Doing Good Recruitment is proud to be partnering with Cornerstone Place on the appointment of an Operations and Project Coordinator.
At Cornerstone Place, we are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our growing team at an exciting stage of our development. This is a rare opportunity to work directly alongside our Co-Founders, helping to build and scale a multi-award-winning social enterprise tackling one of the UK's most urgent social challenges: the shortage of genuinely affordable homes for people in the greatest housing need.
The role is offered on a permanent basis, with flexible remote working and occasional travel for partner meetings, site visits and sector events across England.
Who We Are
Cornerstone Place is a multi-award-winning social enterprise with a bold ambition to transform how social housing is delivered in the UK.
We exist because too many people lack access to safe, stable and affordable homes. Through our Impact First Social Housing® model, we create 100% social housing with 0% profit, ensuring homes and the long-term value they generate remain focused on social impact rather than financial extraction.
Working in partnership with local authorities, charities and asset-locked housing providers, we develop homes that are environmentally sustainable, designed for long-term community benefit and built to support the people who need them most.
As we enter our next phase of growth, we are looking for someone who wants to help build an organisation capable of creating lasting systemic change.
The Role
Working closely with both Co-Founders, the Operations and Project Coordinator will play a key and highly varied role across strategy, project development, partnerships, operations and organisational growth.
You will help progress new housing projects, support strategic partnerships, conduct research and analysis, contribute to thought leadership activity and assist in developing the systems and processes that enable Cornerstone Place to scale its impact.
This is not a traditional support role. It is an opportunity to become a key contributor within a small and entrepreneurial organisation, gaining first-hand experience of how a mission-led organisation is built while helping drive meaningful work forward.
Day-to-day, you might be researching a new housing opportunity, preparing briefing materials for local authority partners, supporting partnership development, analysing policy changes affecting the sector, attending meetings with stakeholders, or helping design and improve the internal systems and AI-enabled tools that support our work.
As your experience grows, you will be encouraged to take ownership of projects and workstreams, helping turn ideas into action and strategy into measurable impact.
We understand that the areas of focus are somewhat unique to Cornerstone Place and that finding someone with direct experience across all elements of the role is unlikely. As well as appropriate experience we will also be evaluating applicants based on a wider set of criteria. We are looking for someone with values aligned to ours, a demonstrable ability to learn and implement new skills, the right attitude and a desire to get behind our mission. Your supporting letter (see below) will be critical in this regard.
About You
You are intellectually curious, highly organised and motivated by the opportunity to tackle complex social challenges.
You enjoy moving between strategic thinking and practical execution, are comfortable working in environments where priorities evolve, and are proactive in identifying ways to create progress and solve problems.
We are particularly interested in people who demonstrate:
You do not need previous experience in housing to be successful in this role. We are open to candidates from a wide range of professional, educational and personal backgrounds.
You may be an early-career professional seeking exceptional development opportunities, or someone looking to apply transferable skills to a role with meaningful social impact. What matters most is your potential, values and commitment to our mission.
Our Commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
Cornerstone Place is committed to equitable and inclusive recruitment. We actively welcome applications from all sections of the community, regardless of age, disability, gender identity, race, ethnicity, religion, sexuality or socio-economic background.
We believe diverse perspectives help create better solutions to complex social challenges and strengthen our ability to deliver meaningful impact.
We recognise that great candidates do not always meet every requirement listed in a job description. If this opportunity excites you and you believe you could contribute to our mission, we encourage you to apply.
How To Apply
We are partnering with Doing Good Recruitment on this campaign. Please click Apply to submit your up-to-date CV and a one page supporting letter following these guidelines.
In no more than one page, please outline why you would be keen to work at Cornerstone Place and what you could bring to the role. Where possible, please provide some examples across the following areas.
Using AI: We want to hear your authentic voice. If you use AI, it should only support clarity, flow, or correcting typos—not replace your own perspective. This is your opportunity to show your genuine motivation, passion, and real experiences
We believe that the organisations and people, that come together to make the world a better place, deserve the very best helping hand for hiring.
Senior Young Dads Worker (Neurodiverse)
About NEYDL
North East Young Dads and Lads (NEYDL) was founded in 2017 and has grown rapidly to become one of the UK’s most recognised organisations supporting young dads, men aged 25 and under in a fathering role. Our vision is for young dads to be valued and supported as parents. In 2024/25 we supported 217 young dads directly and achieved 100% satisfaction among the young dads we work with.
We are a non-judgmental organisation built on mutual trust, respect and honesty. Many of our staff are young dads themselves or have lived experience relevant to the communities we serve.
About this role
We use the term ‘young dads’ to refer to young dads, expectant dads and non-birthing partners aged 25 and under. This includes people within this age bracket who self-identify as father figures, including kinship carers and non-birthing partners.
We use the term ‘neurodiverse’ as an inclusive term covering young dads who are autistic, have ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia or other forms of neurodivergence, whether formally diagnosed, self-identified or awaiting assessment. We recognise that neurodivergent young dads can face additional barriers in accessing parenting support, including in how services are structured, communicated and delivered, and that these barriers are often compounded by stigma, exclusion or a lack of appropriate adjustment.
This is a dedicated role to ensure neurodivergent young dads can access the high quality support NEYDL offers, and that our wider service offer is genuinely accessible to them. You will provide direct, adapted support to neurodivergent young dads, while also building NEYDL’s organisational understanding of how to work effectively and inclusively with this group.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a motivated and experienced worker with a genuine understanding of neurodivergence and its impact on young fathers, and the ability to adapt support, communication and activities accordingly. You will be a confident networker, able to build relationships with both young dads and the services and organisations that support neurodivergent people across the North East.
We particularly welcome applications from people with lived experience of neurodivergence, either personally or as a parent or carer of a neurodivergent child, and from people with lived experience of young fatherhood.
What we offer
NEYDL is a close, inclusive and supportive team that actively invests in the development of its staff. We are a non-judgmental organisation built on mutual trust, respect and honesty. If you join us, you will be part of a team that genuinely believes in what it does.
In addition, we offer:
• 7.2 weeks’ annual leave per year (pro rata), inclusive of statutory and public holidays
• 5% employer pension contribution
• A flexible hybrid working arrangement
• Regular supervision and fortnightly team meetings
• Funded professional development and training
• Mileage paid at 55p per mile for business travel
How to apply
To apply, please send your CV (no more than four pages, including two references who can be contacted if successful) and either:
• A covering letter of no more than two sides of A4 (Arial, size 12)
• Or a video of no more than four minutes
In your application, please address:
• What excites you most about this role and how it connects to your skills and experience, bearing in mind the person specification
• What relevant lived experience you would bring to this role
• What experience of engaging with neurodivergent young people, families or communities you would bring to this role
Applications must be received by midnight, Sunday 16 August.
Shortlisting: 17 & 18 August. Interviews: Friday 21 August.
NEYDL is committed to equity, diversity and inclusion. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and particularly encourage applications from people with lived experience relevant to the communities we serve.
Are you a strategic and decisive fundraising leader ready to use your skills and talents so that everyone can know Jesus through the Bible?
At Wycliffe Bible Translators, growth is accelerating, with individual giving up 36% and legacy pledgers doubling to 440 over the last three years. This means supporting more Bible translators, growing local churches, and transforming lives. Remarkably, more Bibles have been translated in the past 30 years than in the previous 2,000. Yet, 1 in 5 people worldwide remain underserved without God’s word in their language. We have ambitious plans to exponentially expand individual giving from £1.35m to £5.6m by 2032, built on strong foundations, team enthusiasm, and expert agency engagement.
As Director for Supporters, you will provide pivotal fundraising leadership to build long-term support through regular giving and legacies while valuing donors deeply. You will guide and empower a motivated team within a genuinely remote-first organisation, recognised in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work list. If you want your leadership to help us say ‘Yes!’ to supporting more Bible translators worldwide, we encourage you to apply.
Key responsibilities:
Grow individual giving income exponentially from £1.35m to £5.6m by 2032, with a focus on regular giving
Pilot, test and scale fundraising products that meet donors needs
Achieve exceptional donor retention rates through shaping a culture of fundraising that puts the supporter at the heart
Lead and empower a talented team and collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver high performance
Benefits include:
It is an occupational requirement of this role that you have a clear, personal commitment to the beliefs set out in our Statement of Faith and Doctrinal Position Statement.
To apply, visit our careers site and complete the short online application, attaching your CV and a covering letter (no more than two pages) summarising why you’re applying, how you meet the person specification, and telling us about your personal Christian journey and church involvement.

The core Into Film programme is free for UK state schools, colleges and other youth settings, thanks to support from the BFI, awarding National Lottery good cause funding, and through other key funders including Cinema First and Northern Ireland Screen.
Our vision – Film enriches the life of every child and young person.
