About the role
At the RSPCA Finchley Branch, we are seeking a practical and organised Branch Manager to support the delivery and development of our local animal welfare services and the oversight of our retail operations through the line management of Shop Managers.
This is a strategic role with a hands-on focus on operational delivery, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across animal welfare, retail operations through the line management of Shop Managers and volunteer activity. Working closely with Trustees, the postholder will help ensure that services are delivered effectively, safely and in line with our charitable objectives, with a clear focus on achieving positive outcomes for animals and the community.

In this role, you will
You will be responsible for the effective delivery of animal welfare outcomes across the branch, ensuring animals are safely supported from intake through to rehoming, while also supporting the RSPCA Inspectorate. About the Role
We are looking for a Faculties Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Faculties Development Manager you will support the governance, projects and activities behind our six fantastic Faculties. You will work alongside world leading surgeons and healthcare professionals from across the UK and beyond, helping to advance education, raise professional standards and improve patient care.
No two days are the same. You will coordinate committee activity, support Faculty projects and events and brief our volunteers. You will build strong relationships with our inspiring volunteers and members and work collaboratively with colleagues from across the College to deliver an exceptional experience.
This role offers genuine opportunities for professional development. You'll gain experience in governance, project delivery, stakeholder engagement and service improvement, while developing the skills and confidence to progress within the Faculties team. The role forms part of our development pathway towards a Faculties Development Lead position.
You will join a team that enjoys collaborative working. Often, the first point of contact for our clients at the Southwark Wellbeing Hub is the Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Team – the IAG Team aim to provide support for residents who may be experiencing social-isolation, low mood, anxiety or depression. The service handles enquiries from people seeking support for a range of issues including welfare benefits, housing and homelessness, advocacy, family support, immigration, disability and legal advice in addition to accessing our in-house one-to-one mental health support offering, workshops/groups, culturally specific counselling, or housing/benefits specialists.
As an IAG Facilitator, your responsibilities include but are not limited to;
As one of two IAG Facilitators, you’ll support volunteers to ensure that the service is running efficiently. You will be in regular contact with clients both interested in and accessing the service to make sure they have adequate support. This may include referrals and signposting to additional or alternative mental health and social support services.
Applicants should have experience of providing advice in benefits and housing, managing a diverse caseload and providing advocacy, and possess effective communication skills. An ability to work independently but collaboratively, to be proactive and show initiative is essential for this role.
Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.
