Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser to cover maternity leave. This is a hands-on and strategic role, offering the chance to lead our fundraising from trusts, foundations, and charitable funders during a key period of growth.

You will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting high-quality funding applications, building and maintaining relationships with existing and developing new funders, and ensuring that our supporter communications reflect our mission and impact. As a core member of our small, passionate team, you will also support wider fundraising and communications activities to help grow the organisation’s reach and income

Key Responsibilities

Trusts & Foundations Fundraising

· Lead all trust and foundation fundraising activity, delivering income in line with agreed targets.

· Identify, research, and cultivate new funding opportunities.

· Write compelling, high-quality applications and cases for support.

· Maintain accurate fundraising records, tracking pipeline, progress, and outcomes.

· Manage relationships with funders, ensuring excellent donor care and timely reporting.

Impact & Storytelling

· Work with our Programme Manager to collect, curate, and present impact data and stories from programmes to support funding applications.

Collaboration & Wider Fundraising Support

· Work collaboratively with the wider fundraising and communications team to align strategies and maximise opportunities.

Skills & Experience

Essential

· Proven experience in trusts and foundations fundraising or similar fundraising role, ideally in the charity sector.

· Proven ability to secure grants in excess of £30,000 and multi-year funding.

· Excellent writing, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate impact into compelling applications.

· Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.

· Strong interpersonal skills, confident in building relationships with funders and stakeholders.

· Analytical mindset, with experience maintaining accurate databases and using insight to inform activity.

Job Title: Freelance Facilitator

Reporting to: Senior Programme Lead

We are seeking Freelance Programme Facilitators to join a pool to deliver our programmes in Staffordshire. Supported by our Programme Development Manager with training and resources you will help children and young people who are experiencing vulnerabilities and disadvantages improve their wellbeing, re-engage with school and learning, build networks and access opportunities.

Programme Facilitators work with significant autonomy and authority. They must embrace responsibility and are accountable for their work. They work collaboratively alongside young people, operating as a mentor as they empower young people to develop self-esteem, become resilient and engage with school and their own future. They give each young person the time, the confidence and skills to engage with their education.

You will work in schools and community settings to support young people and their families to ensure that at-risk children and young people make the most of their potential and improve their life chances. Work will include 1:1 support and delivery of Power2’s core programmes.

Reporting to Director, Supporter Engagement

We are seeking an enterprising, organised individual to join Akshaya Patra UK as our Supporter Engagement Officer. The role is a joyfully versatile one which requires planning, coordination, and a strong 'make it happen' attitude. As the first point of contact for supporters, community groups, and partners, the candidate will ensure every interaction, whether by phone, email, social media, or in-person, is positive, timely, and professional.

A key part of the role will be to build and grow volunteer chapters across the UK, developing local champions who increase awareness and funds for Akshaya Patra. The CRM Impact Manager is a specialised role that will focus on developing our use of the Beacon CRM and ensuring it’s used to our best advantage throughout the charity.

You will lead on capturing and utilising data across the whole of the charity from the impact on our members, to socially focused programming, fundraising events, and income generation through grants and tenders. All the tasks you carry out will contribute to the core purpose of the charity, enabling us to transform the access to and experience of mental health support, for young people.

This is a new position within a new team, focused on the growth of the charity, offering the opportunity to enhance Open Door’s approach data and impact and build new work, as we create new long-term partnerships.

We are looking for an exceptional, value-driven candidate who can hit the ground running as our Legal Education Officer, working closely with the Director and the rest of our small and dynamic Right to Remain team.

The person must be someone who understands the Right to Remain ethos and is prepared to bring their whole self to our organisation. Needless to say, the role requires an impeccable grasp of the asylum and immigration system and its operation on the ground, including how it impacts our community of people seeking asylum, refugees, migrants, their families, friends and allies. It requires an ability to help and guide our community to navigate the complex and hostile asylum and immigration system.

You will be working closely with the Director and the rest of our small and dynamic Right to Remain staff team: another Legal Education Officer based in Leeds (generally) covering the North, the Organiser based in Manchester leading our mighty These Walls Must Fall, and the Engagement Officer based in London. In particular, the post holder will be closely coordinating their work with another Legal Education Officer in Leeds. The post holder is also expected to be already embedded in the local and regional asylum and migration field, familiar with its dynamics and able to tap into their existing relationships and connections with local groups and actors.

You will engage with our network of community groups to ensure that we are apprised of developments on the ground and we are communicating important changes to these support groups. You will also work with the Director and other colleagues to develop and deliver specific public legal education projects, when necessary. We are seeking a Network and Events Officer (maternity cover) to support the delivery of New Local’s vibrant peer-learning network and commercial events programme, creating inclusive, high-quality experiences for members and partners. By providing strong operational and logistical support, the role ensures that events and member sessions run seamlessly and that all participants feel welcomed, heard, and well looked after. Working collaboratively with the Networks & Events team, the postholder will help shape and deliver event and engagement strategies that maximise impact.

Legacies form a key source of income for the British Heart Foundation (BHF), raising approximately £100m a year for our life‑saving research.

As a Legacy Manager, you will manage, protect, and optimise this income. You'll work alongside three other Legacy Managers, supporting the Head of Legacy Management to build on the team’s successes and to optimise the BHF’s income from gifts in Wills.

Joining a thriving team, you’ll undertake a variety of work, including managing casework in accordance with the law, best practice, and BHF’s processes and procedures, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, providing technical guidance to colleagues and potential legacy givers, and line managing two Assistant Legacy Officers and our Legacy Administrator. 

 This role may also require deputising for the Head of Legacy Management. 

About you

You'll either have extensive experience in legacy management within the charities legacy sector; or be a Qualified Private Client Solicitor; or be a Qualified member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners; or be a Qualified Chartered Legal Executive with experience of Wills and Probate.

With high levels of empathy and belief in the BHF’s work, you'll be able to develop strong relationships with colleagues and contacts.  Working arrangements

Purpose of the Role

The Head of Homeless Services will lead, develop and deliver all aspects of Resolve’s Restart service. You will oversee rough sleeping outreach, accommodation and intensive one-to-one support, ensuring people move towards secure housing and improved wellbeing.

We are searching for a Trust and Foundations Officer to work with the Trust and Foundations Manager to grow Turn2us’ income from grant funding. This role will sit within the wider Philanthropy and Partnerships Team, which focuses on building relationships with trusts, corporates and major donors.

The ideal person for this role may have experience working within the charity sector, or equivalent, in a relationship management role and/or knowledge of how to work with Trust and Foundations to generate income. Or they may have relevant transferable skills that they are looking to apply to this role. Key skills include good written communication, good time management and organisational abilities, the ability to infer and interpret different types of information and good relationship management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the business performance of the home alongside the Registered Manager, delivering agreed income, occupancy, cost and surplus targets
• Ensure high standards of service, cleanliness and hospitality through effective leadership of housekeeping, catering and maintenance teams
• Work in partnership with the Registered Manager to maintain quality standards, prepare for inspections, and meet regulatory requirements
• Oversee the administration of the home, including staffing, rotas, payroll information, recruitment, training records and compliance
• Contribute to a well-led, positive and values-driven culture, promoting Pilgrims’ Friend Society’s ethos and “The Way We Care”
• Support staff development, wellbeing and morale through effective supervision, appraisal, performance management and engagement
• Manage resident applications, fees, contracts and family communications, ensuring excellent customer care and responsive complaint handling
• Take responsibility for health, safety and compliance matters when on duty, including fire safety and liaison with external bodies
• Oversee property, maintenance and supplier relationships, working with Property Services to ensure the home is safe and well maintained
• Provide visible leadership in the pastoral and spiritual life of the home, supporting devotions, community engagement and relationships with local churches.

Skills/Experience:

• Willing and able to take a lead in maintaining the Christian ethos of the home;
• Management experience in a business setting;
• Comfortable with writing business communications to staff and residents as well as authorities etc;
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels whilst maintaining confidentiality;
• Ability to lead, motivate and encourage staff to give of their best, and have people-leadership and management experience;
• Able to work under pressure and provide calmness in all situations;
• IT literate ( including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet);
• Willing to be flexible in the working pattern and are prepared to participate in training and attend relevant staff meetings.

Hours:

40 hours a week, usually worked over 5 days.

The Operations Manager will play a central role in ensuring the Joy building operates smoothly, safely and in line with Open Door’s values and ambition. Taking overall responsibility for day-to-day site operations, you will help create a welcoming, inclusive and well-managed environment that supports staff, tenants, partners and everyone who uses the building.

Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will oversee facilities, maintenance, compliance and operational systems, ensuring Joy is consistently clean, secure and fit for purpose. You will act as the main point of contact for contractors and suppliers, manage utilities and building systems, and take a proactive approach to health & safety, risk management and statutory compliance.

As a key operational lead within the building, the role will support events and programmed activity, working closely with the Commercial & Events Manager, Programming Manager and Access teams to ensure activities run safely and smoothly. You will also build positive day-to-day relationships with tenants and partners, and contribute to cross-site support as Open Door continues to grow.
