About us:
Are you passionate about financial capability? Join us to develop knowledge, resources and tools that are accessible to all!
At The London Foundation for Banking & Finance (LFBF), our story began in 1879 when a group of visionary bank workers set out to elevate professional standards and leadership in the industry. Over the years, we became a recognised leader in financial services education, offering industry-leading qualifications and setting the gold standard for professional competency.
In 2023 we entered an exciting new chapter as an independent charity, revitalising and refocusing our mission to improve financial capability and empower professionals in the sector. In 2025 we published a new external strategy with our social impact metrics which will lead to our 150 year anniversary in 2029. You will work with young people on a 1:1 basis, with parent/carers during assessment, and group work. You will undertake holistic assessments, and hold a caseload providing outcome focussed interventions that support resilience and emotional wellbeing. In addition you will be knowledgeable about the wider health determinants which impact on ACH communities and barriers for children, young people and young adults achieving positive outcomes. You will be a warm, empathic individual with an ability to relate to young people and work as part of a team.
