Job description

Job Summary

The IT Support Manager is responsible for the day to day running and management of the delivery and support of IT services within LST.  The postholder will be responsible for ensuring high customer satisfaction, ITIL service based delivery and assisting the Director of IT and AV with infrastructure projects.  They will also be responsible for the effective line management of the IT Support Engineer.

Key Tasks

The following key tasks are indicative of the role, rather than exhaustive, and tasks may be amended in response to changing requirements or in line with the skills and experience of the post-holder:

• Responsibility as the escalation point of contact for employees seeking assistance with computer, printers and projectors issues and other IT systems issues, advising of possible solutions or continuing the escalation process

• Manage LST’s ticketing system in accordance with ITIL Foundation standards

• Implement ITIL based service delivery

• Monitor the LST IT infrastructure using LST’s monitoring and alerting systems
