One25 works with women who are trapped in street sex work, supporting them to move from crisis and trauma towards independence in the community. It is a highly respected charity working with some of the most marginalised women in Bristol.
We do this through our night outreach service which is a lifeline for nearly 200 women on Bristol’s streets. Our Health Hub provides vital support for women to access health services and healthcare professionals. Our caseworkers offer intensive one-to-one care in any area of need: from support in court to finding somewhere safe to live.
One25 are recruiting a part time Service Manager to join a dedicated and passionate team who deliver high quality services to women. The successful applicant will oversee management of the health hub service and group work activities, and work collaboratively with other service managers to support the delivery of and connection between One25’s van outreach and casework services. You will support a team of specialist case workers to deliver one-to-one support to women as well as working closely with dedicated volunteers within services.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week over 3 days (Wednesday-Friday). Service Managers are required to complete a monthly van outreach shift (evening hours which can be taken back as TOIL) and to participate in the evening on-call rota (typically once every few months).

One25 is a Bristol charity for women moving from crisis and trauma towards independence in the community. It is a highly respected charity working with some of the most marginalised women in Bristol.
One25 services have been developed to meet women at their point of need, with love and practical support. We do this through our night and early morning outreach service which is a lifeline for nearly 200 women on Bristol’s streets. We are recruiting a Van Outreach Worker to lead One25’s van outreach shifts on alternate weekends. The role provides support and sign-posting to women who are street-sex working, leads and supports a small team of volunteers on each shift, provides briefings and debriefs before and after shifts, and makes decisions relating to safeguarding and safety on the van. On alternate weekends, the Weekend Van Outreach Worker provides on-call support to those on shift. There is also one weekly daytime shift in the office to connect with the wider team.
We are looking for someone who is able to bring compassion and a non-judgemental approach to their engagement with the women. You should have great interpersonal skills which help you to support the volunteers who keep One25’s services running. You should be able to think on your feet and, when necessary, be decisive. This is a unique role and every night can be different. Hours: An average of 12.25 working hours per week in an alternating shift pattern across a fortnight, arranged as follows:
• Week 1: Wed 06:30 – 14:30, Sat 20:30 – 02:00, Sun 20:30 – 12:30

Are you a proactive person looking for a schedule that offers unique flexibility in Bristol?
We are looking for people to join our Bristol Women’s Pathway in the role of Night Concierge (*women only).
Managed in partnership by St Mungo’s and Next Link, Respite Rooms is a 12-month pilot offering short-stay, trauma-informed accommodation for women with complex needs fleeing or at risk of domestic and gender-based violence.
You will be joining a busy service working as a Night Concierge, you will:
- Provide a first point of contact and safeguarding to clients at night.
- Be responsible for dealing with emergencies, undertaking regular health and safety checks on patrols and through monitoring the CCTV system.
- Report incidents or maintenance issues and communicate any concerns or events to the rest of the team.
- This is a lone-working night role, with support available through an on-call system to ensure guidance and assistance is always accessible when needed.
Typical schedule: A rolling night shift rota, including weekends and bank holidays, usually around 9pm-7.30am with 3-4 days off.
About you
This is a great role to learn about working in the charity sector, many of our specialist workers and managers developed a career after starting in Night Concierge roles.
- You don’t need loads of experience; but some time working or volunteering in a similar environment and an understanding of the issues that affect vulnerable women who may have complex needs will be beneficial.
- You should have good communication and basic IT skills with the ability to keep records and follow procedures.
- The ability to stay alert and awake during your shift, and work independently.
- Using your initiative to remain calm to identify the appropriate action to take in various situations.
