We have an exciting opportunity to join our Platinum Investors in People HR Team as a HR Legal Administrator. The role will be to support the Head of People with managing the pre-litigation process from any employee tribunal claims and support with employment dispute resolution. With major UK employment changes under the Employment Rights Act 2025 to take effect from 1st January 2027 and an increase to the qualification period the HR Team must ensure they are compliant with all legal requirements. 

The successful candidate will assist the Head of People working closely with our solicitors, you will play an important part in preparing and checking legal documentation, working under pressure to meet tight legal deadlines, gathering and checking large amounts of data, preparing reports and ensuring all cases are progressing efficiently. The role will also incorporate overseeing all Subject Access Requests ensuring information is provided in a timely manner, meeting GDPR guidelines.

The candidate must be quick to learn, have strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook), be highly organised, able to pay attention to detail and be confident in speaking and corresponding with employees and management in person, over the phone and via email as this forms a major part of the job role.

The Sickle Cell Society (SCS) is the only national charity in the UK that supports and represents people affected by a sickle cell disorder. Job Purpose:

To assist the Fundraising Manager in the delivery of the Sickle Cell Society’s (SCS) Fundraising Strategy and on-going development to achieve its fundraising priorities and targets. Responsible for helping the team meet our agreed income targets for celebratory giving, challenge events, community fundraising and corporate payroll giving initiatives.; the post-holder will be keen on developing their Fundraising career and interested in expanding their use of CRM databases, data management and the production of reports for effective donor stewardship.

You will be responsible for the membership and donors’ database (Beacon) keeping up to date and reporting back on results, whilst ensuring data compliance and implementation of data. You will be highly proficient in the use of business IT systems in particular Microsoft Excel to analyse data, and you will also have at least one year’s experience, or equivalent, in producing detailed and insightful reports.

The post-holder will be a confident communicator and collaborator with proven relationship building and creative and innovative fundraising skills. You will also support the development of our fundraising communications, monitoring performance across all channels driving best practice and income growth. You will generate and develop engaging fundraising communications and be responsible for your own copywriting, including thanking our wonderful donors via the most appropriate communication channels.

About the role

The KIU Night Support Worker (Waking Nights) is responsible for providing overnight welfare, safety, and practical support to unaccompanied asylum-seeking children at the Kent Intake Unit. The role involves maintaining an active waking presence throughout the night, carrying out welfare checks, responding to immediate needs, issuing hygiene packs, and preparing refreshments in line with established procedures and safeguarding standards.

The postholder contributes to the Refugee Council’s mission by ensuring children receive safe, compassionate, and timely support during night-time hours. The role also requires flexibility to respond to fluctuating intake numbers and short-notice operational demands. The waking night shift pattern operates on a rolling rota and repeats every two weeks as showed above.

Contract and hours: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week.

Communications and Marketing Manager

The Charity

We're on a mission to help 50,000 young people aged 9-24 years increase their social mobility by 2027. We've already supported 43,000, and we need your expertise to help us to do more. Our proven programmes inspire and mentor young people to increase their fi nancial independence, social mobility and create happier, safer communities. Main Purpose of the Role (Sole Lead)

Strategy & Leadership

- Lead all communications activities, marketing, and engagement strategies.

- Monitor and evaluate strategy effectiveness with KPIs, ensuring brand consistency and report to the leadership team and Board of Trustees.

Marketing & PR

- Drive brand visibility and profi le-raising initiatives by establishing deep-rooted connections with key media influencers and journalists.

- Prepare charity spokespeople for media appearances.

- Create marketing assets that attract, engage, and retain new business.

- Social Media: Create and execute dynamic strategies to grow engagement.

Stakeholder Engagement & Events

- Draft and publish Quarterly board reports, annual reports and other documents.

- Oversee and deliver high-quality event communications.

- Plan and create engaging newsletters and appeals.

- Source and develop compelling stories from stakeholders.

Digital Campaigns & Management

- Website: Develop and update produce high-quality, engaging content.

- Create SEO Strategy, tracking performance and updating website content.

Skills Required

- Ability to think strategically, manage goals, and develop and implement Communications and Marketing strategies.

- Creative fl air and strong communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to draft high-quality documents for a range of audiences

- Strong interpersonal and infl uencing skills, with the ability to form positive relationships at board level and people from a range of backgrounds

- Enthusiastic and self-driven, able to think quickly, plan and act independently
