Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service is looking for an inspirational and experienced Director of Care to provide strategic, clinical and operational leadership across our medical, clinical and holistic care services.
This is a pivotal role within our organisation. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Board of Trustees and Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that children, young people and their families receive the highest quality, safe and compassionate care.

The role
As Director of Care, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, management, quality and performance of our care services.
You will:
- Provide strong, visible and inspirational clinical leadership across all care services.
- Lead the strategic development of our medical, clinical and holistic care provision.
- Ensure services are safe, effective, evidence-based, family-centred and responsive to the needs of the children and families we support.
- Act as Joint Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission.
- Provide strategic oversight of clinical governance, quality assurance, risk management, safeguarding and compliance.
- Ensure we are prepared for CQC and other regulatory requirements and that learning from incidents, complaints, audits and research drives continuous improvement.
- Lead and support a highly skilled multidisciplinary Care Team, encouraging a culture of reflection, development, innovation and excellence.
- Work with the CEO and wider Senior Leadership Team to deliver the charity's strategic plan and manage resources effectively.
- Develop strong relationships with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and support the development and management of commissioned services.
- Represent Alexander Devine locally and nationally, contributing to the wider development of children's palliative care.
- Champion the voice of children, young people and their families, ensuring their experience informs the ongoing development of our services.
About you
We are looking for an exceptional clinical leader who combines strategic vision with strong operational management and a genuine passion for children's palliative care.
You will be a registered nurse with significant experience in paediatric palliative care and senior-level leadership experience. You will have a strong understanding of clinical governance, CQC requirements, PSIRF and safeguarding, together with experience of leading service development and change.
You will bring:
- NMC registration as a Children's or Adult Nurse.
- Significant experience of palliative paediatric nursing.
- Senior-level experience of management, strategic thinking and service development.
- Experience of CQC compliance, clinical governance, PSIRF and safeguarding.
- Strong financial and budgetary understanding.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to communicate complex and sensitive information to a wide range of audiences.
- The ability to interpret data and use evidence to inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Excellent networking and partnership-building skills.
- A Master's-level qualification in a relevant health or leadership subject is desirable.

The RCSLT is the professional body for speech and language therapists across the UK. The RCSLT has over 24,000 members and employs around 65 staff predominately based in a London office. The RCSLT also has offices in Belfast, Edinburgh, and Cardiff.

The role
As a Research & Outcomes Officer, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering the RCSLT’s research and outcomes work, helping to strengthen research culture, champion evidence-based practice and support the profession to make better use of evidence and data.
You’ll take operational responsibility for a varied portfolio of projects and initiatives, from research priority setting and engagement, to collecting and analysing data, supporting evidence synthesis and monitoring impact. You’ll also help bring this work to life through engaging communications across RCSLT research channels, as well as presentations, webinars, conferences and events.
Working closely with RCSLT members, colleagues and external stakeholders, you’ll provide expert, evidence-based advice on research, outcomes, clinical and professional issues, while responding to enquiries and supporting teams across the organisation to identify, understand and apply research evidence.

We’re looking for a qualified Speech and Language Therapist and current RCSLT member with strong clinical and professional knowledge and a passion for research and evidence-based practice. You’ll have experience of literature searching, critical appraisal and evidence synthesis, alongside knowledge of research, evaluation, outcome measures and data analysis.
You’ll be confident turning complex evidence and data into clear, accessible insights and communicating these effectively to a range of audiences.
You’ll be highly organised, analytical and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. A collaborative approach is essential, as you’ll work with members, colleagues and external stakeholders to provide expert guidance and support. Summary of Position
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual to join the RHN Academy as a Partner Liaison Officer.

Community-led research sits at the heart of how High Trees works. Our approach aims to rebalance the role and power that communities have in deciding how research is informed, delivered and used to improve lives for Lambeth residents. Over recent years we have built a strong foundation for this work and developed two flagship community research partnerships — the Lambeth Peer Action Collective and the Lambeth Community Research Network. - We’re looking for an experienced, confident and compassionate leader who can balance people, purpose and performance.
- You will be responsible for implementing the organisation’s strategy, as set by the Board of Trustees, leading staff and volunteers, overseeing services and finances, and ensuring strong governance and compliance.
- You’ll need strong knowledge and understanding of NHS and Local Authority structures, as well as health and social care legislation in Wales.
- You will maintain our welcoming, inclusive culture while planning for the future by identifying opportunities, building new partnerships and income streams, managing risk, and ensuring the charity’s financial sustainability.
- You will be a great listener, ensuring that our community feels heard. You will amplify their voices locally, regionally and nationally. These views will also inform the design, development and delivery of all our high-quality services

At The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, accurate, accessible and well-managed data underpins everything from supporter stewardship to the delivery of ambitious fundraising campaigns. We are looking for a proactive and solutions-focused Senior Database Officer to help colleagues get the best from our fundraising CRM, strengthen data quality and support our ongoing transition to Raiser’s Edge NXT.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative Data and Fundraising Operations team at a time of significant growth. You will combine technical database work with stakeholder support, training and process improvement, helping colleagues use our systems confidently and effectively.

This role offers more than traditional database administration.
Our Data and Fundraising Operations team acts as the technical lead for many of the Charity’s systems and technical projects. Alongside developing your knowledge of Raiser’s Edge NXT, you’ll have opportunities to broaden your experience across Excel, Access, SharePoint, APIs, data integrations, reporting, automation and system implementation.
You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive team where you can deepen your CRM expertise while developing a broader understanding of data, systems and digital processes within fundraising.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll help colleagues across the Charity get the best from our fundraising CRM and data by:
- Providing day-to-day support and troubleshooting for Raiser’s Edge NXT users
- Supporting fundraising teams as they move from Raiser’s Edge 7 to NXT
- Delivering clear training, guidance and practical support to CRM users
- Managing data imports, cleansing, audits and database administration
- Monitoring data quality and improving how supporter information is recorded
- Working with stakeholders to understand their needs and improve systems and processes
About you
You may already be working as a Database Officer, CRM Officer or charity data specialist and be ready to take the next step in your career.
You’re curious, proactive and solutions-focused. You enjoy investigating data and system issues, working with complex datasets and finding practical ways to improve processes. Just as importantly, you enjoy working with people and can explain technical information clearly to colleagues with different levels of confidence and experience.
You’ll bring:
- Proven ability to learn new systems quickly and develop advanced knowledge
- Strong data manipulation skills using Excel, Access or comparable tools
- Highly developed problem-solving skills
- The ability to investigate data or system issues methodically
- Experience managing several stakeholders and competing requirements
- The ability to draw out requirements and translate them into practical improvements
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly
- A proactive approach and a high level of initiative
It would be helpful, but not essential, if you have
- Experience of working within a charity
- Advanced knowledge of Raiser’s Edge 7 or Raiser’s Edge NXT
- Experience using ImportOmatic or a similar data import tool
- Experience designing and delivering systems training
- Experience creating user guidance or process documentation
- Experience supporting CRM adoption or system change

We’re looking for highly organised, proactive and resilient Executive Assistant & Office Manager to provide exceptional support to our CEO and Senior Management Team and help ensure the smooth running of our Reception and Administrative Office.
This is a varied and pivotal role at the heart of a small, retirement community on a beautiful 13-acre site in South-East London (Kent/Surrey border). You will manage the CEO’s diary and inbox, prepare papers and correspondence, support the Senior Management Team, coordinate key organisational projects, and personally deliver day-to-day office administration, including covering reception.

The role
