Your Park Bristol & Bath uses parks to deliver positive social change. We work across three themes: health, access and nature. With funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, our Roots to Wellbeing programme supports people struggling with their mental health to build confidence, connection and resilience through nature-based group sessions.

About Roots to Wellbeing
Roots to Wellbeing is our Green Social Prescribing programme. We run 18-week rolling programmes in parks, supporting people who are experiencing poor mental health or finding life challenging. Participants take part in activities rooted in the University of Derby’s 5 pathways to nature connection, including nature walks, mindfulness, creative practice and practical conservation work
This role is about more than running sessions. It is about building trust, creating safety, and helping people who may never have felt parks were “for them” to develop a meaningful relationship with nature and community.
The role
You will:

Build and maintain strong referral partnerships

Triage referrals and ensure sessions are accessible and inclusive

Plan and deliver weekly nature-based wellbeing sessions

Support monitoring, evaluation and reporting

Work in parks across Bristol and Bath
This is a practical, people-facing role. You will be outdoors in all seasons and confident facilitating groups with complex needs.
We are looking for someone who:

Has at least two years’ experience working directly with people with mental health and complex needs

Has delivered group-based nature or eco-therapy activities

Understands green social prescribing

Can build strong, trusting relationships with participants and partners

Is organised, emotionally intelligent and solutions focused
A qualification in mental health and line management experience are desirable. An Enhanced DBS is required

About the Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a key role in the growth and development of St Christopher’s fostering services. AFK is a national charity helping young disabled people develop their independence and find employment. As part of this we provide bespoke travel training on London’s public transport network to and from school, college and work placements in the North London area.
We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible candidates to train and support young people to travel specified journeys safely and independently using public transport.
Overall Job Purpose
To train and support a young person to travel a specified journey safely and independently using public transport. Record your observations and give feedback to the travel training coordinator, the young person and their family. To take part in reviews of training as it progresses.
Working Conditions
- Casual working assignment with no minimum hours guaranteed
- Each assignment must be mutually agreed by both parties
- You will be expected to work mornings and/or evenings as required by the job and we will also consider job sharing for this role.
Responsibilities
- Support a young person door-to-door as they travel on public transport.
- Familiarise yourself with the following documents –
- Journey Plan – describes the route you and the trainee will follow, and the alternative route(s) if the need arises.
- Risk Assessment – outlines the support needs of the trainee, and risks and strategies to mitigate them.
- Record your observations using standardised forms and relay your observations to the travel training coordinator on a weekly basis.
- Allow the young person to learn independently and only guide, support or intervene when necessary (this will be included in your induction)
- Approach travel training in a positive manner by reinforcing achievements and viewing obstacles as opportunities to learn. Discuss strategies and agree solutions with the young person, their family and the travel training coordinator.
- To contact the travel training coordinator immediately if there are any emergencies or unexpected situations.
- Ensure that the young person is trained to use the alternative route safely and independently.
- Ensure that the young person learns and/or knows how to contact parents or carers in case of an emergency
- Any issues or concerns must be raised with the travel training coordinator or the business development manager.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Crann is now seeking to appoint a Head of Fundraising, a senior leadership role responsible for developing and leading a sustainable fundraising function to support the organisation’s mission and future growth. This is a newly created role and represents a shift from organically grown, CEO-led fundraising to a more structured and strategic approach that supports scale, complexity and long-term financial sustainability.
Reporting to the CEO and sitting on the Senior Management Team, the Head of Fundraising will be responsible for setting fundraising strategy, translating it into clear operational plans, and ensuring the systems, structures and ways of working are in place to deliver consistent and diversified income. The role will involve leading and developing a small fundraising team, strengthening capability, clarity and accountability across the function.
In addition to building the fundraising function, the Head of Fundraising will personally manage a portfolio of key donor relationships and income streams, working directly with funders, donors, partners and stakeholders. ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an organised, proactive and professional Personal Assistant to provide high-level support to the Director of Secondary Education at the Harris Federation. This 1-year fixed-term maternity cover role is central to ensuring the smooth running of the Director’s day-to-day operations, including diary management, stakeholder communication, meeting coordination and the preparation of key documents.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Your responsibilities will include:

- To ensure that the Director’s diary is managed efficiently and effectively. This will involve liaising with a variety of external and internal stakeholders.
- To provide a daily/weekly diary and documentation and maintain an overview of approaching deadlines.
- To maintain the Director’s contacts.
- To maintain an exemplary professional environment for the Director at all times.
- To ensure that all visitors are welcomed and catered for in a professional manner, organising refreshments as appropriate.

We know that 91% of people affected by a brain tumour will have experienced a negative impact to their emotional well-being; often exacerbated by cognitive issues, personality changes, long term side effects and reduced prognosis. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about talking to those affected by a brain tumour diagnosis and supporting them through our different channels, including phone line, live chat and email.
In this role, you will work across both our Counselling Service and Adults support team, helping us provide a seamless, joined up experience for our service users. You’ll provide empathetic, practical support directly to individuals, whilst also supporting the day to day running of our free counselling service - overseeing referrals, supporting assessments and helping ensure each element of the service meets our standards and the needs of the community. By bridging both teams, you will play a key role in making sure people receive the right emotional and practical support at the right time, no matter how they reach us.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Someone who can support a wide range of people – from those who are looking for general information about treatment or care, to those who need more detailed support from the point of diagnosis, you will be passionate about improving the lives of those affected by a brain tumour.
You will be empathetic and professional, with experience of working in a busy admin or service delivery role. The ideal candidate would also have a strong understanding of counselling principles and practice and would be able to confidently explain our different support services to service users. Working as the Head of People & Culture for Citizens UK, reporting to the Executive Director, Finance & Operations, your main responsibilities will include:
People & Culture Strategy
Ensure Citizens UK has the people, capability and organisational shape required to deliver its mission and sustain impact over time.
· Analyse organisational strategy, change priorities and external context to identify their implications for people, capability, structure and ways of working.
