The Senior Product Officer , will work in the Engagement and Fundraising directorate, responsible for all fundraising from individuals at the NSPCC. The Legacies and Products team sits within this directorate and is responsible for management, and innovation across the products portfolio. Reporting to the Fundraising Manager – Products, this role will be responsible for overseeing the development, fulfilment, and delivery of the NSPCC's new and existing fundraising pr oducts, helping us achieve the highest le vels of engagement from both new and existing supporters.

Job purpose

• To support the Fundraising Manager or lead on, the development, delivery and innovation of new and existing fundraising products and propositions

2. Works with the suppliers and vendors (printers, creative agencies, web developers, External Lottery Managers, postage providers) who develop and fulfil our products and campaigns

Main duties and responsibilities

1. Work with the Fundraising Manager and Associate Head of Legacies and Products, to develop and deliver new and existing fundraising products
2. To be responsible and accountable for the fulfilment and delivery of fundraising products, both within the Legacies and Products team , and the wider organisation
3. To be responsible for development and delivery of product development roadmaps and project level management information for new and existing products
4. To create and populate numerical reports and models which communicate current and potential product performance. These will evaluate achievement, forecast results and analyse data, helping stakeholders at all levels understand success
5. To support in the management of the Products team’s budget, particularly with the raising of purchase orders, processing of invoices, and securing quotes from suppliers
6. To be a subject expert on fundraising products, maximising income by sharing knowledge, specialist expertise, best practice, and experience with others across the organisation
7. To lead on, collate and present research which provides insight into the work commercial entities and other charities and consequently informs the way we develop new and existing products
8. To work cross -functionally and cross -departmentally, to ensure that fundraising activities are managed and developed in a way that maximises income for the NSPCC

This will involve improving and implementing best practice procedures primarily regarding facilities and all elements of health and safety across both our sites - ensuring that we comply with regulatory standards.

About you

To be successful, it is important that you demonstrate the following:

• Qualified lawyer in England and Wales (or equivalent jurisdiction) with post-qualification experience advising independently on a broad range of commercial, contract and/or charity law matters.
• Experience in at least 1 of the following areas: general corporate / commercial / contract, regulatory compliance, charity / not-for-profit.
• An understanding of:
  • the UK charity regulatory framework; and
  • the UK's bribery and anti-terrorism laws and practice, including the way in which they may impact an international NGO.

· Providing exceptional customer service, helping generate income that supports BPCN’s charitable work.

· Building strong relationships with existing material donors and identifying new prospective partners.

· Communicating with businesses, organisations and individuals interested in donating materials.

· Coordinating waste and material collections; occasionally assisting with collections or meeting donors on site.

· Documenting stock movement and tracking waste diverted from landfill, producing annual reports for donors.

As a Business Development Officer, you’ll play a key part in helping us secure new contracts and deliver high‑quality services for adults, children and young people. You’ll work with colleagues across the organisation to develop excellent written material for bids and proposals. Your day-to-day will include:

• Writing and editing multiple complex bid responses within live tenders
• Working with colleagues across the organisation to gather information and evidence

About You and the Role

The Front of House Receptionist will help deliver the provision of an efficient and welcoming service as the first point of contact with the Society, together with other administrative duties in support of the Facilities teams operation of the premises and the efficient use of its rooms.

The Front of House Receptionists work as a flexible team. They complement each other and support the wider team in both event management and operation. Key Responsibilities:

• Reception
  • Ensuring that Reception is always staffed between 9.00am and 5:30pm on weekdays, in conjunction with the fellow Front of House Receptionist on duty and other members of the Facilities team.

About the role 

Change Grow Live is a health and social care charity. Across the country, we support people to make positive changes in their lives, including around drug and alcohol use, smoking, homelessness and criminal justice. 

As an Assistant Business Development Officer, you’ll play a key part in helping us secure new contracts and deliver high quality services for adults, children and young people. You’ll support the development of bids and proposals by writing, researching and collaborating with colleagues across the organisation. 

Your day-to-day will include: 

• Writing and editing bid responses 
• Working with colleagues across the organisation and our partner agencies 
• Completing online research, analysing data and collating evidence 
• Creating presentations, diagrams and reports 
• Helping improve how we do things. 

This is a developmental role, and you’ll receive ongoing support, guidance and training to help you progress. 

About you 

We’re looking for excellent writers who share our passion for supporting people to make positive changes in their lives. You don’t need previous experience in business development, but experience in health and social care, writing, sales, research, or data is beneficial.

Interviews will be held 16th – 23rd February 2026 via MS Teams. We’ll also ask shortlisted candidates to complete a written task online during this timeframe, at a time of your choice. We may hold a pre-qualification stage task (e.g. presentation) depending on the number of applicants.

Make the most of a really knowledgeable and supportive team, of managers who genuinely want you to succeed, and of all the opportunities to try new things and develop new skills.”

“What was your route into the team? I was a psychology graduate and teacher training drop out! With my experience of working in schools and academic research into young people’s substance use, I started working as an Education Lead for one of CGL’s young person’s services. After a year I applied to join the Business Development Team, wanting to utilise my experience of working frontline and my love of research and writing. I’ve progressed from Assistant to Officer and then Senior Officer since joining the team in 2022.  

How would you describe the team? Helpful, real and full of knowledge. Everyone comes from different backgrounds and is happy to share their skills, knowledge and learning. I’ve never felt like I’ve asked a silly question, and I don’t feel like I must put a on ‘work mask’.

What would you say to someone thinking of applying? Not to think they can’t do it just because they don’t have experience in bid writing or business development. It’s more important to be able to demonstrate that they’re a confident professional writer and are really passionate about working in the drug and alcohol support sector.” 

Salary Range (pro rata if part time)

CGL points 23 to 28 (£27,861.26 - £32,002.35)
