As a Community First Aider, you’ll deliver first aid to those in need through local events, as well as provide education to the public so that the ripple effect of First Aid grows.

c) Individuals with computer skills (MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, programming, app design, and graphics).
d) Medical professionals (doctors, nurses, or health workers) experienced in diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, hepatitis, cancer, asthma, tuberculosis, malaria, and eye diseases.
e) Environmentalists and conservation specialists.
f) Social workers and community mobilizers.
g) Students or graduates from colleges and universities in related fields.
h) Experienced professionals willing to volunteer.
i) Volunteers aged 16 to 70 years.
j) Required documentation includes a valid passport, visa, health insurance, and a student or professional ID.
k) Volunteers are encouraged (but not required) to contribute personal teaching materials or medical tools where possible.
l) Food and transport costs are the responsibility of the volunteer unless otherwise agreed.

Marillac Neurological Care Centre (the MNCC) is not-for-profit independent charity providing specialist care and rehabilitation pathways for adults with complex or progressive neurological conditions (brain injury, trauma, infection, stroke) and spinal cord injuries.
Set within 4 acres of landscaped gardens in Brentwood, Essex the building and grounds accommodate 52 beds, 3 units with bungalows. The building also boasts a large fully equipped physiotherapy gym, Occupational Therapy skills kitchen, sensory room, and access to high/low tech neuro technology aids/equipment.
We offer a high staff to resident ratio and our Registered General Nurses are supported by skilled and highly trained Health Care Assistants. Training is key to delivering excellent care, all staff complete yearly mandatory training and yearly clinical competencies.
Working in partnership with patients, families, NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups, Adult Social Care, and Health and Care Management Services offering flexible resident led pathways incorporating both specialised nursing and level 2b rehabilitation.
Placements can be funded via NHS Continuing Health Care (rehabilitation, nursing), Adult Social Care and can be privately funded.

We are looking for people who may be considering taking their first step in a trustee role or may have been involved with trusteeship previously. Our trustees bring their skills, energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the role and play a vital role in making sure that the Wales Mobility & Driving Assessment Service (WMDAS) achieves its core purpose.
They oversee the overall management and administration of the charity. They also ensure WMDAS has a clear strategy and that our work and goals are in line with our vision. Board members act as a group and have a collective responsibility to support and challenge the management team to enable WMDAS to grow and thrive and through this achieve our mission.
Trustee Duties are to:
· Support and provide advice on the WMDAS purpose, vision, goals and activities
· Approve operational strategies and policies, and monitor and evaluate their implementation
· Oversee the WMDAS financial plans and budgets and monitor and evaluate progress
· Ensure the effective and efficient administration of the organisation
· Ensure that key risks are being identified, monitored and controlled effectively.
· Review and approve the WMDAS financial statements.
· Keep abreast of changes in the WMDAS operating environment.
· Contribute to regular reviews of the WMDAS own governance. Attend Board meetings adequately prepared to contribute to discussions

Key Duties and Responsibilities will include:

- Responsible for compliance with all internal Bid policies and procedures and for passing internal and external audits.

Purpose of the Role
This volunteer role is a key part of the HFEH Mind team delivering a range of services across Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing, and Hounslow. We support clients with mental health with both clinical and non-clinical interventions.
The volunteer will work on our Mind Within Counselling Service which offers low cost counselling up to 20 sessions of varied modalities. to residents in Spelthorne and residents across Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing, and Hounslow. Our volunteer will support the Mind Within Counselling team with numerous tasks beginning with the projects administration and triage (once trained).
Main Responsibilities
To work closely with the Mind Within Counselling team and support the service with enquires, & service users to access the service.
Tasks:
· Answer any queries from both professionals and service users that come through to the Mind Within inbox.
· Triage clients for the service through an onboarding process.
· Support with follow up surveys for those who have accessed the project and obtained their feedback to improve our services.
· Support the Mind Within Counselling team to promote the service to the local community.
· Liaise with our digital marketing lead to ensure the service is being promoted on social media.
· A willingness to undertake training courses.
· Uphold HFEH Mind values and behaviours.

Type of person we are looking for:
We welcome applications from those completing studies in Psychology, Counselling/Psychotherapy, or any Allied Health Profession with a focus on supporting those with mental health needs.
However, your attitude, motivation, and commitment are just as important as your training/qualifications, or any previous experience. We will review all applications individually and assess them on their unique merits, so do not be discouraged from applying if you do not meet all the criteria listed below.

Essential:
· An interest in supporting those with mental health needs to access Mind Within Counselling.
· An appreciation of the complex factors that can precipitate, maintain, and exacerbate mental health problems.
· Good oral and written communication skills (including listening skills); the ability to communicate in a patient, considered, and empathetic manner.
· Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to follow administrative procedures.
· A team player who is willing to chip in and work reflexively, responding to the challenges that arise from working in a dynamic environment.
· IT skills – able to update spreadsheets, use web-based applications, video-conferencing software, and Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable:
· Experience of supporting people with mental health needs, in a voluntary, paid, or personal capacity (i.e., friends and family).
· Previous involvement with local community groups/networks/feedback groups.
· Awareness of the cultural barriers that may exist to seeking mental health support.
· Able to speak other languages fluently to support the cultural diversity demographics of the boroughs.
Time commitment and expenses:
· 6-12 hours per week (including a 1-hour lunch break), during our core hours of 10AM – 4 PM. Please indicate your preferred volunteering day(s)/time(s) on your application.
· We request a minimum commitment of 8-12 months of volunteering after the completion of your induction.
· We will provide volunteers with an induction, training, and ongoing mentoring to support them in the role .
· Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Through volunteering as an Emergency Responder, you’ll get a huge sense of satisfaction and pride delivering essential first aid and lifesaving clinical care at community and major events in your areas, including at sporting events, concerts, community festivals.
We will make sure you will have access to a proper induction to volunteering with SJA and the training you need for the role you take on.
