Knights Youth Centre (KYC) was established in 1936 as an independent Christian Charity. In 2025 KYC joined the Oasis family of charities and is now known as Oasis Knights. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Youth and Community Leader to manage and develop the work at Oasis Knights. This is an opportunity to lead a team committed to making a tangible difference in the lives young people, their families and the broader community. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership and operational management, which includes overseeing a range of youth and community activities. A critical aspect of this role involves fundraising, business development, and monitoring the impact of all initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
· Overseeing youth provision, including mentoring, youth clubs and targeted interventions.
· Ensuring effective financial management and income generation to sustain and expand services.
· Managing and growing a team of staff and volunteers, ensuring alignment with Oasis’ ethos and values.
· Building strong partnerships with local stakeholders to support the delivery of impactful youth projects.
· Developing and maintaining monitoring and evaluation frameworks to demonstrate the impact of activities.
· Working with the building narrative to ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, and other statutory requirements.
The successful post holder must have:
· A degree-level qualification or equivalent in youth work, community development or a related field.
· Proven experience in leading youth projects and managing diverse teams.
· Strong fundraising and income generation skills, with the ability to create and implement successful strategies.
· Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
· Knowledge of safeguarding practices and experience working with young people in challenging environments.
· A track record of developing and implementing strategic plans in partnership with stakeholders.

The Job

About the role
Our Employment Coaches support our clients to build their confidence, strengthen their employability and secure work that aligns with their skills, aspirations and circumstances. You’ll do this by guiding women through their job search and applications, and by helping them access opportunities with employers we partner with.
You’ll carry out initial assessments, develop personalised action plans, identify barriers to employment and signpost to specialist support where needed. You’ll also help clients prepare disclosure statements and stay motivated throughout their journey.
You’ll build strong relationships with employers, monitor suitable vacancies and proactively promote clients for opportunities.

Vetting and role requirements
As an organisation committed to supporting women with criminal convictions into employment, we warmly welcome applicants with lived experience of the criminal justice system.
Please note that this role requires a Basic DBS check and HMPPS vetting because it includes work on contracts commissioned by the Ministry of Justice and HMPPS. These vetting processes have specific criteria set by those agencies, which means that not all applicants will be eligible to pass. We want to be transparent about this so that candidates can make informed decisions, while still encouraging anyone who feels they could thrive in this role to apply.

The Compliance Officer will safeguard the charity by contributing to robust internal governance and compliance processes, supporting risk identification and management processes and being mindful of relevant legislation and regulation. This role will be able to interpret regulatory guidance and make suggestions for changes to internal processes, including but not limited to guidance published by the Charity Commission for England and Wales and the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Through the development and utilisation of new and existing processes, you will provide assurance to the charity’s leadership teams that the organisation operates in line with statutory obligations, internal policies and procedures and recognised best practice standards.
This role will co-ordinate and support the development, implementation, and regular review of policies and procedures that underpin strong internal controls and transparent decision-making. Responsible for supporting colleagues with identification, assessment, and monitoring of incidents and operational risks, helping to record proportionate controls and review periods to protect all stakeholders. In doing so, you will promote a culture of accountability, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement across the charity.
This role focuses on the processes that support operational day-to-day governance and compliance, as opposed to overarching governance which falls to the responsibility of the CEO, supported by the Board Secretary/ Executive Assistance role.
Working closely with the Finance and Operations Manager, Quality Assurance Manager and external Data Protection Officer to ensure a co-ordinated and streamlined approach to governance, compliance and risk across the whole organisation.

Providing legal advice
Acting as the Data Protection Officer
You Will Bring:
A strong understanding of internal governance frameworks, ability to implement and coordinate risk management principles and processes and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance. You will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and the confidence to ensure processes are applied across the organisation. With strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you will proactively help others to identify risk and implement and record effective mitigations and controls. You will be able to implement processes which support continuous learning and improvement of policies and procedures. You will work closely with others who have a responsibility for compliance, quality measures and risk identification processes ensuring seamless working across departments.
You will also bring excellent written and spoken communication and have strong interpersonal skills, which enable you to deliver training to others and to foster a culture of integrity around compliance. You will build trusted relationships across the organisation while maintaining independence and objectivity in your own role, having the confidence to speak up if change is needed or processes and practice needs to change.
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised with attention to detail and is able to work collaboratively with a focus on operational delivery.

Polka is seeking a Development and Events Manager to coordinate Polka’s regular giving programmes, manage an established programme of events and oversee a committed portfolio of corporate supporters. As a key member of the Development Team, this is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to help shape Polka's future as a leading children's theatre.
The Development and Events Manager will help donors feel inspired, appreciated, and compelled to support Polka. You will do this through high-quality communications and events for Polka’s donors, potential donors and corporate partners. The postholder will devise and coordinate a varied annual programme of stewardship and cultivation events and take a proactive role in attracting new supporters.
