Job description

Family Rights Group is looking for a skilled, fast-paced and flexible Programme Administrator to support the smooth running of our Family Group Conference (FGC) and Lifelong Links programme. You will provide executive administrative support to the Director of Children’s Social Care, as well as across other senior roles, and in line with the national scale-up of FGCs and Lifelong Links.

The creation of this role comes at an exciting time for the charity, as we have recently secured significant investment to scale up this programme nationally.

You will report directly to the charity's Director of Children’s Social Care, while working across the wider team to provide administrative support, manage programme records, and support monitoring and evaluation activity.

An experienced administrator and/or project professional, you will have the initiative to work independently on administrative workstreams, knowing when and how to seek input and approval. You must be able to work under pressure at times and handle a wide variety of activities. You will need to step in to fill gaps in the programme delivery, cover absence and perform a variety of tasks and functions, as required by the Director and senior roles.

Family Rights Group’s vision is a society in which families can thrive and all children have loving relationships to turn to throughout life.

Our mission is to ensure that the child welfare and family justice system support children to live safely and thrive within their family, while strengthening the family and community ties of those children who cannot live at home.

Founded in 1974, our work combines commitment to human rights and social justice with expertise in child welfare law, policy and practice.

We are seeking a highly organised and competent Programme Administrator to provide administrative support across Family Rights Group's Family Group Conference (FGC) and Lifelong Links programme, ensuring smooth day-to-day coordination of programme activities, records and communications.

The role will be ideally suited to someone who is organised, flexible, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, values-based environment. The post-holder will be a proactive team player, have excellent administrative skills and experience of supporting programme or project delivery.
