Brief role description:

​

The NST Client Advisor plays a key role in delivering the support centre function for the programme. Working closely with the Nova Support Team (NST), the Advisor provides initial advice, guidance, and assistance to Veterans who are at risk of contact with the Justice System or are involved in the Justice System.​

​

​Some of your principal responsibilities will include receiving and triaging referrals for veterans who are at risk of, or involved in, the justice system, making timely first contact and completing initial registrations, and providing accurate advice and guidance while maintaining detailed records on the case management system.

​

As a NST Client Advisor, you will need experience in guiding and supporting individuals, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders while remaining highly organised and IT confident.

​

​Ideally, you will also have an understanding of the justice system, experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems and a resilient and adaptable approach.

​

​Please note this role requires an Enhanced DBS check and Police Vetting (NVVP 2).

We are looking for a Digital Engagement and Outreach Lead to join our busy team.

Reporting to the Deputy CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for exploring and introducing innovative digital solutions across teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor with the appropriate qualifications and experience to further develop their career in palliative medicine within a supportive, multidisciplinary hospice environment.

You will work alongside experienced palliative care doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver holistic, person-centred care to patients living with life-limiting illness, and to support their families and carers.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide high-quality medical care to patients admitted to the inpatient unit

· Participate fully in the medical on-call and weekend rota supporting the 24-hour service

· Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic palliative and end-of-life care

· Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement activity

· Participate in teaching and education programmes, including clinical supervision and formal teaching

· Support junior colleagues and contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement

The main duties are similar regardless of previous experience. Doctors with less experience in palliative medicine will receive appropriate supervision and support to undertake all aspects of the role safely and confidently. Ongoing professional development and education will be actively supported.

Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of the role is to develop and foster long-term, multi-faceted relationships with people giving in memory, and deliver compassionate, personalised stewardship, so all supporters feel cared about and their gift is highly valued.

Role purpose

You are responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating the Sector Connected Leaders Programme which is a new scheme and in a pilot stage. The role combines project management, stakeholder coordination and delivery of high-quality events and learning activity across the UK nuclear sector. Managing the delivery of up to 10 intergenerational projects in Greater London, and supporting the Senior Programme Manager and Partnerships Lead with the design of our intergenerational projects through training, resources and events.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leading intergenerational Community and Social Action projects based in London

You will be leading all elements of the design, delivery and evaluation of up to 10 intergenerational projects, for our in person workshops. You’ll bring energy and confidence into the room whilst sensitively considering and accommodating the different needs of the participants, both younger (age groups spanning 7-17 years) and older.

Taking ownership of programme design and development

Liaising with the Senior Programme Manager, you will own specific elements of our programme development, working with participants to generate innovative ideas that enhance social inclusion. You will independently analyse feedback and proactively propose adaptations to ensure our programmes remain fresh, accessible and impactful for all age groups. You will make confident recommendations on programme improvements that advance InCommon’s charitable objects.

Designing activities to be used by different projects across the UK 

You’ll be responsible for designing and sharing high quality activities and resources that can be used by other intergenerational projects in different parts of the country. You’ll involve younger and older people through co-design approaches, and draw these ideas together into beautiful, accessible resources to share.

Developing the InCommon events programme

Collaborating with the communications team, you’ll use your excellent facilitation and presentation skills to design and manage our events programme, specifically our annual Age Friendly Awards and other fundraising and awareness raising events.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and programme participants.  

You’ll lead on all of our communications, and drive engagement with key project stakeholders and participants, curating a wide variety of audiences with warmth, clarity and enthusiasm. Your efficient, thoughtful, professional approach will build trust and lead to close working relationships.

Contributing to the long term development of the our programmes 

You will work closely with our Strategic Management Team and the Senior Programme Manager to grow our work, proactively looking for development opportunities and ways to increase our impact and meet our charitable objectives.

We are looking for a fabulous new marketing person to join our award winning team.

It’s been an incredible few years for Epilepsy Action with a re-brand and national campaigns reaching millions of people. ​We are now an established YouGov Top 200 UK Charity and have grown our financial turnover and scale dramatically.

​

• Despite this there is still so much to do to realise our vision of ‘a world without limits for everyone with epilepsy’ by 2030.
• 1 in 100 people in the UK have epilepsy. Despite this public awareness is incredibly poor and healthcare provision the second worse in Europe.
• Over 1,000 people die from epilepsy every year and most of their families didn’tknow it could be a fatal condition. Over 80% of people with epilepsy face depression and just 27% of working age people find employment.
• People with epilepsy are twice as likely to commit suicide than the general population.

There is a long way to go but we are making progress. By acting as the UK’s community for epilepsy we bring people together to end isolation and improve wellbeing. Last year 73 new people signed up to our community every day. They did so because they are inspired by our work and the impact we are having.

​

At Epilepsy Action we recognise the power of collaboration and teamwork, so our team members with hybrid contracts can expect to work a minimum of 40% at our office in Leeds. On average this is 2 days a week, normally on Mondays and Thursdays, for full-time employees. The expectation to collaborate face-to-face is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do which may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to help us create a world without limits for people with epilepsy

The Role

The challenge now is to double down on the momentum of the past few years. To continue to challenge stigma and raise awareness of the UK’s largest hidden disability.

To do that we need another creative person. Someone who can help to tell great stories that build empathy and resonance. Someone who can think about how we turn that positive feeling into action.

Specifically this person will be responsible for turning creative ideas into a stream of activity that makes sense to our audiences. You will be supported by a fantastic and diverse team bigger than the sum of their parts. They are open to new ideas and are bristling with confidence from recent shared successes.

There is also a brand consistency element to this role. This is not the conventional brand steward who tells people off for using the wrong fonts and logos (it is a bit!). STEM Learning’s vision is ‘improving lives through STEM education’ by empowering young people with the skills and knowledge to thrive through effective teaching and learning.

You will play a pivotal role in evaluating, shaping and developing programme proposals put forward by International Needs partners which have a strong fit with fundraising opportunities in the UK. London National Park City is looking for an organised and adaptable Administration Manager to join our small staff team. This permanent role is essential to strengthening the infrastructure that enables our volunteer Ranger community and partner groups to make neighbourhoods across London greener, healthier and wilder.

As our Administration Manager, you'll be the operational backbone of our organisation – managing our CRM and internal systems, maintaining policies and procedures, and ensuring our staff and 150+ volunteer Rangers have seamless access to the information and resources they need. You'll work across all areas of our operation, from supporting Ranger onboarding and events to assisting with Board meetings and partner communications.

London became the world's first National Park City in 2019, and we are a long-term grassroots movement connecting people and nature across the capital. This role offers the opportunity to help scale our impact, fixing what needs fixing and structuring our work so more communities can take the lead in transforming their local areas.

You'll be an experienced administrator who excels at managing multiple information sources, planning ahead, and making smart decisions about systems and processes. You'll be disciplined and organised with excellent communication skills, but also creative and willing to chip in wherever needed.

You do not need a university degree to apply for this role, and we'll provide you with additional training and mentoring as you develop your skills.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing our internal systems, record keeping, data management, and will provide support for our Ranger and Communications team.

You will work directly with each of our staff, to ensure that they have access to the information and resources that they need to operate effectively, and will keep our policies and procedures up to date. 

You’ll provide additional support as part of the wider staff team for external events and communications, and support board and working group meetings.

• Managing our internal CRM, ensuring information is well structured, records are consistent, up to date and appropriately secure and accessible.

• Liaise with Rangers and other volunteers to ensure that their records are up to date and they have access to all the internal resources that require.

• Support our Community Director in organising Ranger recruitment, inductions, and onboarding.

• Support in organising external events for Rangers and volunteers as part of our seasonal Ranger programme, and Festival events through the year.

• Manage travel arrangements, ticket booking, and tracking attendance at organised Ranger events and Field Trips.

• Support our Executive Director and Community Director in external meetings and communications with partners and supporters.

• Assist in organising Board and Working Group meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking actions.

• Provide regular updates to our staff team and Ranger community on your projects and activities, and overall progress on our programme goals.

• Contribution to half yearly progress reports and final project reports for external stakeholders and funders.

You will report to the Executive Director and work closely with your colleagues in our staff team and with our wider group of volunteers.

Candidate Profile

We’re looking for an organised, thoughtful and considerate colleague who will help us better support our Ranger community, and extend the reach and effectiveness of our staff team.

You will have the following experience:

• Experience in an equivalent administration or operations role, or demonstrable experience of transferable skills.

• Experience working with an online CRM system, such as Monday or Hubspot, as well as proficiency with Google Drive or other office applications.

• Demonstrable experience of supporting a small distributed staff team, and working with volunteers will be a distinct advantage.

• An ability to communicate and coordinate with a wide range of people at all levels of a variety of organisations.

• Excellent oral and written communication in a clear, concise, accessible and effective manner.

• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.

• Ability to effectively plan and prioritise workload within deadlines, and to set and meet high standards of delivery.

• Commitment to the vision of London as a National Park City and the success of the Ranger Programme.

Salary and benefits

You will be joining and fully participating in a unique and inspirational community of changemakers and storytellers, active across London and increasingly around the world. We pay all of our staff at least the London Living Wage.

This is a permanent role and the salary range is £30,000 to £34,000 dependent on experience. This may be a part or full-time role and we are open to applications for flexible working arrangements.

You will have 25 holiday days allowance per year (pro rata for part-time staff).

Following successful completion of a 3 month probationary period, we will enrol you in our Nest pension scheme, and will make additional payments of 4% as long as you contribute 4% of your salary each month.

This role will predominantly be carried out remotely from home and in person at our Visitor Centre in London, with regular meetings and site visits across London, so you must be based in the UK and be prepared for regular travel.

PEAS is looking for a Global Technology and Operations Lead (maternity cover for 12 months) to drive the delivery of impactful digital solutions that strengthen our education programmes across Africa. This strategic role sits within Global Operations and works closely with colleagues in the UK, Uganda and Zambia to design, build and implement technology that improves organisational efficiency and supports high‑quality education delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of major technology initiatives, from scoping and user research through to implementation, rollout and evaluation.
• Manage product roadmaps, requirements, timelines and vendor partnerships to ensure effective delivery.
• Support development of PEAS’ future technology strategy, providing insight on emerging tools and trends.
• Contribute to fundraising efforts for technology projects, including proposal development and representation in funder meetings.
• Provide operational support on wider organisational improvement initiatives where relevant.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years in technology roles, ideally within international development, social enterprise or corporate settings.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, multi‑stakeholder technology projects.
• Strong project management, communication and collaboration skills, able to work across technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Knowledge of software development approaches, databases, enterprise resource planning tools and data systems.
• Understanding of security, privacy and compliance frameworks such as GDPR.
• Experience working with international teams; Sub‑Saharan Africa experience desirable.
• Values‑driven, proactive, collaborative and comfortable working in fast‑moving environments.
