Connect: North Korea is a fast-growing charity supporting North Korean escapees to build new lives after experiences of systemic discrimination, poverty, and trauma.

Our organisational income has grown consistently year on year since we registered in 2018. We now have a series of multi-year grants in place ensuring that 42% of our income for 2026 is already secured. We are looking to recruit a dynamic Head of Fundraising to lead and deliver income generation as we scale our work in the UK and globally.

This is a rare opportunity to work closely with the CEO and across programme teams to map out our annual fundraising plan, craft compelling cases for support, develop funder relationships, with an aim to securing our funding base year on year. 

Position: Head of Fundraising

Responsible to: Chief Executive Officer

Based at: Our offices in New Malden KT3 with some remote/home working. We will be as flexible as possible to accommodate the right candidate.

Contract: Permanent. Full-time or Part-time considered. Flexible hours/days possible.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 FTE + 5% eligible pension.

Role objective

Lead our efforts to grow and diversify CNK’s income across individual giving, trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, and community fundraising. Diversity our income base by increasing our unrestricted income, ensure organisational sustainability by securing multi-year grants and growing individual and corporate donations and grow our annual income by identifying and building relationships with new donor

• Develop our annual organisational fundraising strategy and fundraising action plan;
• Draft fundraising targets and KPIs based on current income levels and our delivery plans for 2026;
• Lead and coordinate all CNK fundraising activity from Trusts and Foundations, corporates and individual supporters;
• Build relationships with major donors, corporates, charitable Trusts and Foundations and other institutional funders;
• Ensure all fundraising meets the Code of Fundraising Practice, safeguarding standards, GDPR compliant and CNK’s values; and
• Report quarterly on fundraising progress to Chief Executive and Board of Trustees

Life is a UK charity for vulnerable women and families facing unexpected pregnancy or pregnancy loss. Life’s aim is to provide housing, care and support to vulnerable pregnant women (typically aged 16-25) who are in crisis situations, such as those facing homelessness (or at risk of), escaping abuse or other traumatic circumstances. About You

We’re looking for an experienced senior finance professional who combines technical expertise with strong leadership skills.

You will have:

· A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent).

· Proven significant experience in senior finance leadership, including management accounts, budgeting, and statutory reporting.

· Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and charity finance (including restricted and endowment funds). 

· Demonstrable strong knowledge of financial controls, accounting standards, and (ideally) charity finance.

· Proven experience managing or implementing finance systems or digital transformation projects.

· Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels.

· A collaborative, proactive, and improvement-focused approach.

Desirable:

· Experience within the not-for-profit or charity sector.

· Knowledge of property and investment accounting.

· Familiarity with cloud-based finance systems.

CoramIAC is a Voluntary Adoption Agency which specialises in Intercountry Adoptions. This position is a member of the Leadership Team and will have a pivotal role in leading, developing and managing a range of operational adoptions services, ensuring that they meet the needs of children we are providing services for, including all legal, policies, guidelines, and internal standards. They will play a key role in helping to develop new services and where appropriate will take operational control of these.

About the Role

The Head of Service post holder will take the lead responsibility (under Ofsted registration) as the Registered Manager of CoramIAC. They will ensure the ongoing delivery of an outstanding VAA that is fully compliant with national minimum standards and regulations; and ensuring high quality adoption support and a sufficient supply of adopters that reflects the diversity of the countries they are adopting from.

Applying to adopt in the UK is open to anyone already in the process with CoramIAC but we do not actively recruit domestic adopters like other VAAs. Approved Intercountry Adopters may however request to change their approval advice to the UK if they are considered a suitable match for children available and waiting for permanence through Adoption in the UK.

CoramIAC predominantly serve prospective adopters from the global majority and as such recruit and train a highly diverse and skilled group of adopters to enable the best outcomes for children whilst also offering adopter and sector diversity for potentially harder to place children. This includes family groups and older children. Our offer to RAAs via our domestic program therefore delivers families for children who often wait the longest in the care system.

This is a senior leadership role accountable for award winning high performing shops that deliver + £3.5m in sales in the context of an ambitious and developing trading strategy.  The post holder is directly accountable for sustaining and building this performance leading a team of staff and volunteers and in working as part of the central trading and wider hospice teams.  The role combines sales and profit targets, creativity, accountability, empathic people skills and a passion for trading. Our retail business is a key driver for organisational success. The Hospice of St Francis Charity provides essential free care across West Hertfordshire and South Buckinghamshire.  More than 80% of the income we spend comes from trading and fundraising. Our retail performance (sales and profit) benchmarks at the very top of the sector with award winning and innovative retail formats supported by a strong volunteer base and shop team delivering outstanding customer service. 

Main duties and responsibilities:

· Line management and mentoring 5 direct line reports and oversight accountability for a team of 33 whole time equivalent employees (53 people) and 500 volunteers

· Maintain and improve our performance at the top of the charity retail sector nationally

· Hold oversight of leases and ensure effective lease management

· Accountability for delivering more than £3.5m in annual sales, with levels of engagement, profit and performance that deliver the strategic aims of the Charity

· Accountability for retail Gift Aid income and HMRC compliance assuring at least £300k annually from retail claims

· Project manage the process of new shop openings as required

TAG Youth Club, an award-winning charity and a youth club open to children, young people and young adults, whatever their disability. We work hard to accommodate anyone who wants to join and particularly those who have restricted opportunities elsewhere.  We respond to the needs of the communities we serve and cater for those between the ages of 8 – 25 years. 

TAG started almost 25 years ago, as a group of parents who got together to create an inclusive space for their disabled young people to socialise.  From those humble beginnings TAG has now grown to over 250 members and supports over 750 family members.The club now makes many activities available to young disabled people that would not ordinarily be available to them (such as climbing, skiing, archery, parkour, scootering and skateboarding). Our activities provide members with opportunities to meet new people, make friends, learn social and life skills, and to thrive and grow in confidence and independence.

This exciting new part time role has been created to support the CEO and Head of Operations, providing administrative support in a wide variety of areas including finance, fundraising, office systems and management, premises, promotion, marketing and communications. 

Financial administration includes input and reconciliation of all financial data and ensures efficient reporting, analysis and measurement of data and financial information against set timescales, targets and objectives. H/she will support annual budget preparation and will contribute to the Annual Report.

H/she will track funding opportunities, deadlines and bid submissions and will draft/edit grant applications.  They will maintain the funding database and track Award deadlines and write Award entries.

Office and systems management will include efficient record keeping and databases, maintain IT equipment and oversee insurance and service contracts.  They will also maintain TAG's website and social media platforms and support/represent TAG at external events.  They wil manage DBS documentation, insurance policies and membership subscriptions.

The Head of Marketing and Communications plays a leading role in developing the gallery’s brand, growing and diversifying audiences, and strengthening the visibility of the organisation locally, nationally and internationally.  Working closely with the Director and Senior Management Team (SMT), this pivotal role is instrumental in helping to meet the gallery’s objectives to increase footfall and digital engagement, strengthen relationships with existing visitors and develop new audiences. This post-holder plays a central role with the Director in maintaining the artistic reputation and profile of Modern Art Oxford as one of the UK’s most ambitious and influential contemporary art organisations, and driving ambitious marketing and communications campaigns. 

The position is responsible for developing and delivering the gallery’s audience development, communications and digital strategies, and plays a central role in nurturing relationships with stakeholders, including press, partners, artists and audiences.  Ensuring compliance with data protection legislation and championing the gallery’s value of equality, diversity and inclusion are central to this role.

Reporting to the Director and forming part of the Senior Management Team, the Head of Marketing and Communications is a full time position which manages and is supported by a full-time Marketing Manager and a full-time Design and Communications Officer, with freelance support on press/PR and design as required for specific exhibitions and projects.

• To grow and diversify Modern Art Oxford’s visiting and online audiences by leading audience development, communications and digital marketing strategies that will enable the organisation to build on its brand and profile, and strengthen its visibility in Oxford, the UK and beyond.

• To strategically develop distinctive and innovative digital content, working closely and in creative collaboration with the Head of Exhibitions, Head of Communities, Participation and Practice as well as the wider Marketing and Communications team.
• To work with colleagues to strengthen visitor experience and engagement, both on-site and digitally, to increase profile and ensure that the organisation continues to thrive as one of the UK’s leading contemporary art spaces.
• To work closely with the SMT to drive audience research, development and evaluation, ensuring that the gallery attracts significant visitor numbers and closely addresses our stakeholder priorities.
• To manage the Marketing Manager  and the Design and Communications Officer positions.

Fundraising and Finance

• To attend events at Modern Art Oxford and externally to represent the gallery and build relationships with key external stakeholders. Occasional weekend and evening work will be required.
• To ensure tight, clear, budgetary setting, control and regular re-forecasting against targets working with the Head of Finance.
• To work closely with the Head of Development to support new fundraising initiatives and partnerships as required.
• To regularly review all communications activities, suppliers and resources to ensure best value for money.
• To prepare reports as required by Arts Council England and Oxford City Council and other funders/stakeholders in relation to digital, marketing and communications activities.

General

• To support the work of the gallery in strengthening the equality, diversity and inclusivity of the working environment and practices.
• To ensure team management and cross-departmental work is effective and timely in achieving annual targets.

Person Specification

• Experience of running a Marketing and Communications team at a senior level within an arts organisation or similar field

• Excellent arts press contacts and/or partnership development experience.
• Demonstrable experience of audience research, segmentation and development

JOB SUMMARY

To ensure that efficient governance, operational systems and controls are in place to manage Factory International’s Governance and Business Administration function.

This includes governance and acting as Company secretariat, data protection and acting as Data Protection Officer, accountable for Business Plan Reporting, internal communication, oversight of Legal & Compliance, Risk Management, Insurance, Policies & Procedures and Procurement

The key responsibilities for the Head of Governance & Business Administration include;

Governance & Risk

• Ensure robust governance frameworks and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate Board and Committee meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and distribution of papers
• Maintain statutory registers and ensure timely filing of returns and documents with regulatory bodies
• Support FI Executive and Board in proactively managing risk, and accurately reflecting via the Company Risk register, working closely with Directors to ensure quarterly updates are shared with the Executive Leadership and Board of Trustees (including relevant sub-committees)
• Maintain consistency and compliance for all internal communication channels

Business Planning & Reporting

• Act as the organisational lead for Business Plan Reporting, ensuring alignment across all key grant funding agreements and business plan KPIs
• Oversee the annual cycle of statutory reporting to both public sector funders and trustees including all ad-hoc reporting requests across the business
• Attend key external stakeholder meetings with the Executive Director (e.g. MCC, ACE, GMCA) relating to reporting against grant agreements etc
• Work closely with key Directors, Commercial Leads (including the Trusts & Foundations Manager) on funding bids ensuring that commitments are consistent with our agreed internal Business Plan targets and objectives

Legal, Insurance, Data Protection & Compliance

• Ensure legislative and regulatory compliance in all systems and procedures around business administration
• Acting as lead organisational contact and budget holder for external legal support ensuring consistent processes are followed and value for money is achieved to meet the strategic needs of the business
• Ensure adequate data protection in place, devise and implement any additional process and/or training, and act as DPO, accessing external advice as appropriate
• Where required, support the achievement of essential consents such as Planning, Licence variations, Building Control, etc
• Manage the relationship with FI’s insurance broker, working with the Executive Director and Finance Director to ensure appropriate cover and regularly review policies. Overseeing the appropriate claiming of all losses

Procurement

• Acting as lead organisational contact for all Procurement Activity – working closely with the Executive Director to ensure consistent processes are followed and value for money is achieved to meet the strategic needs of the business
• Maintain oversight of the register of planned Procurement as well as responding to un-planned procurement requirements – working closely with relevant Directors and Executives

Policies & Procedures

• Overall responsibility for control and oversight of the organisation’s suite of policies and procedures, including requests for new procedures
• Ensure that key policies are updated by business owners and renewed as per the agreed schedule – ensuring a consistency of tone, content and that relevant checks/approvals have been managed at the appropriate level (Exec, Trustees etc)

Playskill is a Hertfordshire based charity supporting pre-school children with physical disabilities & delays and their families. Across two sites in Watford and Hemel Hempstead, our work helps to build family resilience in the pivotal early years of a child’s life. Our specialist early intervention work delivering multi-disciplinary therapeutic play sessions, parent training/modelling, family social respite events and family support provides holistic family centred work aiming to build foundational skills for life

The Family Support Lead will coordinate our Family Support service across all locations providing holistic support to families of children with a physical disability/delay living in Hertfordshire, always keeping close adherence to best Safeguarding practice and procedures.

The role involves working with the Head of Family Service and Operations and Head of Development to develop the Support Worker team to deliver high quality family support. This may mean supporting families in group settings, family centres or in the home and holding caseloads with a holistic view in how to best meet need. Working closely with local stakeholders (including but not limited to schools, family hubs, social care, health and other voluntary sector organisations), the wider Playskill team and families, this role will deliver family-centred practice, ensuring positive outcomes for families.

We are looking for someone who has an understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and the challenges to navigate education, welfare and health systems. They will need to understand the needs of families and be able to work collaboratively.

The role will be responsible for the integration of our Support Worker team and family support services, ensuring best practice and identifying training needs as they arise.

You must be well organised and able to demonstrate the ability to develop strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. As a self-starter, you will be able to use your own initiative, can problem solve and prioritise, with good planning and organisational skills. You will be expected to manage your weekly diary ensuring you are offering timely, quality support across our sites and within the community. The Head of Compliance and Building Safety will lead the strategic management and operational delivery of Look Ahead's compliance functions, encompassing Building Safety, Fire Safety, Gas Safety, Water Hygiene, Lift Safety, Electrical Safety, and Asbestos Management.

What you'll do:
* Lead, develop and coach the Compliance and Building Safety team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused services.
* Oversee statutory compliance across building safety, fire, gas, water hygiene, lifts, electrical systems, and asbestos.
* Manage service contracts and remedial works, ensuring value for money, regulatory compliance, and minimal disruption to residents.
* Act as the lead reporting officer to external bodies including the Regulator of Social Housing and MHCLG.
* Develop and implement policies and inspection programmes aligned with the Building Safety Act and other legislation.
* Monitor contractor performance, resolve disputes, and ensure health and safety standards are met across all sites, working in collaboration to manage the quality of all fire remedial works completed by external contractors.
* Manage budgets, procurement, and contract delivery, ensuring financial accountability risk management, and service excellence so programmes are delivered on time and within budget.
* Promote safeguarding, equality, and data protection across all compliance activities.
