Hours of Work

17.5 hours per week. Term time only.

Hybrid working - one day a week in hospital and home based.

Annual leave entitlement:

5 weeks a year plus one day for each additional year served up to a maximum of 6 weeks (pro rata for part-time employees) As this is a term time contract, annual leave is taken outside of term time. The annual leave entitlement pay is included in your salary and paid over 12 months.

 Main Duties

1. To work with families with disabled children using Great Northern Children’s Hospital, providing in-person information, advice and support around issues faced by families with children with disabilities.

2. To support parents to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to make decisions which are right for their families.

3. To build strong relationships with hospital partners, funders, Contact volunteers and voluntary sector partners.

4. Focus on developing and enhancing our work with hospitals, aiming to reach more families early in their journey with their child’s disability.

Cross functional duties:

1. Work in partnership with health, local government, and voluntary agencies to ensure those families’ social, emotional, and practical needs are recognised and responded to wherever possible.

2. Work with the By Your Side team to seek ways to improve partnership working with other agencies and hospitals to provide a seamless and co-ordinated service to children and families.

1. Contribute to representing Contact’s work in the hospitals at a strategic level, where appropriate.
2. To work with colleagues to produce appropriate information and publicity materials for families and professionals.
3.  Participate in forums and meetings that operate within Contact, and Children’s Hospital’s to utilise resources available across the organisation as appropriate.
4. Keep up to date with relevant new developments, policies, and guidance.
5. To support and participate in events and activities as appropriate.

General duties

1. To work with parents of disabled children using Great Northern Children’s Hospital, to provide information advice and support to meet their need.
2. Provide in-person drop-in information services for parents of disabled children who attend Great Northern Children’s Hospital. nb the specific hospitals/locations may change as the project develops).
3. The service is in-person, with additional online support.
4. Ensure the provision of good quality information and support to parents and professionals working with families.
5. Respond to enquiries via phone, social media, email and through the drop-in service for information and advice from parents, signposting on to other organisations where appropriate.
6. Work in collaboration with hospital and hospices staff, and colleagues in other By Your Side services (e.g., Midlands, London and Scotland) to continuously promote and improve the By Your Side service for families, developing and growing a network of partners
7. Actively gather information on local services and explore the most effect ways to disseminate this across the designated location(s).
8. Deliver and contribute to the design of information workshops (delivered face to face or virtually) to parents and professionals.
9. Maintain accurate up to date records of work.
10. Participate in external family and information events to promote the work of Contact. 
11. Monitor and evaluate the impact of the service using the common outcomes framework and use this information to inform the development of the work.

We are looking for a Housing Advice Worker who is passionate about supporting young people experiencing homelessness to transition into safe and secure housing.

The ideal candidate will work proactively and enthusiastically, both independently and as part of a team. They will have experience working in a busy, often fast-paced environment and be confident in assessing individual needs and identifying appropriate housing pathways. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of housing and homelessness legislation, along with a solid insight into the reasons individuals experience homelessness. They will be able to effectively support young people presenting with a wide range of needs and barriers.

In this role, you'll:

• Lead the development and execution of Oak’s B2B go-to-market strategy, working closely with Oak’s ‘adopt squad’.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of working with industry standard fundraising software solutions in the charity sector, ideally have knowledge of Claris Filemaker products and will have experience of creating new, and maintaining and updating existing, complex database systems.Experience of creating scripts and troubleshooting existing scripts is key, along with considerable hands-on experience of working with complex data sources, transfers and imports. An understanding and working knowledge of Data Protection regulations is required.

Crucially, you will ensure that psychosocial, and recovery support interventions are delivered as part of a cohesive recovery plan while working collaboratively with external and partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes for service users.

There will be lots of opportunity to participate in service promotion, networking activities and events to support the visibility of the service, as well as developing relationships with local services and communities to strengthen pathways into the service.

We are looking for an individual to work full-time which will include a mix of 9-5pm and 12-8pm fixed shifts per week pending on service requirements, Monday to Friday, with potentially occasional Saturdays (9-2pm remotely) due to possible requirements of the service, however another day off would be agreed on during the week.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing face to face and online advice, assessment, brief and structured interventions to help clients achieve their recovery goals, using motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioural approaches
• Provide safe and effective support to individuals whilst managing safeguarding issues in line with safeguarding procedures and policies
• Development of collaborative working relationships with external agencies, professionals and groups to facilitate multi agency approaches and holistic support
• Development and maintenance of relationships with local services and communities to support identification of gambling harms and pathways into service 
• Participation in service promotion, networking activities and events to support visibility and ongoing development of the service, and to proactively respond to the needs identified within the region

About you

You should have significant experience in individual client work in the field of addictions, mental health or a social care setting with adults or young people.

You should be flexible in using a range of low and high-intensity interventions and modalities including Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) tools.

You should live at a reasonable distance from GamCare’s London office due to expectations of working from the office when required, as well as being able to travel to other locations across Greater London to deliver services or attend community events.

About the role

We’re excited to be recruiting a Social Media Executive to help WWF-UK build on the strong growth we’ve achieved across our social channels and take our reach and impact even further.

This is a hands-on, creative role at the heart of our communications, shaping how we show up every day across social platforms to connect people with our mission to protect and restore nature.

You’ll create engaging, audience-first content and coordinate activity across our social media channels, helping to grow our audiences, deepen supporter relationships and inspire people across the UK to take action for nature and climate.

Working closely with teams across WWF-UK and with colleagues in WWF International, you’ll play a key role in delivering integrated campaigns and always-on content that is timely, relevant and impactful.

This is a fast-paced and varied role, balancing creativity with insight. You’ll be as comfortable spotting trends and testing new ideas as you are using data and performance to refine and improve what we do.

Skills and experience

You’ll bring the skills and experience needed to succeed in this role, including:

Essential

· Experience creating and publishing social media content within a communications, marketing or digital environment

· Strong understanding of how to tailor content for different audiences, formats and social media platforms

· Ability to produce engaging, high-quality content, ideally including video and digital assets

· Experience using social media scheduling and publishing tools such as Sprout, Hootsuite or Meta Business Suite

· Good understanding of social media performance metrics and how to use data and insight to improve content and engagement

· Experience working within brand and tone of voice guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality

· Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and adaptable style

· Creative, proactive and curious, with a strong eye for content and emerging trends

· Confidence managing online communities, including responding to and handling sensitive or challenging interactions

· Collaborative approach, with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams

Desirable

· Experience creating and editing video content for social media

· Experience using social listening tools and applying insight to content planning and optimisation

· Experience tracking performance and producing social media reports with clear, actionable insights

· Understanding of digital marketing and the role of social media within wider communications and campaigns

· Experience working within a charity, non-profit or purpose-driven organisation

· Understanding of how social media can support fundraising, influencing or behaviour change

This role is hybrid with a minimum 40% of your contracted hours spent at our beautiful UK head office, the Living Planet Centre in Woking, Surrey, where you’ll hot desk among trees and gardens.

Prospectus is excited to be partnering with our client in the search for a permanent Corporate Partnerships and Events Manager.

The organisation is a charity committed to improving social mobility in the UK. Their work is focused on improving social mobility through education opportunities. Their mission is to level the playing field for young people from low-income backgrounds so that they have a fair chance of accessing leading universities, apprenticeships, and jobs. With a three-pronged approach including programmes, research, and policy advocacy, the organisation supports nearly 12,000 young people each year and they have been able to work towards keeping social mobility high in the political agenda.

The Corporate Partnerships and Events Manager will be an experienced partnership manager and fundraiser, confident in securing new business through active prospecting and networking along with experience in securing and stewarding strategic partnerships with corporates and their associated corporate foundations. This role will lead a portfolio of corporate partnerships, focused on delivering shared strategic goals to increase social mobility in the workplace. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, the postholder will work on both new business and account management with ambitious individual income targets.

The selected candidate will have experience in securing, managing, and developing corporate partnerships at five-figures-plus level, from initial prospect research to contracting and ongoing stewardship. You will have experience securing and or managing corporate-charity partnerships, including engaging senior leadership. Ideally, the postholder will have experience planning and delivering events that provide high quality stewardship to donors and prospects with a clear project management approach.

This role is a full-time permanent position that will have hybrid working in the London offices for at least two days per week. The salary for this role is £42,025 to £46,000.

This role will support the delivery of a fundraising plan, growing income across channels including Direct Mail, Regular Giving, Lottery, Legacies and In Memory. Working closely with the Head of Individual Giving and Supporter Engagement, you will lead on acquisition campaigns, creative development and supplier management, using a mix of digital and traditional approaches to expand and engage the supporter base.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in Individual Giving, with the ability to develop compelling campaigns that grow income and attract new supporters. You’ll be confident delivering end-to-end programmes, including direct mail, managing budgets and using CRM systems to track performance and insights. Highly organised and adaptable, you’ll be comfortable juggling multiple priorities while creating engaging supporter journeys across a range of channels.
