Job description

Location: Leicester, Nottingham or East of England (if you are based in the East of England area, you will be home-based)

The Prince’s Trust is currently going through an exciting period of development. We have ambitions to grow our offer to young people by providing a blended approach of face-to-face and digital delivery and support. To help us on this journey we are looking for passionate and motivated individuals to lead our dynamic teams to work with young people either directly through 121 work or the delivery of programmes.

We have a significant opportunity for a Head of Service Delivery across Central East to lead a team of 5 Managers and 30 Youth Development Leads in supporting a large number of young people across the region, into positive outcomes. This role is a great opportunity for an inspiring leader to grow the area, ensuring delivery is managed safely and maximising the funded contracts we have. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership team and be able to influence the direction of the area. You can expect to be challenged and will need strong leadership experience as well as being able to set the strategic direction for the team. There will be some travel required across the area.

As part of the Leadership Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our programmes. Working collaboratively to develop and implement our delivery plan and ensure we meet targets. You must lead the effective service delivery of your team, ensuring that every young person engaged progresses with an appropriate pathway of learning and development and one to one support. You will be a role model for your team, demonstrating best practices in how we work with young people in a safe way to ensure we deliver maximum value for young people and partners.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to engage in challenges with optimism and resilience and be adaptive and flexible – embracing change and innovation. Due to the pandemic and ways of working you must be comfortable both working virtually and communicating on virtual platforms.

If you are up for a challenge and working in a great team, we would love to hear from you!
