About the role

Are you passionate about helping families thrive and making a genuine difference?

Coram Family Lives is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and compassionate Family Support Coordinator to provide individual and group support for families with children aged 0–5 in Kingston upon Hull.

You will provide practical and emotional support, helping parents manage the challenges of family life. You will ensure they have the information and tools to care for and interact positively with their children while supporting their own wellbeing.

You will support parents from pregnancy through early parenthood, promote positive parent–infant relationships and perinatal mental health, and help reduce stigma around these topics. You will also build parents’ confidence, support children’s learning and development at home, and help families experiencing parental conflict.

You will provide one-to-one support and engaging workshops, and help families access community activities and services, including SEND and early years provision. Your work will improve outcomes for children and strengthen family wellbeing.

You will work with Family Hub teams, early years practitioners, health professionals and community partners. You will also develop a network of volunteers to provide informal support across local communities.
