About you
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Facilities Coordinator to join a small, high-performing team within a dynamic, client-facing environment. Working closely with the Facilities Team Leader, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operational management of the site, ensuring a safe, efficient, and professional workplace. This varied position includes supporting building maintenance, coordinating facilities operations, and assisting with the delivery of internal and commercial events, including set-up, in-meeting support, and porterage of furniture, deliveries, and equipment. You will contribute to site-wide Health & Safety compliance, including DSE requirements and evacuation procedures, while managing tasks through a CRM/helpdesk system to ensure delivery in line with service level agreements. Performance in this role will be measured through key indicators, including SLA adherence, timely resolution of helpdesk requests, Health & Safety compliance standards, event delivery effectiveness, stakeholder satisfaction, and overall site presentation. Working collaboratively with contractors, tenants, and stakeholders, you will help maintain high service standards, proactively identify issues, and support their timely resolution.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a professional, solutions-focused approach, strong organisational and communication skills, sound Health & Safety knowledge, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.

The Royal College of Pathologists is a professional membership organisation with charitable status concerned with all matters relating to the science and practice of pathology. We are looking for a confident and organised Face-to-Face Fundraising Officer to join our ambitious Individual Giving team. Working closely with the Individual Giving Manager (Face-to-Face Fundraising), this role will spearhead the planning, delivery and optimisation of face-to-face fundraising activity across a range of products and channels including Regular Giving, Lottery and Payroll Giving.

The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day management of campaigns and relationships with external fundraising agencies and suppliers. They will help ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on brand and in line with all relevant regulations and codes of practice, whilst supporting strong supporter experience and high-quality fundraising standards.

The role will also support reporting, KPI monitoring, forecasting and campaign analysis, helping to identify trends, opportunities and areas for optimisation across the programme. Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management

· Plan, manage and deliver face-to-face fundraising campaigns across a range of products and channels including Regular Giving, Lottery and Payroll Giving.

· Work closely with external fundraising agencies and suppliers to support the successful delivery of campaigns and maintain effective working relationships.

· Act as a day-to-day point of contact for external stakeholders and agency partners.

· Deliver campaign briefing, monitoring and optimisation to help ensure campaigns achieve agreed KPIs and performance targets.

· Complete routine campaign reviews, reporting and analysis, identifying trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.

· Support testing and optimisation activity across campaigns using test and learn principles.

· Work closely with internal teams including Supporter Engagement, Legal & Compliance, Data & Analytics and Finance to support effective campaign delivery and processes.

· Development of engaging campaign materials and supporter communications.

· Support cross-team collaboration and integrated campaign activity across the organisation.

Planning, Reporting and Budget Support

· KPI tracking, trend analysis and reporting across a range of financial and non-financial measures.

· Regular campaign reporting, forecasting and performance monitoring.

· Live programme optimisation to help ensure campaign targets are achieved.

· Contribute to annual planning and campaign development processes.

· Conduct invoice reconciliation and processing to ensure timely payment of suppliers.

· Maintain accurate campaign records, trackers and documentation.

· Provide administrative and reporting support for agency reviews, meetings and campaign evaluations.

Training and Compliance

· Delivery and coordination of fundraiser training and engagement activity with agency partners.

· Complete monitoring of face-to-face fundraising activity to help ensure high standards of supporter experience, compliance and professionalism are maintained.

· Work closely with agency partners and internal teams to ensure fundraising activity adheres to relevant fundraising regulations, data protection requirements and codes of practice.

· Oversee mystery shopping, shadowing and quality assurance processes where required.

· Maintain accurate compliance and training records across agency partners.

Knowledge, skills and experience needed:

· Experience supporting fundraising, marketing or direct marketing campaigns.

· Experience working with external suppliers, agencies or stakeholders.

· Experience reporting on campaign performance and KPIs.

· Understanding of fundraising, marketing or customer engagement principles.

· Experience working with CRM or database systems.

· Experience managing multiple projects or priorities simultaneously.

Ways of working:

As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals.  This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

Salary: Circa £31,000 per annum, plus benefits.

The Opportunity

This is a key operational role at the heart of UKATA. You’ll combine day-to-day operational coordination with responsibility for agreed projects and organisational improvements. No two days are the same. One day you might be coordinating an online event, updating our website or producing reports from our membership management system to support decision-making. Location and Working Hours

This is a home-based role with flexible remote working arrangements. Regular travel across the UK is required to support conferences, trustee and committee meetings, planning days, and other organisational activities. On average, this is expected to be around once a month, although the level of travel will go up and down, with some periods busier than others. Reasonable travel and accommodation expenses will be reimbursed in line with UKATA policies.

We are looking for someone who can work 30 hours across at least four days a week, primarily during normal weekday office hours. Some flexibility will be required to attend occasional evening meetings and weekend events.

Salary

The full-time equivalent salary for this role is £40,000. The pro rata salary is £32,000. 

The Senior Marketing Officer is responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating the charity's day-to-day marketing activity, campaigns and fundraising appeals to support the delivery of the charity's strategic objectives and income targets. 

The post holder will have excellent project management and communication skills, be highly organised and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. They will work collaboratively across teams to deliver high-quality marketing activity that engages supporters, strengthens both charity brands and drives fundraising performance. 

The role is a 12-month FTC, with the potential to become permanent, and is primarily based at the charity’s head office at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, with the requirement to also occasionally work from Birmingham Women’s Hospital alongside some remote and out of hours working. 

The Senior Marketing Officer plays a key role in delivering successful fundraising products and offline marketing campaigns which increase public awareness of both charities, strengthen brand identity, grow supporter engagement and maximise income. 

This is a hands-on role suited to an ambitious marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing multiple projects simultaneously. 

Your skills and passion will see you: 

Plan, deliver and evaluate day-to-day fundraising campaigns and products alongside the Marketing Manager, maximising reach, supporter engagement, brand advocacy and income generation.

Support the development, delivery and evaluation of major fundraising campaigns and appeals alongside the Marketing Manager, ensuring they maximise engagement, stand out from competitors and drive income. 

• Act as a brand champion for both charities, providing internal and external guidance on brand identity, messaging and the application of brand guidelines across all marketing materials. 
• Drive marketing innovation by collaborating with colleagues across the charity to develop, deliver and evaluate new campaigns and fundraising products, ensuring they meet agreed objectives and attract and retain target audiences.
• Produce and manage creative briefs for external agencies, while overseeing the internal creative briefing process to ensure projects are prioritised, scheduled and delivered on time and within budget. 
• Manage ad hoc design requests using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Canva, ensuring all assets meet brand standards and organisational requirements. 
• Represent Marketing on cross-departmental project groups, ensuring donor stewardship is maximised across campaigns and that all marketing materials are approved in line with brand guidelines, key messages and strategic direction. 
• Work closely with the PR team to develop and maintain a high-quality case study database, ensuring appropriate consent, confidentiality and safeguarding procedures are followed. 
• Analyse marketing performance against agreed KPIs, preparing reports and recommendations to inform future activity and drive continuous improvement. 
• Coordinate supporter surveys and focus groups to gather insight, evaluate marketing effectiveness and inform the development of new fundraising products and campaigns, working collaboratively with the wider Marketing and Communications team.

The Role:

Your Experience

• Significant senior fundraising experience across multiple income streams, with a strong track record of delivering sustainable income growth
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing fundraising teams, building a positive and ambitious culture
• Demonstrable success in designing and delivering fundraising strategies that achieve measurable results and long-term financial sustainability
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, income forecasting, performance management, and driving return on investment across fundraising activity
• Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, alongside developing compelling cases for support, funding applications, and donor propositions that inspire giving and generate income
• Experience of planning and delivering successful fundraising events, with responsibility for volunteer management and awareness of relevant health and safety requirements

About the FCLP

upReach is recruiting for our unique Future Charity  Leaders Programme (FCLP). This is a great opportunity for anyone who is passionate about social mobility, and looking to gain exposure to various aspects of charity management whilst working with university students who are exploring their career options. We welcome applications from those in the corporate world who are looking for a career change as well as recent graduates wanting to kick-start their career in the third sector.

upReach’s Future Charity Leaders Programme (FCLP) combines delivery work (supporting our Associates) with exposure to a range of aspects of charity management.

As a Programme Coordinator on the FCLP, you will deliver personalised, employment-focused support to a cohort of approximately 80 Associates, helping to transform their lives by equipping them with the necessary skills to secure a top graduate job. During a typical week, you should expect to be working across a range of projects including:

• 1:1 undergraduate coaching

• Events organisation

• Application support

• Partnership management (with university partners or employer partners) 

• and more!

In addition to this, the programme offers the opportunity to develop skills in key areas of charity management by participating in 3 rounds of six-month 'rotations' across different functions. 

Throughout the programme, you will receive dedicated internal training developing your leadership skills and building your confidence in the role.Through our partnership with The Circle Line, you will be part of a supportive peer group, offered regular personal development training workshops online and in-person on their '12 Tools for Life'. You will also be able to choose your own practitioner to support you in 1:1 sessions throughout the programme to help you unlock more of your unique potential.

What will I be doing?

The FCLP is a fast-paced but rewarding role. Programme Coordinators spend 80% of their time (4 days per week) working directly with Associates to enhance their career knowledge and skills and 20% (1 day per week) on a charity management rotation (or an apprenticeship after 18 months). No two days are the same, but your responsibilities may include:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with Associates, helping them to achieve their career goals 

• Developing and delivering professional development-focused support

• Individual and small group work with Associates 

• Assisting Associates with their applications to undergraduate positions and graduate jobs 

• Developing sector and/or employability skill knowledge while building resources to aid all Associates 

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with university and/or employer partners 

• Delivering informative workshops to enhance sector knowledge and employability skills

• Planning, delivering and reporting on events and workshops with partners

When applying for this role we ask that applicants are able to commit to the full 18-month training programme, and we encourage participation in the apprenticeship scheme beyond this. As you will be working directly with our beneficiaries throughout their degree, this consistency will allow you to build bonds with your Associates and ensure continuity, thus allowing us to have the most impact for the young people we work with.

What Skills and Experience do I need?

This programme would be suited to individuals who are committed to upReach’s mission, motivated to work with undergraduates and interested in learning about, and gaining experience in, charity management. We are looking for people who are passionate about social mobility and believe that background should not be a barrier to graduate employment. 

Essential Skills/Experiences:

• Working in a fast-paced environment and working independently to find solutions to problems

• Strong organisational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage a varied workload

• A University degree in any discipline, or equivalent experience

• Self-motivation and an ability to work in a small team as well as solo

• Excellent communication skills and strong written English

• The ability to engage and communicate confidently with undergraduates, corporate volunteers (mentors) and employers via phone, email, and in person

• Confidence with public speaking or facilitating workshops

Desirable Skills/Experiences:

• Knowledge of the graduate labour market in the UK and experience supporting individuals through an application process 

• Working in one or more of the career sectors that upReach support Associates in applying to.

1. Conduct thorough prospect research across NHS BHRUT procurement suppliers, local businesses and priority sectors to build a strong and accurate pipeline of prospective corporate and community partners in our new CRM, Beacon.

2. Create a corporate partnership fundraising deck for prospects that brings to life all the ways businesses can get involved, from social value opportunities, do your own fundraising and challenge events, sponsorship opportunities, to volunteering and in-kind support. This will need to be compelling and can be tailored for NHS procurement suppliers and aligned to the charity’s strategic goals.

3. Develop a corporate volunteering opportunities deck, ready to share with prospective and current partners. 

4. Identify key stakeholders within target prospect organisations and make proactive outreach to arrange prospect meetings between corporate contacts and the Head of Fundraising, to support the charity’s income growth ambitions.

About the Role

We are looking for a Head of Finance and Income Operations to lead NFFN’s finance function and help strengthen the systems, controls and reporting that will support the organisation’s next stage of growth.

This is a senior leadership role at the heart of a small, ambitious and mission-led organisation. You will oversee day-to-day financial management, budgeting, management accounts, restricted funds, funder reporting and income operations. You will also help improve how finance works across NFFN, giving budget holders clearer information and helping the organisation make confident, well-informed decisions.

The role is about more than keeping the numbers moving. We are looking for someone who can help build a stronger finance function, improve internal systems, support funder confidence, and help NFFN manage a more complex mix of grants, donations, restricted funding and revenue-based delivery work.

Depending on your background, this may suit someone with strong charity finance experience, or someone from a finance, grants, funding operations or mission-led commercial background who wants to use their skills in a values-led organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• leading day-to-day financial management, controls and reporting

• preparing budgets, forecasts, management accounts and financial updates

• supporting budget holders with clear, practical financial information

• improving finance systems, processes, approvals and reporting tools

• overseeing restricted funds, grant conditions, funder reporting and income tracking

• supporting funding applications with budgets, financial information and reporting structures

• helping NFFN manage VAT, full cost recovery and different types of income as the organisation grows

We know this is a broad role, and we are not expecting one person to have done everything before. We are looking for someone with strong financial experience, good judgement, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in helping NFFN build the financial infrastructure it needs for the future.
