We're looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Marketing Officer to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering audience-focused marketing campaigns that support Bible Society's mission. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you'll use audience insights, research and data to develop effective omnichannel marketing plans, create engaging customer journeys and ensure the right messages reach the right people at the right time.
The successful candidate will have significant marketing experience, with a strong understanding of audience segmentation, campaign planning and performance measurement. You'll be a proactive and creative communicator, confident managing multiple projects and working with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience of social media, influencer marketing and using data to optimise campaign performance will be highly valued. We are looking for a strategic and collaborative Director for Communities, Campaigns and Fundraising to lead how the Trust builds public support, enables community action, influences political and civic decisions and generates sustainable income across Yorkshire. Providing visitor experiences will be an important route through which people connect with nature, participate in our work and become long-term supporters.
You will bring senior-level experience of integrating communications, marketing and public affairs, together with a strong record of developing audiences, propositions and campaigns that convert interest into participation, advocacy, income and long-term support. You will use audience insight, customer relationship management systems, segmentation and digital engagement to strengthen supporter journeys, conversion, retention and loyalty, while growing sustainable income across membership, giving, appeals, legacies, philanthropy, trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, sponsorship, visitor income and appropriate commercial opportunities.
You will lead through four Heads of Service covering Supporter Engagement, Fundraising, Communications and Public Affairs, and Visitor Services. As a member of our established and diverse Senior Leadership Team, you will set direction, create alignment, strengthen capability and hold the Directorate accountable for delivery. You will also work closely with our vibrant, engaged and supportive Trustee Board and play an active part in The Wildlife Trusts federation.

Bowel Research UK are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Events Officer to lead the delivery and growth of their challenge events programme.
This brand-new role to the charity will focus on recruiting, supporting and stewarding participants across a range of fundraising events, with responsibility for the charity's London Marathon programme and third-party challenge event portfolio.
The postholder will play a key role in growing participation and income from challenge events, ensuring supporters receive an exceptional experience from registration through to completion. Working closely as part of the fundraising team, the Events Officer will identify opportunities to expand the charity's events programme and maximise fundraising potential.
Key to the success of this role is a strong understanding challenge events and specifically, London Marathon.This role is all about ensuring participants in the charity’s events have an excellent experience, are supported to deliver their fundraising ambition and return to support Bowel Research UK in the future, as such enthusiasm for providing great stewardship, and confidence in managing relationships with fundraisers and event partners alike is crucial.
The successful candidate for this role will be someone who has worked with London Marathon or large scale third party event participants before.
