Job Title: Individual Giving Officer

1. Purpose of the Role
• Working with the Head of Fundraising develop programmes for the recruitment and retention of individual supporters.
• Maximise income across channels including direct mail, email, social media. Working with other team members to deliver this.
• Grow income stream from individual giving products such as appeals, raffles, lotteries and other individual giving products, such as our Pet Pen Sponsorship.
• Develop budgets and business plans and contribute to fundraising strategy.
• Manage and optimise supporter experience for retention, engagement, and cross-marketing.

2. Principle Tasks
• Oversee the annual individual giving fundraising calendar and campaigns from start to finish.

About the role
To lead the strategic development and delivery of WaterAid's public fundraising integrated campaigns and high-impact mass public campaigning activations. As a key strategic leader, this role is responsible for driving marketing activities that effectively build the WaterAid brand, generate vital income, and mobilise public support for our mission.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the strategic development of integrated campaigns, ensuring a balanced focus on fundraising income maximisation and mass public action/mobilisation.
- Provide direct line management to the Campaigns Project Manager and champion best practice in project governance and execution.
- Direct cross-functional collaboration to align internal teams (Advocacy, Digital, Brand) and external agencies for seamless, high-impact campaign delivery.

Requirements
To be successful, you will need:
- Strategic Marketing & Public Campaigning Expertise: Proven track record of developing and owning the strategy for large-scale integrated campaigns with explicit goals for both income generation and mass public action.
- Line Management & Delegation: Formal experience in line managing staff, including appraisals, performance management, and a proven ability to delegate effectively.
- Strategic Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills to lead and gain buy-in from cross-functional teams in a matrix structure.
- Financial Governance: Proven ability to manage and be accountable for large activity budgets, overseeing planning, forecasting.
Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:
- Experience with Large-Scale Fundraising Campaigns with significant income targets and experience contributing to Brand Building and Management.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join ATLEU, a leading anti-trafficking and human rights charity. We are looking for an inclusive, creative, talented facilitator, with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to be our Participation Manager.
The Participation Manager will facilitate survivors of trafficking to use their experiences to support the development of ATLEU’s work and services and to improve policy and practice across the anti-trafficking and legal advice sectors. Working with group members, this individual will be responsible for supporting the expansion of the group (The Changemakers) and the remit of ATLEU’s participation work from January 2026 when the current projects come to a close, ensuring new members are inducted and supported to engage and lead in future projects. The overall aim of the participation and activism work is to integrate survivors at all levels within ATLEU, as well as creating a project that offers different levels of engagement, depending on the interests and capacity of individual group members.
The Participation Manager is a key member of the Rise and Lead project team, which is a groundbreaking new employment pathways project in partnership with Southeast and East Asian Centre (SEEAC) and Voice of Domestic Workers for those with experience of human trafficking and migration.
The successful candidate will have direct experience of working with vulnerable individuals, ideally survivors of trafficking, a strong understanding of the challenges survivors face and be committed to shifting power to people with lived experience. They will have a flexible approach and understand what empowerment means in its truest sense, allowing the structure of the work to be led by the needs of the group rather than with a predetermined or fixed idea of what this will look like.

Although just a small team, ATLEU’s work has led to significant changes in law and policy. Since we were established in 2013, we have led the way in ensuring that survivors of trafficking have access to free, independent legal advice by enabling access to legal aid, across the range of issues survivors experience. For example, our litigation against the Legal Aid Agency led to their concession that legal aid provision was insufficient for victims of trafficking and an increase in the number of trafficking compensation cases that legal aid providers were contractually able to assist with each year (from 5 up to 100). Following litigation on behalf of our client LL, the Legal Aid Agency agreed that victims of trafficking were legally entitled to free immigration advice on applying for leave to remain in the UK on the basis of their trafficking experiences and publicised this entitlement.

Marketing Manager

About You and the Role
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the management and delivery of the organisation’s marketing work spanning advertising, social media, print, content creation, data capture and intelligence gathering, evaluation and reporting.
Working closely with the Head of Digital and Communications and the Design and Communications Officer, this role is instrumental in the delivery of marketing and communications strategies, and plays a role in nurturing relationships with stakeholders, including partners, artists and audiences.
The role will also be responsible for sharing intelligence and ideas to support colleagues across the organisation in identifying/developing new digital strategies to positively impact upon Modern Art Oxford’s reach, engagement, brand and profile.
Principal Responsibilities
- To work closely with the Head of Digital and Communications and in consultation with the wider team, to plan, develop, manage and deliver Modern Art Oxford’s marketing and communications strategies spanning advertising, print, content production and campaign-specific.
- Develop and manage Modern Art Oxford’s digital marketing work, with assistance from the Design and Communications Officer, including content production for social media, email marketing and website platforms.
- To manage ticketing for our public programme events using Eventbrite.
- To promote and communicate Modern Art Oxford’s artistic programme, spanning exhibitions, projects and learning work, to a diverse and broad range of audiences and stakeholders to support the organisation’s targets for visitor figures and online engagement and reach, whilst consistently protecting and building its brand and profile.
- To lead in promoting Modern Art Oxford’s commercial offer to a broad range of audiences, including our artist-designed café, our shop and our hires offer.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Fundraising professional to join our Individual Giving Team, focussing on our mid value programme and assisting with the production and development of campaigns aimed specifically for this audience.
Direct Marketing plays an important role in the organisation’s fundraising and overall corporate strategy, and we have seen a fantastic growth in our mid-value programme to date. You’ll consistently review KPIs and make evidence-based choices to help assist with growing the programme and delivering our overall financial target.
What we want from you
We’re looking for a Direct Marketing Executive who has excellent knowledge and experience of working in a fundraising environment is vital, you’ll also be able to demonstrate your knowledge and/or experience of stewarding donors by understanding the importance of meeting their needs.
You’ll possess first class communication skills; a strong team ethic and you will be at ease working with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels. The ability to manage expenditure budgets and projects is also essential, along with proven knowledge of data protection and sector compliance. Democracy Classroom is a non-partisan, UK-wide initiative and a leading voice for the sector, reaching teachers and youth practitioners in 95% of the UK’s parliamentary constituencies. ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Partnerships Manager to strengthen and grow our connections across the youth, education and democracy sectors. You will play a key role in expanding and deepening the Democracy Classroom Network, helping to increase its reach, visibility and impact on democratic education across the UK.
The role will support organisations to prepare for and collaborate on upcoming changes in democratic engagement and education - such as the introduction of Votes at 16 - ensuring the sector is coordinated, informed and ready to respond collectively.
This is a dynamic, people-focused role supporting more than 100 partner organisations to collaborate, share learning and deliver joined-up support for teachers and youth practitioners. You will combine excellent relationship-building with the ability to think strategically, spot opportunities and translate them into practical action.
You will work closely with the Head of Communications and Networks, the Communications Lead, and colleagues across The Politics Project to ensure that partners are supported, connected and able to collaborate effectively. The role blends strategic relationship management with hands-on coordination and communication.
Key responsibilities include:
Partnership management
- Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with over 100 existing civil society partners.
- Act as the main point of contact for partner queries, feedback and support.
- Identify and onboard new organisations to join the Democracy Classroom Network.
- Facilitate partner input into planning, decision-making and shared problem-solving.
Strategic development and coordination
- Identify new opportunities for collaboration, policy influence and sector engagement.
- Advise senior colleagues on partnership trends, risks and emerging opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Support
Lead on production of an annual operations improvement plan,
collaborating with teams across the charity to ensure their operational
support needs are listened to and met.
Manage and develop operational systems to support the effective
delivery of Weston Park Cancer Charity as the organisation grows;
conduct regular reviews of internal operational processes, including
reviewing contracts and monitoring systems.
Support the Head of Governance and Operations in effective
management of supplier contracts including building leases, IT support
provider, third party suppliers, cleaning. Ensuring legal, regulatory, and
contractual compliance for each contract whilst achieving value for
money.
Provide operational management of our working spaces, including our
buildings, facilities and also our big purples buses within the community, ensuring the public, colleagues, volunteers and visitors are safe and
experience a warm and welcoming environment.
Lead on the coordination of charity vehicles maintenance and insurance,
working with the Head of Cancer Services, Transport Coordinator and
Service Development and Engagement Manager for the Outreach Team.
Review, Develop and Produce operational policies and procedures to
ensure the smooth running of the organisation (e.g. Lone Working).
Act as a Charity Data Protection Officer (DPO) and lead on data collection
and storage in line with current GDPR and Data Protection Regulations.
Lead with producing monthly and quarterly Operations Reports, and
producing any further reports requires for assurance purposes for the
Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees.
Health & Safety
Lead on Health & Safety and risk management, and the annual H&S audit
with the support of our external advisor, ensuring risk assessments are
undertaken and the charity fulfils its legal duties in relation to our
buildings, services, fundraising activity and home-based working.
Ensure all staff and volunteers are trained on H&S and there is
appropriate coverage of Fire Marshalls, First Aiders, MHFA etc. on site, in
outreach services and for our charity events, as appropriate.
Lead on our contingency planning and maintaining our business
continuity plan.
Tech Support
Lead on cyber security training and improvements.
Lead on IT equipment and access for staff, including the onboarding and
off boarding process and management of access to shared folders and
platforms.
Workwear and equipment
Manage stock control and ordering of office and facilities supplies.
Support & Development
Manage the Operations Assistant and support their development.
Lead the Operational Working Group to ensure operational matters are
progressed in a timely and efficient manager, reporting progress to the
Leadership Team.
Lead with the co-ordination of the annual renewals training for H&S, Fire
Marshalls and MHFA, support HR with the induction training of new staff.
Undertake operational improvement projects as directed by the Head of
Governance and Operations
Attend and contribute to team meetings and 'away days' and be an
active, invested member of our team.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the region to attend charity
fundraising events and outreach services.
Able to work flexibly, including working in the evenings and at
weekends.
Hybrid working with regular travel to our London Bridge Office
What the job involves
Our Events and Community Fundraising team raises funds for Prostate Cancer UK through a programme of owned products, activities and events, in addition to third-party challenges. Alongside our two owned events, March for Men and the Grand Depart Classic, we also recruit teams in events such as the TCS London Marathon, Great North Run and the London Landmarks Half Marathon.
In this role, you’ll project manage a number of third-party events which take place across the UK, including our teams at the London Landmarks Half Marathon and the Royal Parks Half Marathon. You’ll also be tasked with identifying new opportunities across the UK in the charity events market.
Your responsibilities will span the full event cycle; from setting budgets and developing marketing plans, to building supporter communications, managing event logistics, providing on-the-day support, and overseeing remittance and thanking — ensuring we maximise income and deliver exceptional supporter experiences.
Alongside this, you’ll work with other teams within Prostate Cancer UK to support the full calendar of events and take the lead with supporting our volunteers at our events. Working with our Communications teams, you’ll ensure that we make the most of every opportunity, from promoting the events to warm and new audiences, identifying and building relationships with the strongest case studies, to ensuring a high proportion of event participants continue to support us long after they cross the finish line.
What we want from you
We’re looking for a dedicated person to join our established, experienced and high-performing Events and Community Fundraising team, that has ambitious plans to grow income to £16M+ by 2030. As a team, we work hard to combine our strengths and motivate each other and share a passion for success. You’ll be joining an experienced and supportive team that will help you grow your strengths and support your development.
You’ll have experience working in a sporting events team with a background of assisting or leading with the delivery of large-scale events, covering aspects such as marketing, communications and event delivery. Ideally with a fundraising background to enable you to hit the ground running. You’ll also have excellent communication skills and can motivate and inspire for our cause. Strong organisational skills will be combined with the ability to prioritise a busy workload and work to tight deadlines.
You’ll have the energy and passion to provide crucial input to this sector-leading team. The Role
Reporting to the Head of People, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering the organisation’s People Strategy. You’ll lead on ED&I initiatives, partnering with senior stakeholders to create an inclusive and engaging workplace culture, and take ownership of employee relations casework, ensuring best practice and fair outcomes throughout.

Key Responsibilities
Lead on ED&I
- Take ownership of the organisation’s ED&I strategy and action plan, embedding inclusion through policies, processes, and culture.
- Co-chair the ED&I Steering Group and act as a trusted subject matter expert on inclusive practices.
- Design and deliver impactful ED&I initiatives, workshops, and campaigns.
- Analyse workforce data to shape strategy and report progress to senior leadership.
- Coach and support senior leaders to embed inclusive leadership behaviours.
HR Business Partnering & Employee Relations
- Partner with senior stakeholders to provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, wellbeing, and engagement.
- Lead on complex employee relations casework, ensuring thorough and consistent resolution.
- Support on restructures, TUPE, workforce planning, and organisational change.
- Develop and update HR policies in line with legislation and best practice.
- Contribute to HR projects that enhance culture, development, and retention.
About You
You’ll bring both strategic thinking and hands-on experience, with the confidence to influence and deliver at a senior level.
We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a HR Advisor or HR Generalist capacity.
- Proven experience leading ED&I initiatives and workshops.
- Strong experience partnering with senior stakeholders to implement people strategies.
- Solid track record managing complex employee relations casework.
- Excellent understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience within the Housing Sector is highly desirable.
