Job Title:          Corporate Fundraising Manager

Salary:£35,392 - £42,618 (depending on experience)

Base:Manchester, all roles are office based however there is some opportunity for occasional working from home

We are looking for a creative, dynamic and adaptable corporate fundraising manager with a minimum of three years’ experience or relevant sales experience to develop and deliver a successful corporate fundraising strategy. You will need to have strong interpersonal skills and significant  experience of delivering pitches and securing new business, coupled with demonstrable success of securing sponsorship and commercial participation opportunities.

You will have a natural flair and genuine passion for corporate fundraising, be a terrific storyteller with  exceptional communication skills to bring this unique world leading cancer centre alive for businesses in an engaging and purposeful way. . Most of all, we are looking for someone whose enthusiasm, innovation and ambition  will match those of the Charity. . As part of a supportive and committed team, you  will be professional in your approach and provide an excellent standard of service for our charity supporters.

The Charity team is responsible for raising millions of pounds each year to ensure Christie patients receive gold standard care and treatment. This includes everything from access to world first clinical trials and receiving radiotherapy in state-of-the-art treatment centres to young adults being cared for in a bespoke age-appropriate centre and being able to offer patients anxiety reducing complementary therapy, or even creative sessions in our art room.

Battersea is here for every dog and cat, and has been since 1860. We are seeking a Volunteer Services Manager to provide leadership, guidance and development to this Volunteering Team and act as an ambassador for volunteering across all Battersea centres and externally. Avon Wildlife Trust are looking for a Head of People and Resources to shape the development of our workforce and ensure that our staff and volunteers have everything they need to fulfil their roles.

Overall Purpose of Job :
To manage the people and resources operations of the Trust, ensuring that our staff, volunteers and Trustees are supported by the systems, facilities and culture they need to fulfil their roles safely, effectively and inclusively.

Main Responsibilities :

• Develop our HR systems to attract, support, develop and retain talented people, including leading our systems and culture around equality, diversity and inclusion, performance management, volunteering, learning and development and internal communications. 

• Provide oversight and supervision of the Trust’s buildings, operational facilities, vehicles and other shared assets, ensuring that our people have the facilities and equipment they need to fulfil their roles. This includes the landlord responsibilities associated with Folly Farm Centre.

• Support the effective governance of the Trust and the operations of the Board, including organising and supporting meetings, co-ordinating our annual report and AGM and managing the recruitment process for new Trustees.

Join Dementia UK as a Gift Processing Officer helping to establish an excellent level of financial processing that will underpin the growth in fundraising activity across a range of income streams.

Working within the supporter care team you will be responsible for processing a high volume of donations. You will ensure that that all processing is accurate and timely in order to provide an excellent supporter experience for all Dementia UK donors & supporters. Reporting to the Supporter Care Manager, the Gift Processing Officer will handle post, cheques, cash and charity vouchers, working carefully with our database to record income and thank all supporters who give to Dementia UK.

The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in database management, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and strong numeracy skills. You will have high computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel. You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to prioritise own workload and adapt to changing demands in a busy environment.

Job Title:             Hackney Service Delivery Manager 

Salary: £32,000 per annum (FTE)

About us at the NCT

A lot of people know NCT for our antenatal classes, and we want to continue to support as many parents and families as we can to access evidence-based information. But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers and peers. And we support women and families facing specific challenges, such as social isolation, feeding difficulties or poor mental health.

Our Hackney Parent Support project is commissioned by Hackney Council, to offer infant feeding support across the region in both community and hospital settings and parenting courses for families throughout the Hackney region. The support is delivered by staff and volunteer peer supporters.

We are seeking a capable NCT Perinatal Service Delivery Manager who is passionate about supporting parents and infant feeding to lead on this project.  This role is home-based but will include travel across the Hackney region (expenses will be reimbursed).

About the role

You will be responsible for managing the parent support project in its entirety across the region. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

• Leading on perinatal peer support across the region.
• Managing the project staff team.
• Having a good working knowledge and understanding of the local demographics in the Hackney area and ensuring all services are accessible and inclusive.
• Engaging with communities through networking with other local organisations.
• Report progress on project status, timelines and delivery against key performance indicators.
• Participate in local perinatal networking/task and finish projects, so that the programme is an integral part of the local perinatal and infant feeding provision landscape, and is able to advocate for and chaperone perinatal service users at a strategic level, raising the profile of NCT’s perinatal offer locally and nationally.

You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily. This is a large project and covers multiple locations so you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently.

Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our commissioners, staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.
 
It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. This requires breastfeeding experience of at least 3 months. The training can be undertaken within your working hours. There will also be training on the EPEC (Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities course) provided by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

The role is 28-35 hours per week which will be predominantly Monday to Friday within the working day, however, will include occasional evening and weekends. This is a home-based role, however travel across Hackney will be required.

You will be part of a wider Volunteering team responsible for developing our approach to volunteering and engaging stakeholders and partners through local events, shows, talks etc.

We currently involve approximately 500 volunteers who help raise funds and awareness of RABI within local communities.  Most of our volunteers are linked to one of our 40 county committees across England & Wales.

You will take the lead for volunteering across a range of projects including the development and implementation of new volunteering systems and processes and the piloting of a new volunteer ambassador programme.  The role also includes the line management of the Volunteering Projects Co-ordinator. 

Key responsibilities:

Volunteering systems & processes

• As the lead ‘subject matter expert’ for volunteering, you will lead on the implementation of new volunteering systems & processes across RABI.  This includes making decisions to support system development, testing, communications and training for users.
• Work closely with the National Volunteering Manager and the team of Regional Managers, to ensure they are equipped and supported to make best use of the new systems. 
• Work with the Head of Volunteering and Volunteering Projects Co-ordinator to ensure the appropriate processes and policies are in place to support good practice and an accessible and inclusive volunteering experience.
• Lead on the evaluation of new systems & processes for volunteering and agree clear recommendations / priorities for future development.

Diversify and expand volunteer offer

• Lead on development and implementation of new volunteer roles – including the introduction of community and corporate ambassadors.
• Work with a range of stakeholders to clarify priorities for future development for new types of volunteering – from flexible, micro roles, to more formal roles such as volunteer ambassadors. 
• Develop and agree approach to volunteer recruitment, engagement and development – to support ambassadors and other roles.
• Put in place a clear development plan for ambassadors – including opportunities to come together, collaborate on future content and training etc.
• Manage and evaluate pilots – gathering evidence to inform future development. 
  

Volunteer learning and development

• Understand volunteer learning and training needs and organisational requirements to inform future development. 
• Lead the introduction of new learning systems, volunteer portal and content to support volunteer training and development – to ensure volunteers feel supported and we are meeting appropriate safe and legal obligations.
  

Volunteer communications and recognition

• Work with Head of Volunteering to improve volunteer communication – including volunteer forums and newsletters. 
• Lead on improvements to informal and formal recognition of RABI volunteers / county committees – including introduction of long service awards and involvement in national initiatives such as Volunteers Week and Big Help Out.

Team management and leadership

• Work closely with the Head of Volunteering, National Volunteering and Senior Regional Managers to set direction, make decisions and engage the wider team.
• Manage the Volunteering Projects Co-ordinator, setting clear goals and supporting their development.
• Work with the wider Volunteering team and other departments, to support and embed the volunteer journey and good practice in volunteer management.

Essential

• Affinity, understanding and demonstration of the goals and objectives of RABI.

Our client, a leading London university, is looking to appoint a temporary Research Information Management System (RIMS) Developer , to support the development of their RIMS, Pure.

This is a part time role, 1 - 2 days per week, running for 3 months in the first instance. This role would be fully remote.

This position would not include any web development, but would be working to support the configuration of the system and liaise with a web development agency, as well as the Pure provider (Elsevier). You will also be required to integrate Pure with the University's website, and provide support to the IT department where necessary.

Experience in Pure is preferred, but experience in any Higher Education research management systems (Information Services/libraries etc) would be suitable.

The salary range for this role in the U.S. is $102, 500 - $189, 600 (USD). The final offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set and level of experience.

Conservation Collective (CC) funds solutions to protect the environment, restore nature, and safeguard against climate change. The CC UK charity incubates, launches, and supports locally focused foundations, which open new funding channels to support the most impactful environmental grassroots projects. Our network comprises 20 members based all over the world and is growing.

We manage and monitor our donor relations, grant giving governance, contacts, and event activities, via a bespoke and customised salesforce system. This was launched in September 2021, and has been developed and configured to meet our growing needs since then. As the demand for our model increases around the world, we need a highly capable systems specialist to support us to ensure our data systems are well managed, users are trained, and we can create accurate reports for our donors and other audiences. The role will report to the Finance Director and will work closely with the rest of the team. Key Responsibilities:

 Oversee Salesforce System: maintenance, training, development, and reporting

 Maintenance

· Ensure key objects on Salesforce such as accounts, contacts, campaigns and grants are working effectively (ensure process flows work well).

· Maintain reliable records in all objects on Salesforce by eliminating duplicates monthly, processing user deletion requests and updating records for lists with up-to-date information on key stakeholders (e.g. trustees, contractors etc).

· Weekly data back-ups.

· Uploading ad-hoc batch data from Campaigns e.g. Just Giving or historical data into Opportunities.

· Ensure regular data cleaning to enhance the credibility and adoption of the system. Spot trends with issues and feedback into system development or training.

· Oversee data governance log: maintaining log of changes to review with the team, discussing effect on budget and system usage to inform decision making.

 Training and support

· Oversee user set ups, create new user profiles, and share best practices according to GDPR practices.

· Oversee smooth onboarding and training process for new members to ensure effective adoption.

· Keep training materials related to key objects updated, host internal webinars to address new feature introductions or common issues to troubleshoot.

· Promptly troubleshoot any user issues and feeding these into training to prevent it happening again.

· Respond to individual questions from users on Slack and share tips and tricks.

 Automations and Development

· Manage the integration of Form Assembly, ensuring all connectors work well and troubleshoot and update individual forms when needed.

· Support users with the building of individual Form Assembly forms, updating when needed (ad hoc) and embedding them in their websites.

· Perform developments such as creating new fields, updating picklist values, page layouts, forms, automation configuration, formula fields, and other content. Work with core team to assess where a development is foundation specific, and where it should be applied across all users.

· Act as key point of contact with our external Salesforce consultants on any requests of flow maintenance or improvements and monitoring effective use of credits and budgets.

 Reporting

· Build reports and dashboards for each key Object – spot trends and suggest improvements.

o Opportunities - pipeline and income reports for board meetings

o Grants - tracker and applications analysis, extraction of impact data for evaluation purposes

· Provide quarterly diagnoses of user adoption levels across the network.

· Work with exec director to prepare quarterly data for trustee meeting and annual reports.

Manage IT systems with the support of an outsourced consultant

 · Act as a key point of contact with our outsourced IT company, overseeing the creation of new users and managing the leavers’ processes.

• Ensure MS365 systems are working effectively for current users, and troubleshoot issues as a first point of contact before liaising with outsourced providers.

· Maintain an up to date ‘how to guide’ for our intranet, ensuring all users know how to use it and find what they need.

· Procure IT equipment for team with support of external consultant.

· Maintain an up-to-date list of active users, MS 365 licenses and Antivirus license protection.

The Role

As Head of IS and Data Management you will be responsible for implementing our IS and Data Strategy and driving efficiency using technology across Sanctuary.
