The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) is partnering with Robertson Bell on a retained basis to recruit a Director of Finance on a permanent basis. This is far more than a traditional Finance Director role. This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary of £87,000 based on a hybrid working model requiring one day per week in the London office, typically on Tuesdays.

The role of a Children and family Worker will support children and young people under the age of 18 on a one-to-one basis in a confidential space. The role will deliver a wide range of interventions/ education though activities, such as games, arts and crafts and emotional wellbeing resources. The role will utilise a young person-centred approach, empowering them to explore situations which they feel they have little control over to support them to lead a safe, happy, and healthy life.
The role will work in partnership and liaise with other young people services throughout Buckinghamshire, to provide holistic support to young people accessing the service. We need to record information about what we do, so enjoying a bit of admin work and attention to detail is important, but most of the time you’ll be enjoying working with young people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives. You will be required to work flexibly across operational sites as required so must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car. About the service: Door of Hope, East London
Door of Hope supports women who sell sex in Tower Hamlets through advocacy, information, emotional support and practical help. The service works alongside women at their own pace and is supported by a committed volunteer team delivering street outreach in Tower Hamlets on Thursday mornings and Friday nights.
About the role
Beyond the Streets is a UK charity with over 20 years’ experience partnering with women in the sex industry to support safety from coercion, violence and abuse. We provide trauma-informed, person-centred support, specialist training, and resources shaped by research, lived experience and practitioner insight.
This psychotherapy service was developed because many women supported by Door of Hope need flexible, accessible therapeutic support that mainstream services may not be able to provide. Since its introduction, the service has demonstrated meaningful positive impact, supporting psychological and behavioural change for women experiencing multiple disadvantage.
Based at our offices in Tower Hamlets, you will provide women-centred psychotherapeutic support to women with complex needs through in-person, online, telephone or blended approaches.
At times, you may meet women in local cafés, hostels or other community settings to build relationships, establish trust and offer brief therapeutic interventions.
You will work alongside a small Door of Hope daytime support team and service manager to manage risk, coordinate support, and help women access appropriate services across the borough.

We are seeking a compassionate, non-judgemental practitioner who recognises each woman’s strengths and can work safely within gender-informed, trauma-informed and safeguarding frameworks. You will bring experience of complex trauma, multiple disadvantage and multi-disciplinary risk management, alongside a strong commitment to extending the reach and impact of this work.

You will have experience of:
Planning, delivering, and evaluating high-quality learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, supporting children’s individual development, curiosity, and wellbeing.
