You will provide support and advocacy to women aged 16 years + from the global majority who have suffered from domestic and/or sexual violence, racial inequality or oppression.
The postholder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with external agencies, and engage in outreach with faith-based groups and churches to help ensure our service is accessible to women from this marginalised community.
You will also be required to support the duty line to meet service demands
About You
You will be highly organised, self-motivated and passionate about ending VAWG and safeguarding. Your can-do approach and clear commitment to Solace’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer will be essential to the success in this role. Ideally, you will have experience of working with survivors of domestic and/or sexual violence in a multi-agency setting, along with a good working knowledge of the criminal and civil justice systems. You will be able to provide emotional and practical support to victims of VAWG.
A relevant qualification in VAWG or significant experience is desirable but not essential.
Additional Information
The postholder will be based at our Bexley service, working full-time from Monday to Friday and providing on-site support to survivors. Given the nature of this role, we are unable to offer hybrid working for this position.
The salary for this post is £29,385 - £30,671 (Unqualified) or £30,671 - £33,438 (Qualified).

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced trusts and grants fundraiser to lead the Charity's trusts, grants and foundations strategy. The role aims to secure multi-year four, five and six-figure grants and build a reliable, sustainable income stream. Reporting to the Fundraising Lead, you'll develop and manage a robust pipeline end-to-end (research, cultivation, application, reporting and renewal), write compelling cases for support and tailored proposals, and work closely with service delivery and finance colleagues to shape fundable projects with clear, measurable outcomes. To do this you’ll have an understanding of mass participation fundraising with excellent multi-tasking skills and attention to detail. Helpful and collaborative in your approach, an interest in relationship fundraising is essential.
As well as your keen interest in project management and relationship-building, this role will allow you to hone your excellent planning and time management skills as you’ll lead on several projects from start to finish.

Primary location of role and hybrid working
This role is primarily based in our London office. Our hybrid working model allows you to work up to 3 days per week at home.
The salary range is:
£26,936 to £27,500per annum London based
