Employee Relations Assistant

The Employee Relations Team is a vital part of our HR department, supporting managers across the organisation with matters including conduct, capability, absence, redundancy and a wide range of other employee relations topics. We are now looking for an Employee Relations Assistant to support our Advisers while also developing your own skills and responsibilities.
This is an ideal role for someone currently working in HR administration or HR support, who is working towards (or already has) a professional HR qualification-ideally CIPD Level 5-and is keen to gain deeper ER experience.
What you’ll be doing
In this position you will work closely with our experienced team of eight Employee Relations Advisers. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of ER activities, take part in case discussions, and gradually take ownership of less complex matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
Employee Relations Support
- Acting as the first point of contact for employee relations, policy and contractual queries.
- Supporting and coaching managers through first stage queries and HR processes.
- Attending ER meetings alongside advisers and contributing to case discussions.
- Applying HR policies and procedures with accuracy and confidence.
HR Operations
- Assisting advisers with case preparation and documentation.
- Maintaining and updating employee records.
- Providing advice on terms and conditions of employment.
Project Work
- Contributing to HR and operational projects as required, including policy development and process improvement.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, confident in supporting others, and keen to build a solid foundation in employee relations.
Essential skills & experience:
- Experience in an HR Administrator, HR Assistant or HR Coordinator role.
- Confidence in advising managers on HR procedures and basic ER issues.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Competent user of MS Office and HR systems.
- CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent) and ideally working towards Level 5.
- A basic understanding of employment law principles and developments.

Corporate Partnerships Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organised Corporate Partnerships Coordinator to help deliver exceptional stewardship and engagement for corporate supporters.
Position: Corporate Partnerships Coordinator
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Location: Remote within the UK with occasional travel
Hours: Full time
Contract: Permanent

About the Role
This role plays an important part in supporting corporate partnerships and ensuring every partner feels valued and connected to the organisation’s work.
You will coordinate communications, manage administration and support events and engagement activities while maintaining accurate records and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the delivery of stewardship plans for corporate partners
- Acting as a first point of contact for partner enquiries
- Drafting communications including partner updates and newsletters
- Coordinating partner events, webinars and engagement opportunities
- Maintaining accurate partnership records within the CRM system
- Supporting donation processing and partnership reporting
- Assisting with research and preparation for partnership proposals
- Coordinating meetings, agendas and internal team support
About You
You will be organised, proactive and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
You will bring:
- Experience in supporter care, account management, customer service or administration
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with CRM or database systems
- Confidence managing multiple tasks and priorities
- A proactive approach and professional manner
About the Organisation
This organisation works in partnership with Indigenous and local communities to protect rainforests and tackle the climate crisis. By supporting community led conservation and providing practical resources, they help protect vital ecosystems while strengthening resilience against environmental threats.

We are recruiting a Project Manager to lead development and delivery of the project that will drive landscape recovery by bringing a more diverse range of people in caring for our shared natural and cultural heritage. The Project Manager will manage the delivery of this exciting new project, working closely with the whole Campaign for National Parks team.
