Body & Soul is a charity dedicated to transforming the life-threatening effects of adverse childhood experiences. Whether someone has been neglected or abused, trafficked, attempted suicide, or stigmatised because of HIV – we have helped to liberate thousands of people from the trauma that controls them. The Outreach and External Engagement intern will work alongside our Head of Referrals and External Engagement manager, as well as our Partnerships team, to further improve our connections with stakeholders, funders, and referral partners. The successful intern will analyse data collected from a recent stakeholder survey and create a strategy for effective regular engagement with stakeholders, funders and referral partners. They will also assist in the organising, marketing and running of our next Open House event.
Our intern will:
· Help to analyse stakeholder survey results and data.
· Create a comms plan to engage all staff in regular stakeholder engagement.
· Create templates of emails and communication for regularly touching base with partners.
· Assist in building relationships with new partners and strengthening relationships with existing partners.
· Lead in the planning and delivery of an Open House event, from start to finish.

Activities coordinator in our Live Smart independent living scheme for over 50s.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and compassionate volunteer with good interpersonal skills and a desire to help others. Experience of working with older people, with a kind caring nature, and an understanding of resident’s needs.
Activities include:
- Organising activities such as a board games afternoon, craft club and trips out.
- Communicating with the residents to find out the activities they would like to do.
- Arranging for visitors to come in to do activities, or talks.
- Encouraging residents to join in activities.
Skills and requirements:
- Experience of working with older people, with a kind caring nature, and an understanding of resident’s needs.
- An ability to organise activities, offering new ideas and initiatives. Experience with crafts or games skills would be an advantage.
- Able to liaise with the manager who will be able to support advertising the activities to all residents
- Required to have a Driving License and Car
Practical Considerations:
- Required to live locally, as local knowledge is key to this role.
- Volunteers receive a thorough induction and have access to any relevant in-house and external training.
- Volunteers have a named supervisor providing day-to-day support and encouragement.

Commitment:
Commitment can be flexible to suit your availability, from about 1-2 hours per week. The commitment may increase as more residents become interested in activities, but a maximum should be 4 hours per week. Ideally this volunteer will commit to a minimum of 4 months.

The Board of Trustees
The CCS Board of Trustees are a group of people who represent a range of diverse backgrounds and skill sets. They have oversight of the charity and make key decisions to help steer strategic direction.
The Board meets six times a year, usually in our main office in Taunton or via Teams.
Each Trustee will commit to an additional (estimated) six hours a month. This time may include consultations and input into a range of issues between meetings, usually via email.
As Treasurer, you will chair our Finance sub-Committee and be available for the annual strategy and budget making cycle.
You will form a close relationship with our Finance Manager and their team, providing stewardship, guidance and support.
This is a voluntary role, but we will meet all relevant expenses. You will be appointed for a term of three years and may usually serve a maximum of two consecutive terms.

Role Title:
Digital Team Volunteer, Glasgow
Role summary:
The role will provide support to the Scotland digital team including quality assurance and data collection, accessibility, and admin tasks.
The digital team research, design, develop and build the housing advice pages of the website as well as working with the wider Scotland team to produce the pages on the wider Scotland site.

We are looking for cat-loving volunteers to play a vital role in helping us improve the wellbeing of the cats in our care whilst they wait to be rehomed. Can you help them by providing a calm and caring home whilst we find their purrfect forever home
The Cheshire Altrincham Branch covers a large area of Cheshire and we work closely with the Inspectors to provide direct animal welfare services in our area.
The main activity of our branch is to rehome cats, dogs and other animals. We rely on fosterers to look after and care for our animals until we can find them their forever homes.
As a cat fosterer, you would be supporting the RSPCA in providing our cats with the safety of your home whilst tending to their welfare needs such as feeding and grooming. In addition to this, by providing a temporary loving environment, you will play a crucial role in a cat’s wellbeing and socialisation, which will significantly improve their chances of successful rehoming.
Once everything is in place, the animal centre will guide you through the fostering process and ensure that you have all the necessary equipment, food, and veterinary care for your fostered cat. The RSPCA is also happy to reimburse any other pre-agreed expenses that you may incur through volunteering for us.
Whilst our cats are in your foster care, you will:
- Provide them with care, suitable housing, and a safe environment as per our policies and guidelines.
- Feed, water, and groom them in line with our advice.
- Transport them to any veterinary appointments if required.
- Provide them with your time and patience.
- Help us spread the word about the cats in your care so they might find their forever home quicker.
- Playing and cuddles are also a must!

Every bunny needs some bunny sometimes! Can you help foster our rabbits whilst we are looking for their forever home?
The Cheshire Altrincham Branch covers a large area of Cheshire and we work closely with the Inspectors to provide direct animal welfare services in our area. The main activity of our branch is to rehome cats, dogs and other animals. We rely on fosterers to look after and care for our animals until we can find them their forever homes.
You will be joining our lovely team of friendly rabbit fosterers and receive support from your branch manager and other fosterers in the team.
Often when we think about animal fostering, cats and dogs spring to mind, but have you ever thought about fostering rabbits? The RSPCA received more than 5,000 reports last year about rabbits relating to neglect or abandonment and rescued an average of 340 small furries a month! To help us with the rehoming of these rabbits, we are actively looking to add to our fantastic team of volunteer fosterers.
As a rabbit fosterer, you would play an essential role in providing the rabbits in our care with a temporary home whilst they are being rehomed. Like us, even small furries have specific needs and requirements, but rest assured, once we have guided you through the fostering process the animal centre will ensure that you have all the necessary guidance, equipment, food, and veterinary care.
When our rabbits are in your foster care, you will:
- Provide them with care, safe suitable housing, and space for playtime, as outlined in our policies and guidelines.
- Ensure that they are groomed if appropriate, and fed and watered (they eat a bundle of hay as big as they are every day!)
- Provide them with suitable and clean bedding to keep them cosy.
- Give them lots of attention and plenty of cuddles as rabbits are very sociable animals.
- The RSPCA is happy to reimburse you for any pre-agreed expenses incurred through volunteering for us.

As a trustee you will oversee the operation of a major cultural cinema exhibiting a diverse film programme with first run and retrospectives of curated work, including archive, documentaries, and many unique one-off programmes with regular visiting filmmakers. Through our trading subsidiary, we also manage the Work Station creative industries business centre, operate a successful bar/café, and conferencing facilities.
Our Trustees work closely with the Chair, Chief Executive and Senior Management Team to provide clear strategic direction to the organisation, helping to agree policy, define goals, set targets, and evaluate performance.
As with all our Trustees, we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a good understanding of local, regional, and cultural agendas.
Trustees are required to attend approximately 5 Board meetings per year (usually held on the last Monday of the month, 6 pm – 8 pm) and to offer relevant support and specialist knowledge to enable us to meet the objectives of our business.
The post is not paid but all Trustees receive invitations to special events and have a weekly allocation of free cinema tickets (subject to availability).

As part of our strategic priorities, RollaDome All Skate is currently seeking, detail-oriented, reliable, friendly Clubs Administrator to join our growing team. You will be expected to deliver a high-quality experience to our members and visitors in a friendly yet professional manner at all times.
Front of House:
· Meet and greet members, visitors to the Clubs and attend to their requirements as needed.
· Deal with all general membership enquiries, including booking issues, registration information and bookings.

· Keep members informed in relation to any rescheduling, delays, or changes to planed club events and activities.

Volunteer Role Description
Connection Support provides a breadth of specialist support services to a range of people facing complex life challenges. The support covers housing support, homelessness, isolation, money management, mental health and drug and alcohol abuse. Often service users have multiple issues which means our work with them is all encompassing.
Volunteer Befriender/supporter
Role Summary: To provide continuation of support for a defined period following closure of clients from our mental health services in Oxfordshire. This is where the client has expressed a need for ongoing support but the planned tasks with the support worker have been completed. Volunteers will provide a range of support including an agreed programme of telephone contact, support and attending appointments with clients, and other tasks relevant to that individual’s needs. This may include helping to develop and maintain social networks which for many were negatively impacted by the pandemic.
Outline of Duties:
- To assist clients to meet their support needs, including:
- Supporting clients for a period of time and regularity based on mutual agreement, at times and locations that meet clients’ needs
- Providing information and assistance to clients to enable them to develop their social network and participate in the community
- To provide company and friendship, assist with shopping, go for a walk, and share activities of common interest – anything which makes life more enjoyable.
- Support to manage appointments including attendance with clients where appropriate.
