Job description

Role Overview:
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Interim Marketing Manager role. This exciting temporary position offers the opportunity to lead critical projects, support rebranding efforts, and optimise marketing processes within a dynamic charity environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering impactful campaigns and publications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of the upcoming flagship magazine, including coordinating editorial meetings, sourcing content, and overseeing design delivery.
  • Provide constructive feedback and sign-off on design work produced internally and externally.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for integrated campaigns aligned with organisational priorities.
  • Manage the marketing planning calendar, ensuring seamless collaboration with relevant teams to optimise messaging and targeting.
  • Oversee the promotion of new organisational strategies through compelling communication materials.
  • Shape and refine project management processes across marketing and communications teams for efficiency and clarity.
  • Enable colleagues organisation-wide to deliver consistent marketing activities through the ‘hub and spoke’ model.
  • Perform additional duties as required to meet organisational needs.


Person Specification:

  • Proven experience managing a broad range of marketing projects and campaigns.
  • Strong ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships across all levels of an organisation.
  • Confident in creative leadership, including facilitating workshops and presenting concepts.
  • Excellent brand management skills with the capacity to influence and negotiate.
  • Organised and adept at managing multiple projects with competing deadlines, maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience overseeing marketing budgets and optimising spend.
  • Comfortable navigating fast-paced environments and shifting priorities with professionalism and calm.
  • Demonstrates a proactive, solution-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of charity settings and understanding of their unique marketing needs is advantageous.


What’s on Offer:

  • Rate: £197.63 per day PAYE + 29.64 holiday pay
  • Location: Homebased with occasional travel
  • Contract: Initial 3 months
