The Role
We are looking for a compassionate, non-judgemental and empathetic individual who is experienced at supporting individuals in a Wellbeing role to co-deliver the Wellbeing Conversations Service. Young Marketeers
This much-loved programme was started in London in 2012. It is now running in 16 cities across England. We have been commissioned to deliver the programme in Knowsley by Knowsley Public Health. The programme provides hands-on opportunities for children from primary schools to grow fruit and veg from seed to sell at their local market. Young Marketeers is also a platform for School Food Matters to promote food education to schools and communities as a way to support children to live happy and healthy lives. Children learn the art of growing veg from seed, and market traders will share their secrets on how to create a winning market stall. Primary schools will be visited by our gardener in March/April and then again in May/June and receive further tips on how to ensure a bumper crop. Then in July, they head to the market to sell their produce, and to meet the Mayor!
Key Tasks include:
· Assist with recruitment of five schools to take part in Young Marketeers

World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK.STEP aims to support and empower people through a tailored employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that they face when preparing for and ultimately finding work in the UK.
We support all people who have experienced forced migration, regardless of their proximity to the labour market, to develop the skills and access the opportunities they need to secure sustainable and meaningful employment. We run STEP online and in person programmes across the UK.
We have now expanded our work to deliver (in partnership with the British Council) an English Language and Employment Support Programme for up to 4,000 Ukrainians and Hong Kong BNO status/visa holders (50% of each community) over the next 12 months.
We are recruiting Ukrainian speaking Employment Advisors to join the STEP team delivering this new programme. You will provide high quality advice and guidance through 1:1 employability support and group employability workshops with the aim of coaching individuals and supporting them on their journey into employment that suits their previous experience and skill set.

Purpose of job
The postholder will lead, develop and motivate a team of support practitioners to ensure that immediate
pastoral resettlement support packages are developed and delivered to meet the specific individual
needs of each tenant, which ultimately facilitates their moving towards living with a greater
independence.
To take overall responsibility for the successful running of the support service as agreed. In line with the
requirements of our regulatory bodies and company policies and procedures. To promote and ensure
high standards of support and involvement opportunities for our tenants.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support, guidance and training to support team to ensure they are equipped with the
tools and skills to deliver high quality support and involvement programmes in their area. This
includes ensuring that ACH’s internal quality framework for Involvement best practice, and
relevant policies and procedures are followed. Train support team in Support Processes to ensure
that Support Plans, Risk Assessments, Reviews, Exit Interviews are carried out within the required
time frames. Carry out monthly one to one’s with staff and coordinate weekly staff meetings.
To line manage staff team and act as the first point of contact and to effectively manage, supervise
and develop the support staff and any apprentices or volunteers.
Support the Housing Team in receiving the new referral and these being processed to ensure
empty rooms are let. Work with the Housing Team to ensure that tenants are aware of their
responsibilities regarding rent payments and licence agreements.
Work with other teams such as NCS and HIMILO to maintain effective internal referral procedures
for tenants to engage with wider ACH/HIMILO services.
To maintain an excellent standard of safeguarding practice and awareness throughout the service
and staff team and to support staff on safeguarding issues. Working in line with ACH’s
Safeguarding Policy to follow up any safeguarding related issues and ensure they are dealt with
effectively with appropriate referrals to safeguarding boards, local authorities social services and
where necessary the Police.
To provide and seek training, support and guidance for staff and to implement staff training
programmes. Ensuring all staff have completed any mandatory training and any training specific
to service delivery. Ensure that staff maintain Continuing Professional Development logs that
record trainings undertaken.
Monitor support service ensuring that support plans and risk assessments are reviewed, evaluated
and updated regularly. To ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard and clear and
concise records are maintained.
Regular monitoring of Salesforce CRM, making use of data reports to ensure that support
outcomes are being reached. Carrying out quality audits of support service and report findings to
management and make recommendations for service improvements. To ensure best practice
through internal auditing and self-monitoring.
Provide regular information and reports for Committee and other stakeholders in order to
demonstrate the impact of activities and outcomes achieved by the support team.
Recruit, manage and motivate employees within the team, ensuring they are trained in the
performance of their duties and appraised of their performance; organise, supervise and monitor
their performance, thereby ensuring the provision of efficient, effective and high quality services.
Dealing with all personnel issues in conjunction with the HR Manager as necessary. Maintain
personal records on the HR database, manage holiday requests.
Represent ACH professionally to external stakeholders.
To work with the Head of Support to ensure effective administrative systems and procedures
relating to the effective running of the support service are in place.
Manage designated caseload to a high standard keeping accurate records in CRM.
If department is OISC registered maintain high quality case management system in line with OISC
Code of Standards.

THE ROLE:
We are looking for an experienced and creative Development Producer, to provide development support for and oversee development projects on our growing development slate.
The Development producer will help manage the ideas that are submitted to the development fund, prepare and take part in editorial meetings, and build relationships with production companies that are serviced by Climate Spring, and help form new working relationships within the industry.
The development producer will assist the Head of Unscripted in preparing and delivering creative sessions to production companies and stakeholders. They will also help manage our unscripted contacts and prepare for community-building events with unscripted labels and talent.
You have a track record working on or developing unscripted formats a have good eye for commercially viable ideas for broadcasters streamers and online. A knowledge or experience with ad-funded content, whilst not essential, could be helpful.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project managing funded TV development projects. This involves having regular meetings with production companies, industry bodies and experts.

Working with the head of unscripted to prepare for editorial and funding meetings.

Contributing to the editorial decisions made by Climate Spring

Attending meetings with production companies – remotely and occasionally in person.

Building relationships with development teams at different production companies

Working with the head of development and other stakeholders to create new IP with strong climate narratives.

MINIMUM ROLE CRITERIA:

Min 5 years working in content Production/development. This is not an entry level role, a strong editorial background is required.

Team Leader (Mental Health) – Talking Spaces Service
Location: Birmingham
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £28,982 per annum
The Talking Space service operates from 1pm to 9pm four days a week throughout the year.
We operate one of our Talking Space services in the vibrant Jewellery Quarter, close to the city centre. Our Talking Space service provides a safe and welcoming environment for individuals aged 18+ living in Birmingham or Solihull who are experiencing emotional distress or a mental health crisis. We offer 1-to-1 appointments and drop-in support across four sites in the city (Selly Oak, Erdington, Jewellery Quarter, and Northfield). We actively listen and offer a range of referral and signposting options.
The service functions as an alternative to A&E as part of the urgent care pathway.
We now have an exciting opportunity for an empathetic and experienced leader to join our team and support the effective delivery of the Talking Space service, with a particular focus on young adults aged 18–25. You will develop engaging activities and groups that appeal to young people, helping them reach their full potential. With strong knowledge of mental wellbeing, you will work confidently within confidentiality frameworks and ensure accurate completion of all relevant documentation.
You will communicate in a style appropriate to your audience, demonstrating compassion and a non-judgmental approach toward individuals experiencing psychological distress. As Team Leader, you will provide support and supervision to the staff team, identify training needs, and complete annual appraisals. You will feel confident challenging discriminatory or disrespectful behaviour while maintaining high standards and ensuring the team upholds the same level of quality.
You may occasionally be required to work across all Talking Space sites.
We are also exploring opportunities to extend our service to support young people aged 16–18 soon.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of safeguarding practices, along with a positive attitude toward individuals experiencing mental health difficulties. You will have experience working with confidential, sensitive information in line with GDPR principles.

You will be IT literate and able to ensure all documentation is accurately recorded on our bespoke systems.
