• You’ll use your excellent written and verbal skills to support the HR Advisor and HR Lead to deliver a great HR service across the whole charity.

• You’ll use your great attention to detail to ensure letters are produced in line with our HR processes for internal staff and external candidates and that relevant processes, spreadsheets and systems updated.

• You’ll be the lead on administering compliance processes during the recruitment and onboarding process, using our HR system, collecting associated paperwork and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure good practice data collection and protection.

• You’ll bring your experience of providing great administrative support to a team, in an HR environment or other organisational context. You’ll have great attention to detail and pride in creating timely, good quality written communication.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a proactive and organised HR Administrator to join our People & Culture team at Start Network. This is a great opportunity to play a hands-on role in supporting the employee lifecycle in a purpose-driven, global organisation. Working closely with the HR Operations Specialist and wider People & Culture team, you will coordinate recruitment and onboarding, maintain accurate HR records and systems, support payroll administration, and act as a first point of contact for everyday HR queries.

The Head of HR is a new role for the organisation. Over the last few years, the organisation and our staff team have grown significantly. About the Role

As Director of People & Culture, you will lead the full breadth of the People & Culture portfolio, including workforce planning, global employee relations and compliance, payroll, pensions, benefits, recruitment, learning and development, policy development, and diversity, equity & inclusion.

We are looking for a HR Assistant to support the continuous improvement of care and services within our hospice.

About the Role

Hours per week – 22.5 hours per week

Salary - £12.27 per hour

Working closely with managers and the wider team, you will play a key role in supporting processes across the hospice. You’ll help us stay compliant, learn from feedback, and keep improving how we support our people and processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting managers in meetings and offering guidance and support through processes
• Maintaining accurate records and minutes of meetings
• Assisting with recruitment
• Supporting policy reviews and document control
• Helping coordinate training and development across the wider team
• Liaising with teams across the hospice to support process improvement initiatives

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• CIPD Level 3 qualified (minimum)
• Confident using IT systems, databases, and Microsoft Office
• Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
• A strong communicator with a collaborative approach
• Committed to the values of hospice and palliative care

Previous experience in HR, healthcare, or a regulated environment would be an advantage, but we also welcome applicants with transferable skills and a willingness to learn.

Main purpose of the role

The Human Resources Manager provides effective HR support to all employees at L'Arche Ipswich, in line with L’Arche’s identity, mission and values.

The HR Manager will:

• Lead, facilitate and organise recruitment in the community together with the Registered Manager and the Community Leader;
• Actively seek opportunities to link up and maintain good relationships with organisations such as other recruitment and voluntary agencies, career offices, churches and communities, educational establishments with a particular emphasis on promotion among young people;
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, in line with employment law, regulatory requirements, and L'Arche policies;
• Support leaders with employee relations casework;
• Submit accurate payroll data;

Key essential criteria

• Understanding and identification with the aims, mission and values of L'Arche;
• Experience of working in HR, especially employee relations casework;
• Experience of the full employee life cycle including recruitment, training, performance management;
• Experience of a similar role with lead responsibility for employment matters;
• CIPD level 5 (Associate) or equivalent;
• Highly developed IT skills including familiarity with using HR databases;
