Dig Deep is an award-winning international development charity working to secure clean water, safe sanitation and good hygiene for the one million people of Bomet County, Kenya - half of whom are children.

This is a new position, created at a pivotal moment for the charity. Over the last year, the combined turnover of Dig Deep and our trading subsidiary (Dig Deep Challenges) has grown by over 50%. Our impact, our partnerships and our responsibilities have grown with it. To sustain this progress well, we now need dedicated leadership across international finance and governance.

The Finance & Governance Manager will play a central role in making this work possible. By ensuring strong financial management, robust governance and clear reporting, you will help ensure every pound & Kenyan shilling is used well and every decision is well-informed.

This role is home-based and open to candidates living in the UK. You will work closely with colleagues across the UK and Kenya, with monthly travel for team meetings in the UK and occasional travel to our Kenyan office.

• International Finance: Day-to-day international financial management of the charity and trading arm, incl. procurement, timely payment of invoices and production of management accounts
• International Governance: ensuring all statutory returns and other critical governance deadlines are met and internal governance procedures are adhered to

PERSON SPECIFICATION

As education quality assurance service officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of World Physiotherapy’s education quality assurance services, including programme accreditation and CPD recognition.

You will be one of the key points of contact for World Physiotherapy education quality assurance services including physiotherapist entry level programme accreditation and continuing professional development (CPD) recognition. The position is instrumental in assisting the smooth running of World Physiotherapy education quality assurance services and supporting the work of the Head of membership, education and development, and other staff working on the education portfolio.

You will use your experience, initiative, confidence, project and organisational skills to support effective implementation of the education quality assurance services. You will support and coordinate activities and administrative tasks for the full review cycle. These include managing inquiries, processing applications, distributing materials to reviewers, organising site visits, supporting the review and reporting process, preparing documentation for committee approval, and communication with applicants about the results of the review. This will require close liaison with staff, member organisations, reviewers, board/committee members, and external stakeholders.

Duties and key responsibilities

Education quality assurance service administration

• Act as a primary point of contact for all inquiries related to education quality assurance services including physiotherapist entry level programme accreditation and CPD recognition services.
• Manage the full application process, including intake, tracking, communication with applicants, assigning reviewers, and ensuring all required documentation is complete.
• Manage the annual reporting process
• Coordinate the distribution of applications and supporting materials to reviewers, ensuring timelines and procedures are followed.
• Organise and support site visits, including scheduling, logistics, documentation, and communication with applicants and reviewers.
• Support reviewers throughout the evaluation process, including preparing materials, responding to questions, and ensuring adherence to governance requirements.
• Provide administrative support to reviewers in preparation of documentation for internal and committee consideration.
• Organise accreditation committee meetings.
• Prepare materials for committee approval and minutes of the committee meetings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to organisational standards.
• Communicate to applicants the final outcome of the quality assurance process and issue certificates
• Maintain accurate records, files, and data related to all quality assurance activities.
• Work with Head of membership, education and development to carry out activity analysis and assess ways to improve and scale up quality assurance services.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of quality assurance processes, tools, and resources.

Operational support

Manage the accreditation application and review process in the CRM (Salesforce) and CPD recognition in CEU Locker (platform currently used for the service).

Manage the data base of reviewers (eg declaration of interest, updated contact information).

Provide technical and logistical support across all education quality assurance operations for any physical or digital meetings.

Work with relevant staff to ensure that activities are set up on Teamwork® or other project management software and support their ongoing management.

Support communications activities:

• ensuring that lists of accredited programmes and approved CPD are up to date
• providing information to promote uptake of quality assurance services
• editing and formatting education quality assurance documents for house style

Liaise with different stakeholders including member organisations, regions, specialty groups and networks if necessary and as required by the Head of membership, education and development and other staff.

Maintain office systems and procedures, including data management and reporting.

Promote the image of World Physiotherapy in all activities and contribute to the overall development of the organisation undertaking any reasonable duties, as required and agreed, to support the work of World Physiotherapy.

Person specification

The education quality assurance service officer must have experience in supporting quality assurance management and administration. They must be highly organised, self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative in managing complex and competing demands from different sources.

It is expected that the individual will have a relevant degree, or equivalent professional experience in quality assurance, education administration, project coordination, or related field. Experience of working with senior staff, academics and boards/committees is essential. Experience working with reviewers, review boards or academic/quality assurance processes is an asset.

The individual must have a legal right to work in the UK.

Abianda is a London-based charity that works with young women and girls affected by criminal exploitation and violence, and the professionals who support them. We exist to ensure young women are no longer hidden in our communities and can live free from harm and abuse. Abianda is seeking an experienced and collaborative Young Women and Girls Practitioner (1:1) to work with young women and girls aged 13-25 affected by criminal exploitation and violence as part of our flagship service, the Star Project.

As the Young Women and Girls Practitioner (1:1), you will take young women and girls through a tailored programme of activities, supporting skills development and critical thinking. Job Details:

About the Role

This role provides help and support to our frontline services, to deliver an effective service by processing referrals in a timely manner, processing post and responding to miscellaneous

enquiries, delivering our social media strategy and contributing to wider engagement - particularly with children and young people.

Although we intend to appoint one person to this role, the responsibilities are divided across two service areas: 25 hours per week will support our Children and Young People's Services, and 10 hours per week will support the Lancashire Sexual Violence Service. Are you looking for a role where you can work directly with young people, make a real difference in their lives, and support them to have their voices heard at local, regional, and national levels? If so, this could be the job for you.

The National House Project (NHP) works with care-experienced young people, encouraging them to take ownership of their futures and supporting them to live connected, fulfilling lives. The approach was co-designed with young people from the outset and is centred around a group work approach. It supports young people to move into properties that become their homes, while also building strong and supportive friendship networks.

NHP supports Local Authorities to establish Local House Projects (LHPs) and to place young people at the centre of decision-making. Once an LHP is established, NHP supports staff to work with young people in inclusive ways, encouraging them to develop solutions to the challenges they face. LHPs enable young people to leave care in a planned and supported way, improve outcomes, and help staff develop relationship-based and psychologically informed ways of working.

To ensure young people are involved at every level of the organisation, each LHP elects two young people to represent them in the Care Leavers National Movement (CLNM). This forum provides a platform to hear, amplify, and act on young people’s voices. Members contribute not only to the development of their own LHP, but also to practice and policy at a national level. CLNM meets regularly, undertakes peer evaluations, hosts and delivers an annual national conference, and provides “expert user” consultancy. Members of this group also sit on the Board of Trustees as expert advisors.

We are looking for someone who is motivated, experienced in working with young people, and excited about supporting them to have their voices heard and acted upon.

Many people enter youth work or social work wanting to make a difference, but find that large organisational systems can limit their impact. At NHP, you will be able to use your energy and enthusiasm creatively, enabling young people to use their care experience to positively influence the systems that support them. You will work with CLNM and the core NHP team to ensure young people continue to drive our work at both local and national levels.

You will need a professional or academic qualification in a related field (e.g. Youth Work, Social Work, Education, or Health). Current registration with a professional body is desirable. You'll also recruit and support a team of volunteers, work closely with other maritime charities and local partners, and build strong relationships with parishes, dioceses, and port authorities.  You'll be part of a nationwide network of Stella Maris chaplains, supported through regular meetings, retreats and professional development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Visit ships regularly to meet seafarers and fishers, responding to their pastoral, practical and spiritual needs.
• Provide practical help such as transport, communication access, and emergency or crisis support.
• Offer spiritual care to Catholic seafarers and facilitate the religious needs of those from other faiths.
• Recruit, train and support Stella Maris volunteers.
• Work collaboratively with other maritime charities.
• Maintain strong relationships with local parishes, the Diocese of East Anglia, and port stakeholders such as the Harbour Master, shipping agents and welfare committees.
• Support local fundraising and awareness initiatives alongside the charity's national team.

About you

You'll be someone who takes joy in helping others.  You don't need maritime experiences, what matters most is your empathy and ability to offer pastoral support in practical ways.

You may come from a background in chaplaincy, parish ministry, community work or social care.  You'll share our commitment to upholding the dignity of every seafarer and fisher.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the work of a small psychotherapy and mental health charity 

Working alongside our office administrator and houses coordinator, you will support the Chair and Treasurer to ensure the smooth running of the finances of the organization.

This is a permanent role for the equivalent of one day a week (8 hours) hybrid working. You will be based in our office in Hampstead, London one afternoon a week (day can be negotiated), and the other hours will be worked when needed. Salary is £40,000 WTE, plus paid annual leave and pension contribution.

Key Responsibilities

Database Management (Beacon CRM – Fundraising Database)

• Manage and maintain the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date fundraising and programmes data entry.  Accurately processing all incoming donations and pledges and ensuring others in the team correctly enter and maintain data.
• Develop overall data management structure of supporter records and processes.  Develop and maintain information management structures in the CRM system to enable accurate and timely information and reporting.
• Adhere to data protection legislation ensuring the way we gather, record and use data is compliant with latest policies, working closely with the Data Protection Officer.
• Handle all enquiries received through the CRM system, providing timely and appropriate responses.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operation and optimal use of the CRM system.
• Generate reports and analytics from the CRM system to track and measure key metrics.
• Conduct regular data audits to identify and rectify any inconsistencies or errors in the CRM database.
