Stockton Parish Church 

Stockton Parish Church (SPC) is an Anglican Church with an Evangelical Charismatic tradition in the centre of Stockton on Tees. SPC is a diverse worshiping community of around 200 people, a quarter of which are under 18. 

Their mission at SPC is: ‘for everyone to know who they are, whose they are, and the difference they are called to make in the world around them’. They launched a 5 year vision in January 2022 to see their worshiping community grow to 500 people and to plant 3 churches. As the 30th most deprived parish in the country, part of their vision is committed to the long-term transformation of Stockton, seeking the peace and prosperity of the town for generations to come. This is expressed through a number of initiatives and partnerships, including the development of the Spear Centre. Spear Stockton forms part of this wider strategy, supporting young people into work and education as a key contribution to the flourishing of the local community. 

Key Information:

• Salary: from £27,088 - £31,691 FTE (£21,607 - £25, 353 pro rata)
• Part-time, 29.6 hours per week (4 days, Monday to Thursday)

• The Spear Programme offers a rewarding opportunity to work with young people, but it requires a dedicated commitment. Due to the term-based nature of the programme (i.e. two consecutive 4-week programmes in autumn, spring and summer), we expect annual leave to be taken between, rather than during terms

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

It is an exciting and important time to be joining us at Crisis. We work with thousands of people across England, Scotland, and Wales so they can leave homelessness behind for good. We have recently adapted the way our services work to maximise our impact in ending homelessness. We have increased our capacity to work with people one to one and strengthened our ability to support those people facing the most barriers to preventing or ending their homelessness.

We offer people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless housing and benefits advice, 1-2-1 coaching, advocacy, courses and peer group sessions alongside practical services of showers and laundry for street homeless.

About the role

As Engagement and Assessment Worker, you will be the first point of contact for someone who comes to Crisis for help to end their homelessness. You will welcome people and listen carefully to their story whilst providing information, advice, and guidance. This role ensures that anyone who contacts the service will get an immediate response from the Engagement and Assessment team. The team will be making sure that anyone who would benefit from services, support and advice elsewhere will be signposted and referred. When we're best placed to help, people will be rapidly allocated a Crisis Lead Worker.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience of working with homeless or other vulnerable groups and understanding of the importance of respecting confidentiality, showing empathy and sensitivity, and working in a boundary way.
• Experience of assessing presenting needs and working in a Psychologically Informed Environment, and in a way that ensures that members with all levels of need can access the service.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering the highest standard of customer care and high quality IAG.
• Good knowledge of homelessness, housing and welfare legislation and Safeguarding procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills including effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to deal with challenging situations with a calm approach.
• Ability to manage a caseload, and successful relationships with external service providers and partners.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

The role 

In collaboration with the Head of Communications and Director of Income Generation you will help develop Farleigh Hospice’s supporter engagement and individual giving programme, with a focus on retention, growing regular giving and lifetime value.

A key part of your role will be leading the development of our approach to supporter journeys and stewardship frameworks, working closely with the fundraising team to ensure a consistent and high-quality experience across all fundraising channels, and ensuring every supporter feels valued, motivated and connected to our mission.

Purpose of the Role

The Head of Operations will play a central leadership role within Bristol Avon Rivers Trust, ensuring the organisation operates safely, effectively, efficiently and sustainably as it continues to grow.

The Head of Major Donors will play a critical role in strengthening and stewarding Mission 44’s relationships with high-value donors, philanthropists, and strategic supporters.

This role will work alongside the Chief Engagement Officer to lead the development and delivery of a thoughtful, personalised and impactful Major Donors programme that deepens donor pipeline and engagement, increases contributions, strengthens long-term relationships, and inspires continued investment in Mission 44’s mission and impact.

The successful candidate will combine exceptional relationship management skills, a solid network of donors, strong project coordination and communications, with strategic thinking.

They will work closely across fundraising, communications, programmes and leadership teams to ensure donors experience meaningful engagement with Mission 44’s work, values and community.

Requirements

MAJOR DONOR CULTIVATION AND RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (70%) 

• Lead the organisation’s cultivation of new donors and deepening of the major donor pipeline. 
• Personally lead the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major donors and prospects for six/seven-figure gifts.
• Lead the implementation of Mission 44’s global major donor stewardship strategy, ensuring all major donors feel engaged in and inspired. 
• Manage and coordinate stewardship plans for high-value donors and philanthropic partners
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with major supporters through thoughtful and personalised engagement
• Develop tailored donor journeys that reflect supporter interests, motivations and impact priorities
• Identify opportunities to deepen donor engagement and increase long-term support
• Provide administrative support for the Global Growth Committee

About the Role

As Marketing Manager, you will support the organisation’s public profile, audience engagement and income generation objectives through the delivery of effective, audience-focused and strategically aligned marketing activity.

Senior Trust & Grant Fundraiser

Salary: up to £33,000

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Trust & Grant Fundraiser to lead and grow our charitable income from trusts, foundations and grant-making bodies.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a key strategic role in securing sustainable funding, both restricted and unrestricted, that enables Carers’ Resource to enhance, expand and support our existing services and allows us to invest in organisational infrastructure, website and digital technology.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of personally securing at least £200,000 per annum in trust and grant income and will be confident developing compelling funding applications, building long-term funder relationships, and identifying new income opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a trust and grants fundraising strategy aligned with organisational priorities.
• Research and identify suitable trust, foundation and statutory funding opportunities.

This Volunteer Manager role focuses on recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers to ensure effective program delivery and strong community engagement. Key responsibilities of the Volunteer Manager include developing outreach strategies and partnerships to attract diverse volunteers, coordinating interviews and background checks, and providing orientation and ongoing training.
The role also involves matching volunteers to suitable roles, managing schedules, monitoring performance, and fostering a positive, inclusive volunteer culture through recognition initiatives. About The Noah Jordan Foundation

The Noah Jordan Foundation is a fast-growing UK children’s charity established in memory of Noah, who died in 2024 from POLG mitochondrial disease, a rare and devastating paediatric mitochondrial disorder which can cause severe neurological deterioration and liver failure in children, and for which there is currently no effective treatment or cure.

Following Noah’s death, his family made him a promise: that his legacy would help change the future for children and families affected by mitochondrial disease.

The Foundation was established to deliver that promise through three charitable objectives:

Medical Research

Funding pioneering medical research to improve clinical management, accelerate the development of effective treatments and ultimately help drive progress towards cures for rare paediatric mitochondrial diseases, including POLG-related mitochondrial disorders.

Raising Awareness

Increasing awareness and understanding of mitochondrial disease amongst healthcare professionals, organisations and the wider public through campaigns, events, education and training.

Supporting Children and Families

Providing practical and emotional support to children and families affected by mitochondrial disease through information, resources, services and financial assistance where possible.

Since launching in September 2024, thanks to our incredible community, the Foundation has grown rapidly, raising more than £400,000 in just over 18 months.

• Fully funded a three-year medical research PhD programme into POLG mitochondrial disease at the Mitochondrial Research Group (MRG) at Newcastle University, under the guidance of one of the UK’s leading Professors of Paediatric Mitochondrial Medicine, who also serves as a Charity Medical Advisor to the Foundation.
• Supported affected children, families and organisations across the UK.

The Opportunity

The Noah Jordan Foundation is building towards becoming a nationally recognised force for change within paediatric mitochondrial disease research, awareness and family support.

As the Foundation’s first full-time employee, the Charity Manager will play a key role in shaping the future culture, structure and direction of the organisation.

Reporting directly to the Charity Director and working closely with the Board of Trustees, you will help develop organisational strategy, grow income, strengthen operations, build partnerships and support the long-term sustainability of the Foundation.

The Charity Manager will act as the Foundation’s operational and fundraising lead, helping drive continued growth and maximise impact for children and families affected by mitochondrial disease.

We are seeking a CPD & Partnerships Coordinator to support the development and delivery of CPD programmes and develop relationships with partners across healthcare, education, and community sectors.

The 4 Day Week Foundation lead the UK's national campaign for a four-day working week. We are campaigning across the UK for a four-day, 32 hour working week with no loss of pay for workers.

With the four-day week now firmly on the agenda in the UK as a viable policy change to improve wellbeing and productivity, and with hundreds of companies and tens of thousands of workers already benefitting, the organisation is moving into the next phase of its four-day week rollout, building on the progress made so far.

This is an exciting full time role working four days per week (28 hours) leading one of the UK’s most prominent campaigns. You will be responsible for leading a small staff team, punching above its weight in terms of impact. You will be supported on organisational strategy by the Board of Directors.​

Core Strategic Responsibilities​

• Lead and manage the organisation’s day-to-day operations, ensuring effective delivery of agreed strategic objectives and campaigns, working closely with the Board of Directors on organisational priorities.

• Lead organisational fundraising strategy and income generation, including the development of funding opportunities and relationships with donors and partners.

• Act as the primary media spokesperson for the organisation, managing press engagement and representing the Foundation across broadcast, print and digital media.
