The Communications Co-ordinator plays an important role in helping MindOut communicate its impact, services, campaigns and community voice to a wide range of stakeholders. Job Summary
This varied role supports ReMind UK’s multi-functional Engagement Team, providing administrative and co-ordination support across Fundraising, Communications and Volunteering as well as our expanding post diagnosis support programme. The post holder will work with Head of Engagement and the Post Diagnosis Support Programme Manager providing high level administration and customer service, ensuring the team deliver efficient communications and an excellent supporter and beneficiary experience.
ReMind UK overview
ReMind UK is an independent charity and internationally renowned centre for research, diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. Our research aims to improve life for people with dementia and their families and carers, and to find drug and non-drug treatments for people with conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and other diseases predominantly affecting older people. Our contracted NHS Memory Clinic service, private memory assessments and allied activities provide support to people affected. We are currently in an ambitious phase of development looking to increase our clinical and academic research programme. We work closely with the Universities of Bath, Bristol and other research Institutions, both nationally and internationally and with the Royal United Hospital, Bath.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support the Engagement Team through undertaking regular and ad hoc administrative tasks for colleagues as requested and as agreed by Head of Engagement and Post Diagnosis Support Programme Manager.
2. Support the setup of post diagnosis support interventions as required through confirming room bookings, supporting development of weekly session scheduling, including liaising with external and internal Facilitators, monitoring and purchasing refreshments, creative materials and session sundries.
3. Ensure that registers taken to events and course sessions are confirmed and communicated to the team on time and include the information required to safeguard attendees and maintain accurate reporting.
4. Ensure the effective collection, management and reporting of supporter and beneficiary data, including enquiries and expressions of interest in events and courses. Maintain accurate, secure and well-structured records to support reporting, analysis and engagement activities.
5. Liaise with Post Diagnosis Support Facilitators to collate beneficiary feedback and project evaluation data, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained for regular monitoring and reporting.
6. Maintain supporter and payment data on CRM, sending thank you and retention communications as required.
7. Work with Communications colleagues to ensure that data preferences are accurately captured across digital platforms and maintained on CRM.
8. Support the team through co-ordinating the processing of any actionable feedback or complaints received from supporters or beneficiaries in accordance with ReMind UK’s complaints procedure.
9. Speak to beneficiaries expressing an interest or being referred to the Post Diagnosis Support programme, ensuring they are signposted or appropriately allocated a suitable event or course and that any modifications necessary are communicated to the team to ensure participant safety.
10. Gather stories, testimonials and images from Facilitators and beneficiaries maintaining accurate records of permissions for use.

For over 135 years we have brought people together through volunteering, community activity and neighbourly support. Today we work with older adults, families and local residents to reduce loneliness, improve wellbeing and strengthen community connections.
We are seeking a Neighbourhood Health Coordinator to help strengthen the relationship between local communities and health services whilst leading an exciting new community outreach programme focused on healthy ageing and frailty prevention.
Purpose of the Role
The Neighbourhood Health Coordinator will play a key role in connecting older residents with local health, wellbeing and community support.
Working across Time & Talents, local Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs), social prescribing services and community partners, the postholder will coordinate a programme of neighbourhood outreach activity designed to improve health outcomes, reduce loneliness and support older people to age well.
The role will combine programme coordination, partnership development, community engagement and direct delivery.
The postholder will spend time embedded within local health partnerships, helping to strengthen collaboration between statutory and voluntary sector organisations and ensuring local residents can access the support they need.
Key Responsibilities
Community Health Outreach
· Coordinate and support delivery of a programme of community outreach events across Southwark.
· Work alongside community organisations to engage older residents who may be isolated, vulnerable or at risk of frailty.
· Support residents to access local services, activities and community assets.
· Promote prevention, wellbeing and healthy ageing messages.
Partnership Development
· Build strong relationships with:
o Integrated Neighbourhood Teams
o Social Prescribing teams
o Primary Care Networks
o Community health services
o VCSE organisations
o Housing and faith partners
· Act as a key point of contact between Time & Talents and local health partners.
· Identify opportunities for collaboration and service development.
Community Engagement
· Engage with residents in community settings including sheltered housing, community centres, faith venues and neighbourhood hubs.
· Ensure outreach activities are accessible, inclusive and responsive to community need.
· Gather resident feedback and insight to influence future service delivery.
Programme Coordination
· Coordinate delivery schedules, partner engagement and event logistics.
· Monitor project activity and outcomes.
· Collect and report data in line with project requirements.
· Produce case studies and examples of impact.
Integration and Learning
· Attend relevant neighbourhood health meetings and forums.
· Share learning between partners and contribute to service improvement.
· Support the development of sustainable pathways between health and community services.
General
· Work in accordance with Time & Talents policies and procedures.
· Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.

The Part-Time Facilities and Operations Assistant plays a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of The Thornbury Centre. Working alongside a small team of staff and volunteers, the postholder will help ensure that the Centre remains safe, clean, welcoming for all users, tenants, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
This is a varied and hands-on role, involving assisting the Centre Manager in building operations, room set-up, health and safety checks, basic maintenance tasks, and supporting the delivery of activities and events. As a public-facing member of the team, the successful candidate will be friendly, approachable, reliable, and committed to providing an excellent experience for everyone who uses the Centre.
The role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the life of the local community by helping to create an environment where people feel welcomed, supported, and able to participate in a wide range of activities and services.
