We're looking for a Welfare Manager to take charge of the welfare journey for every dog in our centre. In this pivotal role, you will drive timely, compassionate decisions through expert behavioural and veterinary rehabilitation, ensuring each dog progresses toward their forever home.
What does this role do?
As Welfare Manager, you'll:
- lead, coach and develop a small team to deliver high-quality veterinary care and behaviour modification for dogs in our care,
- act as a balanced advocate for both behavioural and veterinary needs to achieve the best outcomes for each dog,
- oversee staff and volunteer training in behaviour and dog handling, ensuring all colleagues work within SOPs, legal, and health and safety guidelines,
- develop and implement tailored behaviour modification plans for dogs with complex needs and monitor progress towards successful rehoming,
- support professional development of Behaviour Officers, Dog Welfare Assistants, and Supervisors through mentoring, assessments, and workshops,
- collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent, informed behavioural support before, during, and after rehoming.

As an accredited clinical dog behaviourist (CCAB, CAB) with extensive experience in canine behaviour and welfare; including behaviour modification, clinical assessment, and risk management, you will have proven expertise in safely handling and rehabilitating dogs across a range of breeds and behavioural profiles. With a strong track record of leading, developing, and managing high-performing teams, you will also be a skilled communicator, who is able to influence and engage a variety of audiences. Above all, you'll be passionate about rehoming, and have a commitment to the aims and objectives of Dogs Trust.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
This is a pivotal role at the heart of the College, providing confidential, high-level executive support that enables the President and CEO to focus on leading the College and delivering its strategic priorities. About You

Highly organised and adaptable, you will be skilled at managing competing priorities, coordinating complex workloads, and maintaining exceptional attention to detail. You will be a confident communicator who can build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, and take a proactive, solution-focused approach to your work.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, together with the ability to quickly learn new systems, is essential.

About this role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Individual Giving and Legacy Assistant to join the Charity team here at Alder Hey, the UK’s busiest Children’s Hospital.
This role sits within the Individual Giving and Legacy team which includes an Individual Giving Fundraiser and a Legacy and In Memory Fundraiser. The role also works closely with colleagues across the community, marketing and finance teams to deliver supporter journeys, website content, and the smooth running of fundraising campaigns.
The post-holder supports the generation of income and delivers an excellent supporter experience. They ensure supporters and enquirers receive a prompt, warm, and appropriate response at every stage of their journey with the Alder Hey Children's Charity.
The role is responsible for maintaining accurate supporter records on the Charity's CRM system (Salesforce), helping supporter administration (including Gift Aid, tribute pages, and regular giving processes), and assisting with the coordination of legacy enquiries, pledgers, and the free Will Writing service.

Additional Information

About the role
We are seeking a Research Assistant to join our team and play a crucial role in the generation of high-quality and useful evidence on effective teacher professional development. You will work alongside a team of Research Fellows, Research Assistants and the Head of Evaluation and Observational Research to design and implement academic research alongside the programmes designed and delivered by NIoT.
These roles include opportunities to contribute to research design of new research; collect quantitative and/or qualitative data; conduct quantitative and/or qualitative analyses; contribute to high-quality written outputs for academic audiences and policymakers, and other outputs to raise the impact of our research. In addition to having quantitative or mixed-methods research experience, you will be an innovative and practice-minded researcher who strives to make cutting-edge research relevant, engaging, and useful for practitioners in teacher education.
The Evaluation and Observational Research team design and conduct research into teacher training and development. These roles will work on one or both of projects into: teacher training and development, such as Initial Teacher Education, the Early Career Framework, and National Professional Qualifications; and system leadership development.
This is a hybrid role, with the requirement for in person working for a minimum of once a fortnight, occasionally this will be more due to business need. The role includes participation in our annual all-staff away day (including an overnight stay) and occasional national travel.

The Communications Assistant provides creative and administrative support across parkrun’s internal and external communications. The role contributes to the planning, production, and delivery of content that reflects parkrun’s values and engages its global community. Main responsibilities:
Content creation, storytelling, and media: Research, draft, and produce highly engaging blogs and case studies that capture the imagination of our community. We're looking for someone with experience of verging or similar church support work to provide Maternity Cover for up to 12 months. Starting in December 2026 the successful applicant will be involved with major services and events marking the Centenary of both the Cathedral and Diocese of Portsmouth.

The two Assistant Vergers and Precinct Officers (AVPOs) carry out a wide range of duties under the direction of the Head Verger and Precinct Manager. About the Role
This is a key role within a driven, talented and successful professional fundraising team, all with a genuine passion and enthusiasm for our mission to provide a second chance for cats and dogs and to rehome pets into loving, responsible homes. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage data and reporting systems and optimise processes to build and maintain long-term supporter relationships and overall income growth.
- Lead the Charity's impact, insight and fundraising infrastructure, providing evidence, systems and impact narrative to underpin fundraising and supporter experience.
- Act as the central point for collating and organising impact evidence, including stories, statistics, outcomes and need, for appeals, campaigns, individual approaches and grant applications.
- Line manage and support the Supporter Experience Coordinator and Impact and Insights Coordinator (both future roles).
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience developing and implementing fundraising systems.
- Knowledge of fundraising databases such as Harlequin, Raiser's Edge or similar, including data extraction, segmentation and reporting.
- Demonstrable experience of successful supporter relationship building, stewardship, research and fundraising operations.
- Team leadership, line management and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Feeling safe shouldn’t stop mattering when the day team goes home. At St John’s Mansions in Islington, you’ll provide a calm, consistent and reassuring presence throughout the night, helping to make sure clients feel safe, respected and supported in their home. You’ll often be the first person someone turns to if something goes wrong overnight, so the way you respond can make a real difference.
As a Night Support Assistant, you’ll take responsibility for the safe and secure running of the service during your shift. You’ll manage access to the building, complete regular patrols and health and safety checks, monitor security, respond to safeguarding concerns and emergencies, and provide a first response to clients who need help. You’ll also support emergency placements where required and make sure significant incidents, concerns and actions are recorded clearly and handed over to the day team.

At times you may be lone working, with buddy arrangements and SHP’s out-of-hours management support in place.
