You will be an integral part of a busy, professional and customer service focused Information and Communication Technology (ICT) team, with a strong culture of providing tools for staff to do their job well and to optimise business processes. You will also work closely with fundraising and communications colleagues to develop and support the public CMS website.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in web technology and in the development of secure web-based database systems using PHP – together with MSSQL Server/MySQL/MariaDB databases. You will also have recent experience of managing and developing websites using WordPress. You will be able to demonstrate your skills with a variety of web and database technologies as well as show your ability to learn new technologies as required. You will need to be patient, calm and approachable, as well as a good team worker.

The ideal candidate will be hardworking, eager to learn, and have hands-on experience in workplace IT support. You will work closely with the IT Manager to maintain and enhance the hardware, software, and systems that keep our charity running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver timely technical support to end users via phone, email, remote tools, and in person.
· Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues efficiently.
· Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
· Provide support for Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and line-of-business applications.
· Administer and troubleshoot VoIP telephony systems, with familiarity in SIP phone systems.
· Manage user accounts, permissions, and security groups within Entra AD and work within the Azure environment.
· Track IT support tickets, documenting resolutions and any remedial actions taken.
· Assist in maintaining and upgrading IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, desktops, laptops, and other equipment.
· Perform regular system maintenance as directed by the IT Manager.
· Maintain accurate documentation, including Asset Registers, IT Policies, and Departmental Workflows.
· Provide out-of-hours support during agreed periods.
· Undertake any other reasonable responsibilities as required by the IT Manager.

Skills and Experience
· Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
· Previous experience in a technical support/helpdesk role.
· Hands-on experience with VoIP systems (setup, support, troubleshooting).
· Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
· Understanding of networking concepts (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP).
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first approach.

Finance Manager
We are seeking a Finance Manager to join the growing Reaching Higher team and bring our finance function fully in-house. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented professional who will play a pivotal role in ensuring strong financial systems, accurate reporting, and sound financial planning. Purpose of this Role
Our finance functions are currently partially outsourced to an external contractor. Our income has grown significantly over the past five years and our Board have now decided to employ a Finance Manager and bring financial expertise in-house. In this new position as the Finance Manager at Reaching Higher, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and planning, payroll and pension management, and financial governance and compliance. You will support all aspects of Reaching Higher’s work and development through ensuring strong financial systems.
You will work closely with our team to ensure that all day-to-day finance requirements are met, including accurate grant finance monitoring and reporting to multiple funders. You will also work closely with our senior leaders and board to build the charity’s financial resilience and the financial awareness of our wider team.
You will work closely with the Executive Assistant & Administrator and report to the Executive Director, as well as working closely with the Executive Team, Treasurer and wider Board.
