Working as a Night Concierge, you will provide a first point of contact and safeguarding to clients at night. Birkenhead Street is a 31-bed hostel. There is also one emergency bed space which is used by the Camden Safer Street team to move people directly off the street. Our main client group is homeless people 19+ (male and female) including rough sleepers, ) with varied support needs. Birkenhead Street is staffed 24/7 with a combination of Project workers, Night workers, Night Concierges and a small Management team.
Shift pattern will be 4 nights on, 4 nights off, 9.30pm-7.30am (10-hour shifts, no break). This will be working alongside a Night Worker.

Role Purpose:
The Helpline Advisor will be the first point of contact for individuals reporting incidents of anti-Muslim hate. The role requires delivering empathetic, confidential, and high-quality support to callers, as well as accurately recording reports and ensuring all relevant procedures are followed.
Helpline Advisors will support service users via multiple channels—phone, email, SMS, WhatsApp, online chat and web form, by listening actively, offering appropriate information, and making referrals to specialist services where required. The Forensic Advocate will provide professional advocacy to all eligible patients. The role will ensure that patients voices are heard and respected, rights upheld, and facilitate positive engagement with ward staff, professionals involved in their care, treatment planning processes, and relevant meetings. This may be facilitated through attendance at patient's forums, ward meetings, working with patients on a one-to-one basis providing information, representation and support to develop self-advocacy skills; and developing new forums and forms of support.
Key responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have some experience of working in a Forensic Advocacy role, as well as working in an Inpatient setting, and in an Advocacy role. You will have good knowledge of Mental Health Act 2007, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and other relevant legislation.

Reporting to the Emotional Support Service Manager, the team will deliver a professional counselling service to stroke survivors, carers and relatives. Counselling sessions are designed to help clients to develop emotional resilience, readjust to life after stroke and prepare to reintegrate into community life.

· Providing one to one counselling to stroke survivors, carers and relatives including those with communication or cognitive difficulties

· An advanced diploma in integrative, humanistic or person-centred counselling/psychotherapy; for example, BACP recognised course or equivalent (i.e. 450 hours skills and theory, 100 hours of supervised practice, 20 hours of personal therapy)
· A minimum of 1 year post qualification supervised clinical practice
· BACP registration (or equivalent) and actively working towards accreditation
· Experience of delivering short-term counselling
· Experience of working with people with cognitive impairment
· A flexible approach to hours and working arrangement, being able to work independently.
This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role. About the role:
We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker on a full-time basis (35 hours, 5 days per week), to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our London & South East Team to families in the local area, at a time where they need it most.
Reporting to the Family Support Manager of the London & South East Care Team and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child or young person has a life threatening or terminal illness. You will enjoy responsibility for managing your own schedule, remaining flexible to the needs of the families on your caseload.
Having worked in a demanding and emotional environment you have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and helping people; and having provided bereavement support to families, you understand processes of grief, loss and change - and how best to help others deal with its impact.
