Who we are: Brake is the national, acclaimed charity delivering the National Road Victim Service, a specialist, accredited, UK-wide support service for road victims, delivering case-managed care for anyone who has been bereaved or seriously injured in a road crash or who is supporting a road crash victim.
Not your average job: This is a highly specialised frontline role supporting people affected by traumatic road deaths and life-changing injuries. We are seeking candidates with a strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and experience supporting people through the impact of traumatic bereavement and/or injury.
You will provide a specialist trauma-informed and bereavement-informed approach to care, helping individuals and families navigate the immediate and long-term impact of sudden loss or catastrophic injury. The role: As a Young Person Intervention Coach (YIC), you will be responsible for the assessment and implementation of tailored intervention coaching plans for each young person on your caseload. You will work to achieve progression outcomes for each young person that includes reducing mental, physical, and emotional harm and supporting each young person transition to positive, thriving lifestyle both on a one-to-one basis, and in partnership with other individuals and agencies involved in the lives of each young person.
Your purpose is to identify, disrupt, challenge, and support young people to move out of harm and prevent further involvement in harmful activities. This will involve targeted street work, specialised one to one harm reduction and life skills coaching. You will receive specialist training in Streets of Growth emotional regulation skills programming which will underpin your Life-Skills Coaching with each young person.
Who we are looking for: You will have robust frontline experience of working with young people, including experience in engaging, assessing, and delivering interventions designed to support young people to build personal resilience and move away from harm and violence. You will also possess sound risk assessment skills and safeguarding knowledge. A key component of the job role is case management and knowledge of good practice models in harm reduction which underpin Streets of Growth practice, is essential.

About the role:
You will provide trauma informed support to service users impacted by terrorism. Service users are at the heart of the work we do; working with the family, you will undertake a comprehensive needs assessment to agree a bespoke Support Plan that will include exploring the needs of children and young people within the family.
You will manage a caseload, completing actions agreed on Support Plans and reviewing needs with service users on a regular basis. You will advocate for service users with external stakeholders, agencies and aspects of the criminal justice system. About the Role:
As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will provide pro-active, high quality, frontline service to victims of domestic abuse through on-going risk assessment, providing individual safety planning, trauma-informed support, guidance, information, and advocacy and enabling victim/survivors to access the services they need in the aftermath of the abuse and trauma they have experienced.
You may work within a Hospital Trust's Safeguarding Team to support both patients and staff in an Acute Hospital setting, who have experienced Domestic Abuse. You will make initial contact with victims of domestic abuse, explaining our services and assessing the impact of crime, or receive referrals from colleagues, in order to provide on-going support and case management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess risks and needs using evidence-based checklists.

About the Role
- You'll be part of the Service Design & Innovation team and work alongside dedicated colleagues who are committed to improving support and outcomes for witnesses and victim/survivors across England and Wales. The main purpose of this role is to support rough sleepers on the RBWM housing pathway. The resettlement team help service users to maintain their tenancies and remove the risk of homelessness. This role supports people with experiences of rough sleeping, substance use and homelessness to access the RBWM housing pathway, using comprehensive assessments and co‑produced Personal Housing Plans to identify needs, risks and opportunities. You'll provide weekly key‑working sessions, help clients maintain Stage 2 temporary accommodation, and motivate them to build independence, engage in recovery, and improve their physical and mental wellbeing. Working collaboratively with education, employment, health and specialist agencies, you'll ensure support is holistic and focused on preventing homelessness wherever possible. Kairos Women Working Together (Kairos) was founded in 1999 by a group of women in Coventry who recognised that those facing multiple disadvantages, and therefore most at risk of sexual exploitation, were falling through the cracks of existing services. From grassroots beginnings, Kairos has grown into a respected, feminist led, specialist women’s organisation rooted in the community it serves.
Over the next 5 years, Kairos will strengthen our new Women’s Hub as a safe, accessible, trauma-informed women’s centre delivering best practice responses, expand our services to meet women’s needs, strengthen partnerships, and influence systems so that no woman is left behind.
To do this we are seeking an organised, empathetic, and proficient individual to ensure the smooth operation of our hub.
This part-time role provides essential front-of-house support—greeting and assisting women arriving at the hub with sensitivity and professionalism —while also handling a broad range of administrative duties. From digital communications to accurate data entry & record keeping, ordering supplies and liaising with key partners and contractors you’ll help ensure our hub is kept safe, clean and ready for us to welcome visitors and women attending our groups and services.

Overview of Post
The Operations & Administration Support role is a vital part-time position responsible for the seamless operational flow of Kairos. Key duties encompass a broad range of administrative functions, from managing the main email inbox and creating visual content to accurate data entry and essential record-keeping. The role provides front-of-house support, welcoming women and visitors attending our Women’s Hub and ensuring its smooth running through monitoring and ordering essential supplies and liaising with CV Life regarding building maintenance and cleaning services. The role requires an organised, empathetic, and proficient administrator capable of supporting front line staff and the Senior Leadership Team.
Main Responsibilities
Digital & Communications

Manage the admin email inbox, responding to all queries promptly and forwarding communications to relevant staff members as appropriate

Open, scan, and distribute post to appropriate recipients

Use online graphic design tools to create visual content such as posters, signs and information sheets for use in the Women’s Hub and on social media.

Reception

Welcome women arriving at the Women’s Hub with empathy and professionalism, responding with particular sensitivity to any who may be distressed

Use knowledge of local services, advocacy, and rights to direct women to appropriate support, so ensuring no one leaves without assistance or alternative referral options

Maintain stock levels of essential supplies (e.g. toilet rolls, paper towels, soap, health and safety products)
