As Senior Trust Fundraising Manager, your role will focus on securing five- and six-figure gifts from grant-giving trusts and foundations. You will provide exceptional stewardship to those trusts with whom we have existing relationships, whilst researching and cultivating new prospects to maximise income, value, and influence for The Children’s Trust. This role will be key in enabling us to strengthen long term financial sustainability, through multi-year funding relationships and to drive restricted and unrestricted income to realise the strategy for 2030.

Skills and Responsibilities
To develop relationships to secure gifts and grants from Corporate Foundations, Trusts and statutory grant makers to achieve income targets. Responsibilities include:
Prospect Research:
- Identify and develop a pipeline of opportunities from grant-giving trusts and foundations.
- Use internal database, online resources, desk research, and contact mapping to identify new funder opportunities.
- Review trusts’ and foundations’ funding criteria to grow the prospect pipeline.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our work and future developments to identify new funding opportunities.
Submitting grant applications:
- Create compelling and persuasive funding appeals.
- Complete grant application forms and follow application processes as required.
- Work closely with colleagues across the Directorate and the wider charity to articulate our work and build strong funding propositions.
Leadership & Relationship Management:
- Lead and manage the Trusts and Philanthropy Executive by developing skills, conducting appraisals and overseeing ongoing development.
- Lead & steward a portfolio of existing charitable trusts and foundations, and cultivate new potential donors, ensuring their support is recognised and celebrated.
- Ensure funders are thanked promptly and that grant terms and conditions are applied.
- Provide progress reports and manage all formal reporting requirements on time.
- Build relationships in person, by phone, email, or virtual meetings to secure long-term commitment.
- Identify opportunities for funders to meet key staff and attend events and site visits that strengthen their relationship with the charity.
- Implement the High Value Donor Stewardship Plan.
- Take a proactive role in developing assets such as appeals and cultivation events.
- Work with colleagues across the charity to monitor and evaluate funded projects, producing reports that demonstrate impact.
Administration and Reporting:
- Manage trust prospects and donors on the CRM database, ensuring records are accurate and compliant with fundraising regulations.
- Budget management, cost control forecasting and taking corrective action to achieve budgets.
- Use the CRM database to manage task “actions”, prioritise and evaluate opportunities, and record funder interactions.
- Manage and develop a portfolio of high value relationships.
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure grant applications are coordinated across the organisation.
Education & Qualifications:
- Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Significant experience and track record in trust fundraising.
- Experience of writing compelling proposals and appeals.
- Proven experience of working as part of a team to deliver ambitious income targets.
- Experience in undertaking prospect research and creating a pipeline of prospects through to cultivation, ask and stewardship.
- Experience of securing and managing statutory funding desirable.
- Demonstrable experience of using fundraising or relationship management databases.

The purpose of this role is to deliver FSSW’s FareChance programme, including employability learning and practical logistics sessions alongside support and collaboration with the Employability Programme Facilitator. The FareChance programme currently works with young people aged between 18 – 25 who experience additional barriers to accessing education, training, or employment. The young people are supported to learn new skills, build confidence, and realise their full potential.
FareChance provides a unique combination of two parts: the first is working alongside other volunteers and staff learning key warehouse and logistics skills, getting firsthand practical experience; the second is tailored employability sessions in small groups with 1-1 specialist support.
The Employability Programme Lead will lead on running the employability workshops. This role will provide 1-1 support for young people where required and provide signposting and referrals to other specialist services. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting people to thrive and be sensitive to the inequality and power imbalance faced by young people today. They will have experience of supporting young people to achieve their goals and can bring these skills to deliver FareChance. This role will coach as well as co-ordinate the programme whilst supporting the growth of an innovative, supportive, and caring employability pathway for people to overcome barriers and move closer to the future they deserve.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Programme Delivery

Support the Employability Programme Facilitator to deliver practical warehouse activity sessions

Working with the Operations team to ensure smooth integration of our participants and the programme into every aspect of the operation.

Lead in providing tailored programme coaching/mentoring:

Set up and monitor an action plan for each participant with realistic goals to overcome barriers they face.

Provide advice and guidance, build confidence and support participants with appropriate resources for their next steps (including CV writing and interview skills)

Programme Development

Lead on the recruitment, onboarding and offboarding of participants (currently 18–25-year-olds with possibility of expanding this range) onto the FareChance Programme.

Work with the Volunteer Team to ensure smooth transitions to and from FareChance to Volunteering where applicable.

Build a Youth Steering/Co-production group to design, deliver and evaluate the programmes.

Alongside the Head of Employability and Volunteering, support the development of the strategy for future programmes.
External partnerships and relationship building

Work with the Head of Employability and Volunteering to develop our network of statutory, charity and business partnerships to increase referral pathways into and out of the programme.

Support the fundraising team in providing updates for employability funders

On occasion, attend events or appointments to support recruitment/represent FSSW

Build a network of signposting for participants across the programme including local businesses and apprenticeship opportunities.

Reporting and Administration

Maintain quality records of all participant information, including interventions with project participants, ensuring that such data is stored within the requirements of the Data Protection Act and FSSW policies and procedures

As Fundraising Officer, you will play a key role in supporting individuals and communities to raise vital funds. You will provide warm, practical and responsive support throughout their fundraising journey — from helping them set up online fundraising pages, to answering questions, sharing their stories and celebrating their achievements. Salary
The salary for the Lettings Coordinator post is £28,793 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
About you
• Experience in lettings or allocations, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and operational requirements.
• Proven experience building successful working relationships with external partners, particularly within the housing sector.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office applications and specific business software.

Our Programme
This is an exciting time to join The Brokerage and play a vital role in rolling out our brand new Next Gen Talent Programme. Role purpose and main responsibilities
To lead our work on the Next Gen Talent Career Programme and support our other programmes helping young people (aged 16 to 25) access careers in professional services, banking, insurance and property.
Through our programmes, we help to develop young people so that they are equipped with the professional insights and skills needed for the workplace. We do this via a high-quality curriculum of events, including masterclasses, bootcamps, career coaching and mentoring that involve our corporate volunteers.
The Senior Programme Manager will take the lead on delivering the programme and outcomes across the Next Gen Talent Career Programme; whilst working in a highly collaborative and flexible way alongside our other senior programme managers, career coach and the volunteering and events manager.
Main Responsibilities

Project manage the Next Gen Talent Career Programme to ensure that participants develop the skills and knowledge needed to access professional careers in Engineering.

Manage the recruitment process for the Next Gen Talent Career Programme, including advertising the programme to our existing pool of students and wider stakeholders, managing the application and interview process.

Work with young people, corporates, funders and consortium delivery partners to develop and enhance programme delivery.

Manage the promotion and delivery of high-quality in-person and online events; facilitating sessions where necessary, working with the career coach, volunteering and events manager and freelance staff.

Develop engaging programme collateral to maintain relevance and quality, working alongside the communications team and incorporating participant feedback and sector insights

Key Purpose / WHY?
To co-ordinate and develop TuVida’s grant programmes including.
• Carers Support fund – Financial Wellbeing Service Cardiff & Vale of Glamorgan
• Short Breaks Scheme – Bridgend
• Carers Trust Grants
delivering targeted financial education, support, and direct grants for unpaid carers in financial hardship or in need
of a short break. The service aims to address both immediate financial need and support long-term financial
resilience for carers.
Key Responsibilities / WHAT?
Service Delivery
• Act as the main point of contact for all financial wellbeing and grants-related enquiries.
• Conduct research to provide up-to-date information and practical guidance to help unpaid carers maximise
their income.
• Deliver benefits checks using Money Helper tools and support carers in navigating the welfare system.
• Provide tailored financial guidance, signposting to appropriate services, and assisting carers with benefits
and grant applications.
• Plan, prepare, and chair regular grant panel meetings, ensuring a fair and transparent process.
• Communicate grant decisions to carers and arrange timely award payments.
• Actively identify, engage, and support unpaid carers, including those from seldom heard or marginalised
communities.
• Support carers in articulating their financial goals and refer them to relevant services such as the Vale
Unpaid Carers Hub, Cardiff Independent Living Service or Bridgend Carers Wellbeing Service.
Monitoring and Administration
• Maintain accurate and timely records on TuVida’s CRM system, supporting monitoring and reporting
requirements.
• Oversee the grant budget in collaboration with the finance team, ensuring monthly reconciliation and robust
tracking of expenditure.
• Contribute to contractual reporting and outcomes tracking.
Awareness and Engagement
• Promote the service across social media, online platforms, and through outreach work, with a focus on
increasing access and income maximisation for unpaid carers.
• Represent the service at events such as Young Carers Action Day, Carers Rights Day, and Carers Week,
promoting carer awareness and increasing engagement.
Service Development
• Engage with stakeholders, carers, and community partners to review and shape the development of the
service.
• Actively contribute to team meetings, supervisions, and service reviews, sharing insight to improve
outcomes for carers.
• Operate within TuVida’s policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, equality, and diversity.
