Job description

Role Overview

The Talent Set are delighted to partner with an incredible youth charity on an Events Manager role. The successful candidate will oversee a diverse events portfolio, including flagship fundraising dinners, golf days, and sports tournaments. The role focuses on delivering high-quality events aligned with income growth targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering a variety of fundraising and special events, ensuring they meet income and stakeholder engagement goals.
  • Managing event logistics, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful execution.
  • Cultivating relationships with partners, sponsors, and stakeholders to maximise opportunities and support income generation.
  • Collaborating with teams to develop sales strategies and event concepts.
  • Leading and supporting an Events Officer to deliver event activities and outreach.
  • Monitoring event performance and capturing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Considering regional and national opportunities to expand the events portfolio and maximise impact.


Person Specification

  • Proven experience in organising and delivering successful events, ideally within a charity or fundraising context.
  • Creativity and innovative thinking to generate ideas and optimise event opportunities.
  • Organisation skills to manage multiple events simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn, with an openness to stepping into a leadership role.
  • Strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to think strategically on a regional and national level.

Salary: £38,000 - £43,000
