Endometriosis UK is the leading UK charity supporting those living with endometriosis. Formed in 1981, we offer information and support, for example through our website, information leaflets and webinars, and via our local support groups, Helplines and online forum. As well as directly supporting those with endometriosis, we work to raise awareness of endometriosis amongst healthcare professionals, the public and the media; lobby for improved diagnosis, treatment and management; and support research. We have a big job to do and ambitious plans.
We are looking for an experienced Policy and Campaigns Manager to manage our policy and campaigning work. You will have a strong understanding of the UK political system and how to influence it, and will be confident in drafting reports, consultation responses and working with and disseminating data. You will have worked on health policy before, and will have strong knowledge of how to influence health policy at local and national level.
You must be pro-active in your approach to monitoring the external environment and seeking out opportunities for Endometriosis UK to have the most influence. You’ll be able to work in a small team and understand how we can make the most impact with our limited capacity.
You will be passionate about menstrual health and ensuring patient voices are at the heart of all we deliver, and will be able to turn policy asks into strong campaigns.
About the role:
This is a pivotal role in our Campaigns and Communications Team, reporting to the Head of Campaigns and Communications. You will be managing the drafting of evidenced-based policy positions (for example analysing research, data and lived experience insight) and work with the Head of Campaigns and Communications to ensure these are translated into effective campaigning activity that drives real change.
You will oversee the integration of policy and campaigns activity, working closely with the Campaigns and Policy Officer, and enabling the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team to engage with parliamentary and high-level stakeholder engagement.
This role offers a great opportunity for an experienced Policy and Campaigns Manager to shape how Endometriosis UK uses evidence, policy and campaigning together to improve diagnosis times, access to treatment, and support for those affected by menstrual health conditions across the UK.

We can’t do any of this work without brilliant and concerted fundraising efforts. SHF is independent and relies on funds from grant-making bodies, individuals, and businesses in our supporter community.
This role will be at the forefront of the realisation of SHF’s bold strategic ambitions. You will work alongside our small and dynamic executive team to unlock growth, develop new approaches and communicate our impact.
You will build a lead small, effective and positive fundraising and communications team.
You will develop deep and meaningful relationships with the individuals and organisations while support SHF’s work – and new supporters we have not met yet.

Objectives
FUNDRAISING
- Leadership of successful portfolio of grant funding, including stewardship of existing funders, and growth to new ones through high quality applications and proactive identification of opportunities.

We’re looking for a Direct Marketing Executive to join the Individual Giving team at Prostate Cancer UK. We’re an ambitious charity with a bold mission and a fantastic culture. This role focuses on acquiring new cash and regular givers across a range of channels including digital, telephone and direct mail, helping fund research that will save and improve lives.
In this role you’ll help drive forward our ambitious five-year fundraising strategy as we continue to grow income year on year to have the biggest impact for men. You will lead on our value exchange programme, working closely with the digital team and our telephone partner to continually optimise results. This is a great opportunity to gain experience across a multi-channel campaign. You will also work on wider telephone conversion campaigns and direct mail as well as other test channels with the aim of recruiting new regular and cash supporters as well as re-engaging those who have lapsed. You’ll also help develop and test welcome journeys to engage supporters with our work and make them feel valued. You’ll look for ways to test and innovate to drive the best results. About the role

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The role of Marketing and Communications Coordinator is to provide support in ensuring the
local community is kept informed about Matrix and its projects, as well as engaged in
supporting us. We expect you to be creative, enthusiastic about our cause and an effective
communicator. In this role you will work independently, but in close liaison with the CEO,
Wider Leadership Team and the wider Matrix team.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
External Communication
● In collaboration with the CEO, write, edit and coordinate the production and delivery of
all postal and electronic newsletters.
● Plan, prepare and coordinate communication with Matrix donors, supporter Churches
and the wider public.
● Create, plan and schedule posts across all Matrix social media channels.
● Develop original copy for social media platforms, websites, broadcast and printed
advertising materials.
● In collaboration with the Data Coordinator, simplifying complex data into a user-friendly
format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids.
● Ensure Matrix team understand and use the correct branding for internal and external
communications.
● Understand brand guidelines and consistently implement the brand voice across all
channels and marketing materials and encourage the wider team to do the same.
● Collaborate closely with the Data Coordinator and Head of Operations to ensure our
supporters database meets GDPR and Fundraising Regulation requirements.

Income Generation and Networking

Strategy to enhance our income.
● Attend Matrix fundraising events, taking photographs and supporting with appropriate

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and it’s harming too many lives. At Prostate Cancer UK, one of our top priorities is funding research that leads to real change. It’s vital we do our best to make sure this research makes a meaningful difference to men’s lives, and that’s where you come in.
We’re at an exciting time, with a new strategy coming soon, and so we are looking to grow our Research Funding Team. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Grant Manager to help us deliver our core funding schemes and embark on new, exciting initiatives to fund ground-breaking research that will revolutionise how prostate cancer is diagnosed and treated.
You’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of around a third of our active research grants, providing support and guidance to the researchers leading them. You’ll be a main point of contact for grant applicants, supporting them through the application process and providing them with guidance about remit and eligibility. Using your understanding of research funding and administration, you’ll work with our Senior Research Officers to make sure our funding schemes run smoothly, to time and support our funding Committees in their review of the applications we receive.
What the job involves
It’s crucial that we not only have fair and robust processes to ensure that we fund the very best research, but that we also closely monitor and support the delivery of the resulting projects, to maximise their impact and accelerate the advancements we see through research. Which is why we’re looking to appoint an experienced Grant Manager to join our Research Directorate.
As part of your responsibilities, you’ll manage a portfolio of our active research grants, closely monitoring their progress and finances, and provide valuable support and advice to our grant holders and their teams. You’ll develop a detailed understanding of the science behind these projects and build positive working relationships with the researchers and their institutions. You’ll monitor your portfolio for demonstrable outputs (publications, presentations, intellectual property etc.) and you’ll work closely with colleagues in other teams to help them better understand the research we fund in order to showcase this to our supporters and potential donors.
You’ll support the delivery of our research funding grant schemes, managing at least one of our grant rounds, whilst also supporting our other funding schemes, ensuring that we maintain robust processes and adhere to industry and department standards. You’ll also help direct on our activities to involve people with experience of prostate cancer in research, including their involvement in the assessment of the research proposals we receive, as well as supporting researchers to include patients in the design and delivery of their projects.

Role Summary
As a University Partnership Manager at upReach, you will play a vital role in securing and growing high-impact partnerships with universities committed to social mobility.
Reporting to the Head of Partnerships within the Income Generation and External Engagement team, you will be responsible for developing new strategic relationships, championing our partners' voices across upReach, and working closely with our Programmes Team to oversee a portfolio of university partners. About the role
We’re looking for a motivated and committed public affairs manager to join the policy, evidence and influencing team. In this role, you’ll help deliver change for people affected by breast cancer by leading our public affairs work in the UK Parliament and across England.
