We’re looking for an ambitious and strategic Head of Fundraising to lead the acceleration of Lift Schools’ comprehensive fundraising strategy and scale a proven fundraising income stream that supports our ambitious mission and long-term growth.

About the Role

As Head of Fundraising and Communications, you’ll be working with the Chief Executive, Board of Trustees, and Leadership Team to deliver £1.4m of income and establish a strong financial foundation for the new Youth Zone.

You’ll develop and drive income strategy, lead a high-performing Fundraising and Communications team, and personally manage relationships with key major donors, including local individuals and businesses supporting the Founder Patron campaign. Founder Patrons pledge at least £25k annually for four years, together these 34 Founder Patrons will ensure that the organisation has a strong financial position ensuring the team can transform the lives of 18,000 young people in the first four years.

About You

You will have a demonstrable track record of income generation through personally securing at least five figure major donor gifts from high net worth individual (HNWIs) and/or corporates, with an impressive track record in securing significant funds and meeting challenging financial targets, including both new business and account management

You will have experience of:

• Developing a new pipeline of HNWIs and/or corporate prospects and being pro-active in converting these to active donors.

TAG Youth Club, an award-winning charity and a youth club open to children, young people and young adults, whatever their disability. About the role

Work setting: London-based / Hybrid (minimum 4 days per month in the office), or home-based.
Contract: Fixed term 9-month contract Full-time (35 hours per week, 5 days or a 9-day fortnight)
Part-time considered (min. 21 hours per week)

As the Head of Information and External Training, you will:

• Provide strategic leadership to the Information and External Training teams, fostering a high-performing and inclusive culture.
• Contribute to the development of a sustainable plan for the delivery and leadership within the Services directorate, and the transition to it, in collaboration with colleagues.
• Lead people engagement and change as we make decisions on the future shape and line reporting of the Information and Training teams.
• Oversee the delivery of accessible, high-quality information for older people and professionals.
• Shape and deliver external training for advisers, public bodies, and corporates, including developing a commercial training offer.
• Work closely with Marketing and Engagement teams to ensure clarity, collaboration, and consistency.
• Represent Independent Age externally, sharing expertise and promoting the charity’s mission.
   

About you
The Head of Information and External Training will have:

• Proven leadership of high-performing teams in information, advice, or external training services.
• Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
• Experience in organisational change and team engagement.
• Analytical skills to evaluate impact and inform decisions.
• Experience in managing the development of external training provision for professionals and organisations.
• Knowledge of issues affecting older people in financial hardship and how information and advice interventions can improve lives.

To lead and deliver Richmond CVS’s support services for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across the borough. This includes providing high-quality advice, training, and development support, alongside managing key projects and coordinating external consultants.

The role is central to strengthening the VCSE sector, with a focus on organisational development, fundraising, and governance. It also involves working closely with statutory partners including Richmond Council and the South West London Integrated Care Board (ICB), ensuring that VCSE organisations are well-positioned to engage with and influence local systems.

The postholder will also lead the design and delivery of new initiatives, including externally funded programmes, and will have the opportunity to shape and evolve the role in response to emerging needs.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery & Development

Provide tailored advice and support to VCSE organisations on governance, fundraising, income generation, and strategic planning.

Lead the development and delivery of training programmes, workshops, and resources.

Support organisations to strengthen their legal structures, policies, and compliance.

Promote inclusive and accessible service delivery.

Leadership & Strategy

Provide strategic leadership for RCVS’s capacity building and project work.

Contribute to organisational strategy and planning.

Represent RCVS at external meetings, networks, and partnerships, including with statutory bodies.

Project & Programme Management

Manage capacity building projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to agreed outcomes.

Monitor and evaluate project impact, producing reports for funders and stakeholders.

Manage relationships with external consultants to ensure quality and consistency.

Line Management

About the Role:

As a Deputy Head of Service for Performance & Quality you will:

• proactively analyse data from diverse sources, transforming it into powerful & useful insights for our service
• produce management information, impact analysis, service modelling & customer-focused performance tools
• monitor service performance & identify risks to support & enable data-driven decision-making & continuous improvement
• be a key member of a multi-disciplinary network of experts within Victim Support's London Management Team
• work in partnership with key stakeholders across London's criminal justice system such as the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC), London's Police forces & the Ministry of Justice (MoJ)

Regular tasks will include:

• Producing monthly & quarterly reports for funders to evidence KPIs; identify trends, risks & service improvements
• Developing & iterating analytical pipelines to deliver high quality insight on service performance
• Meeting with front-line teams to explore service delivery & performance data
• Delivering insights & actions to stakeholders regarding service effectiveness
• Identifying areas of the service where data science & emerging technologies can be applied to improve efficiency, such as AI
• Collaborating with data professionals across Victim Support's national data function and within MOPAC's Data & Insight function

You will need:

• experience using either Python or R to bring data together from diverse sources and prepare for analysis using cleaning and preparation techniques
• extensive practical experience of using innovative platforms for data visualization including R Shiny, Power BI and/or Tableau
• A degree or equivalent professional experience in subjects such as Statistics, Data/ Computer Science, Economics, Public Policy, or the Sciences would be desirable
