We’re looking for a Housing Night Concierge to be the friendly and reassuring on-site presence across our supported accommodation services (owned or leased by Alongside). You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of both our buildings and the people within them, helping to create a calm, supportive environment overnight.

This role is perfect for someone who’s confident working solo, has great attention to detail, and genuinely cares about maintaining positive relationships within the community. Every shift is an opportunity to support vulnerable individuals and be part of something meaningful.

What you’ll be doing:

• • Be a reassuring on-site presence, ensuring the safety and security of our supported accommodation through the night and weekends.
  • Conduct regular building checks and patrols to monitor safety, maintenance issues, and ensure a calm environment.
  • Monitor any CCTV and respond to any concerns or incidents in line with policies and procedures.
  • Keep a clear and accurate log of events and activities during each shift.
  • Support smooth transitions between shifts by providing details verbal and written handovers.

About the Role:

As a Supported Housing Worker within the Connect Wiltshire service, you’ll provide person-centred, high-quality support and housing management to single homeless clients with low to medium support needs, living in designated properties. Your focus will be on helping individuals progress towards greater independence, ensuring sustainable move-on within defined timescales.

Connect Wiltshire is a multi-agency partnership led by Turning Point and commissioned by Public Health. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in delivering the supported accommodation element of the service. You’ll work closely with partner agencies to support clients with complex needs, many of whom are in early recovery or abstaining from drugs and alcohol.

About the Team

Our Specialist Debt Advice service works with front-line debt advisers based across England & Wales, providing support with their complex case work. The service currently operates between 9-5 Monday to Friday, with advisers offering live support to clients on a rota basis throughout the week.

About the Role

As a Specialist Debt Adviser, you will be responsible for handling phone and email enquiries to the service, using diagnostic questioning to fully establish the caller's enquiry and providing detailed and timely responses. We'll also rely on you to identify and act upon any emergency enquiries and prioritise your workload accordingly. Helping our Team to produce written and on-line content and provide service users with the latest developments in debt regulation, policy and good practice will be important too.

About you

You are someone who champions user-focused advice and who can take complex language and processes and make them easy to understand for professional advisers and other audiences. You have good typing skills and proficiency using Microsoft office applications and case management and reporting systems.

What you will be doing:

• Co-creating tailored 1:1 support for a caseload of young people experiencing mental health challenges.
• Upskilling colleagues to respond effectively to young people’s mental health needs.
• Collecting data on needs, to inform service design and future funding opportunities.

Alongside is the new name for Julian House. We work with people experiencing social exclusion across the South and West of England, providing outreach, accommodation and support. Our clients may be sleeping rough, fleeing abuse, rebuilding after trauma, leaving prison, recovering from addiction, or trying to settle safely in a new community. We’re passionate about delivering person-centred support to some of the most vulnerable individuals in Bath and North East Somerset.

Our hostel is a lively, fast-paced environment that operates 24/7, 365 days a year — providing essential support to people experiencing rough sleeping. It’s a place where compassion meets action, and no two days are the same.

The successful candidate will be one of two Hostel Team Leaders, managing all aspects the hostel, and ensure the delivery of a consistently high quality, safe and person-centred service.

What you’ll be doing:

• Line managing Hostel Support Workers including completing monthly supervisions and annual performance development reviews
• Building an effective and motivated staff and volunteer team promoting a culture of continuous improvement
• Providing planning, leadership and direction, meeting statutory and organisational quality standards
• Maintaining service performance to agreed targets
• Professionally representing the service and organisation at key strategic forums and operational working groups

What we’re looking for:

• • Health or Social Care qualification at degree level or equivalent would be an advantage but is not required
  • Ability to manage the service (Hostel), including supervising staff, providing 1-1s and managing staff performance.
  • Knowledge of the support needs and support planning for single homeless people
  • Knowledge of legal, statutory, regulatory and good practice requirements applicable to the provision of crisis accommodation and move on pathways
