About the role
Are you a compassionate and organised professional with a passion for improving breast cancer care in Wales?
We’re looking for a dedicated and empathetic Breast Cancer Support Officer to help deliver our Breast Cancer programme in Wales. This role is central to achieving the programme’s objectives through coordination, event planning, community outreach, and administrative support.
You’ll work closely with healthcare professionals, people living with breast cancer, and partner organisations to improve services, raise awareness, and co-create solutions that make a difference for people living with cancer.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support activities, events, and project workstreams across the Breast Cancer programme in Wales
- Provide operational support for the Secondary Breast Cancer (SBC) project, including liaising with Cancer Nurse Specialists and responding to patient feedback
- Coordinate the Bra and Prosthesis initiative, organising events and producing guidance materials with professionals across Wales
- Collaborate with breast cancer nurses and individuals with lived experience to identify gaps in support and co-produce solutions
- Develop and maintain relationships with NHS partners and healthcare professionals to support Communities of Practice
- Contribute to improvements in breast cancer patient pathways, ensuring timely and appropriate services
- Raise awareness of breast cancer in underrepresented communities
- Plan and facilitate events that support programme objectives
- Collate and manage data for reporting and impact measurement
About you

About the role:
The purpose of this role is to deliver frontline service to victims of fraud within North Wales providing immediate and on-going emotional support to victims of Fraud by providing high quality, accessible, relevant telephone, Livechat and outreach support.
Based in the Victim Help Centre, in St Asaph, North Wales and working in liaison with North Wales Police and Action Fraud. The post holder will identify and manage the victims immediate service needs and contribute towards risk assessment processes and following agreed safe contact processes and recording all contact securely.
The nature of service required will vary depending on individual circumstances and specified outcomes will be achieved through building trust and confidence with victims who will be vulnerable and have complex needs.

About the role:
This role is based in the Victim Help Centre, in St Asaph, North Wales and working in liaison with North Wales Police and other relevant agencies.
In this position you will:
- contact Victims by telephone to undertake a comprehensive needs assessment and commission a range of services to support identified needs if appropriate.
- refer victims to partner agencies and contact approved suppliers to deliver services to victims.
- direct referrals to appropriate colleagues to allocate Victim Support workers for further support.
- identify and manage the victims immediate service needs
- contribute towards risk assessment processes and following agreed safe contact processes
- record all contact securely.

As a Caseworker, you will provide trauma-informed care to individuals and families suffering from the sudden bereavement or life-altering injury of a loved one.
