About the role:

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Thames Valley Care Team.

Reporting to the Family Support Manager of the Thames Valley Care Team and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child/young person has a life threatening or terminal illness.

Having worked in a stressful and emotional environment you have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and helping people; and having provided bereavement support to families, you understand processes of grief, loss and change - and how best to help others deal with its impact.

This role covers Thames Valley and surrounding areas. The role does require travel, however you have the freedom to plan your own diary around the demands of both the families you are working with, your team, and also any personal appointments you may need to attend.

Job Title: Individual Giving Manager Department: Income Generation and Partnership Development

To develop and deliver an Earthwatch individual giving programme. The role will focus on identifying opportunities to engage supporters, implementing activities to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors, and increasing financial contributions from new and existing supporters. Key deliverables:

Strategy & Income Growth

• Develop and implement a multi-year individual giving strategy, including regular giving, one-off donations and legacy giving

• Set and monitor income and engagement targets, using data insights to refine and improve approaches. 

Campaigns & Appeals

• To project manage multiple appeals delivering accurate campaigns across digital, print, and telephone on time, to inspire and convert supporters, on budget to a high standard and meeting agreed targets.

• To manage the relationship with external fundraising agencies, ensuring they are briefed and provided with the information they need.

• Collaborate with the communications team to ensure campaigns align with brand and messaging guidelines.

• Undertaking all activities in line with best practice standards and processes as set out by the Institute of Fundraising, Fundraising Regulator and any other bodies as prompted by the Director. 

Donor Engagement & Stewardship

• Deliver high-quality donor communications, including impact reports, appeals, and tailored updates.

Data Management & Reporting

• Ensure all materials produced are accurate and compliant with relevant data protection and gift aid legislation (where applicable).

• Coordinate the delivery of Clinks’ annual programme of events and training, working with colleagues across the organisation to ensure a consistent, high-quality offer. 

• Manage the full event lifecycle, including planning, logistics, speaker and facilitator liaison, registration, delivery support and follow-up.

The Role of Diocesan Housing Surveyor

We are looking for someone who can work alongside the Diocesan Property Manager, and Property Officer, to assist in the management of the Clergy Housing stock comprising of 160 houses across Coventry and Warwickshire.

The main responsibilities of the of Diocesan Housing Surveyor

 are:

• Inspect Clergy houses and assess repairs and improvements necessary in compliance with Coventry Diocese Clergy Housing Standards.
• Implement the recommendations of the property reports.
• Arrange property inspections and implement the required works with the agreement of the Property Manager.
• Arrange stock condition surveys.
• Address reactive repairs and ensure works are undertaken and completed in accordance with the Housing Standards.
• Prepare schedules of work and cost budgets, agree these with the Property Manager before tendering to approved contractors.

What we are looking for in a Diocesan Housing Surveyor:

· Driving Licence with access to own car

· Previous experience of managing small works contracts

· Working knowledge of residential building defects and their resolution

· Proven awareness of health and safety with regard to building management and works contracts.

· Being responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of properties whilst remaining within budgetary and time constraints

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team in a dual-role capacity, supporting two vital services run in partnership with Homeless Oxfordshire and Connection Support. The role covers both our Step Down provision—designed for individuals discharged from hospital under the Discharge to Assess model—and our service at Mawle Court, which provides temporary accommodation and support for people with complex needs, including those preparing for more independent living or in need of emergency provision. You will lead on the case management of clients with complex needs, working collaboratively with partner agencies to develop and implement holistic, individualised support and move-on plans. We’re looking for an Individual Giving Manager (9-month maternity cover) to achieve BMS’ fundraising strategy and goals by stimulating new and repeat donations from individual givers and leading creative innovative fundraising campaigns. You will also lead a small team of two Individual Giving Officers (one full-time and one part-time).

The successful candidate will be a fundraiser with a track record of meeting ambitious fundraising targets. You will develop and deliver an individual giving strategy and employ a range of retention and acquisition techniques. You will manage and oversee BMS’ appeals, regular giving, major donor and community fundraising programmes.

You will quickly build excellent relationships within BMS and with supporters and have a strong commitment to outstanding supporter care. This is an important role, at a critical time in the life of the organisation, and we are looking for a strategic, professional and knowledgeable fundraiser to deliver on our strategy.

This role is a 9 month maternity contract starting early June 2026 to early March 2027. This role can be hybrid with flexibility but would need to attend the Didcot office in agreement with your line manager.
