About the role

Ubuntu Pathways is seeking a proactive, organised, and mission-driven intern to join our close-knit London office to assist in organising and facilitating our upcoming office move. This role will report to the Fundraising & Operations Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to contribute meaningfully to Ubuntu’s impact in Gqeberha, South Africa, while gaining valuable experience in global fundraising and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting digitisation and organisation of donor files

• Preparing the office for relocation (clearing, packing, labelling)

• Conducting donor and grant prospect research

• Supporting marketing and social media activities

• Preparing and filing Gift Aid documentation

• Assisting with general office admin and supplies

• Helping with event prep — sponsorship and auction support

• General upkeep — inventory, shredding, basement tasks

About Victory Afghanistan

Victory Afghanistan is a Chicago-registered nonprofit dedicated to providing education and mentorship to Afghan girls and young women who have been banned from attending school. We currently support over 800 students through six levels of English instruction and three mentoring pathways:

1. Online Higher Education – Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees through remote universities.

2. Offline Higher Education – Scholarships and sponsorships abroad.

3. Online Work & Internships – Virtual career and internship opportunities.

About the Role

We are now recruiting a Volunteer Higher Education Pathway Manager to lead and expand our Online Higher Education stream. This is a volunteer leadership position that requires drive, moxie, ambition, and daring, a chance to test your skills and your character while doing something that truly matters.

You’ll step into an existing structure with full guidance from the previous manager, so you won’t be starting from zero. Your goal will be to identify and secure online higher education opportunities for Afghan women who cannot leave the country,  whether through university partnerships, scholarships, sponsorships, or donated course placements.

You’ll also guide 3 Project Coordinators (who are students in our academy) and work closely with the Operations Manager to help deliver tangible outcomes.

This is a role for someone who gets things done. It’s fine if you make mistakes,  what matters is consistency, initiative, and a willingness to keep pushing forward. We’re looking for someone who thrives under responsibility and believes in turning ideas into action.

Key Responsibilities

• Build partnerships with universities, organisations, and institutions offering online higher education opportunities.

• Identify and coordinate scholarship, sponsorship, or course placement options for students.

• Lead and mentor three Project Coordinators who support the Pathway Programme.

• Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and other 2 Pathway Managers to achieve shared targets for 2026.

This role is part of our mission to secure opportunities for Afghan women by September 2026. We are working towards:

• Enrolling several students in Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees online,

• Securing scholarships and sponsorships for higher education placements abroad, and

• Helping more students access paid remote work and internships.

So far, one of our students has earned a scholarship to study abroad, and we aim to make this just the beginning.

SEED Madagascar is seeking a Pro Bono PR & Media Consultant to expand the organisation’s international visibility and amplify awareness of the challenges and opportunities facing communities in Madagascar. This role will focus on securing high-profile media coverage, cultivating relationships with journalists, and identifying opportunities for SEED’s voice to be featured internationally. We are looking for an experienced PR professional with existing contacts and proven expertise in media outreach who is motivated to use their skills to contribute to sustainable development and conservation. About the organisation SEED Madagascar is a British Charity working in partnership with communities in the southeast of Madagascar. The Position

We are looking for a Grants Officer who can support us with diverse tasks that include looking for grants opportunities, project development, proposals writing, and liaising with potential partners and donors. In this role you’ll be a key contributor to the continued existence of Second Tree, which is dependent on grants to survive, and to the creation of new projects and partnerships. To do this successfully, you'll need to employ meticulous time-management and organisation skills, as juggling multiple tasks with competing deadlines is common in this role.

The role will include:

• Researching and identifying new grant opportunities on a weekly basis

• Summarising relevant grant opportunities and suggesting how to best respond and comply with them

• Researching information and data necessary for grants and grant reporting

• Supporting the design of new projects

• Supporting with proposal writing

• Maintaining necessary records, files, reports, databases, and resource materials for the Grants team

• Working with the wider Second Tree team to ensure that all project proposals align with organisational, and programme strategies

• Establishing and maintaining connections with funding bodies

You should be able to:

• Professionally communicate in English (verbally and in writing)

• Read, comprehend, interpret, summarise and follow proposal guidelines

• Work to tight deadlines with flexibility and a problem-solving attitude;

• Conduct thorough, high-quality, independent research

• Work both independently and as part of a team

• Manage and prioritise projects effectively to meet team and proposal deadlines

The ideal candidate will have:

• Working knowledge of project management techniques such as LFA

• Knowledge of and experience with grant-giving bodies and other external funding sources (e.g. European Commission)

• A strong sense of logic while building an argument
