About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Fundraising CRM Manager to lead the development and management of our fundraising CRM and donor engagement systems. This is a pivotal role at an exciting moment of growth, ensuring our CRM is used strategically to strengthen donor relationships, improve fundraising performance, and support income growth across our international network.

Working closely with the Fundraising Director, you will oversee day‑to‑day CRM management, donor stewardship (up to £5,000), prospect research, reporting, and support for campaigns and events. You will also provide insight and data that underpin high‑value fundraising.

Key Responsibilities

CRM Management & Development

• Lead the daily administration and development of the fundraising CRM (Salesforce or Beacon).
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and compliance with data protection standards.
• Build donor segmentation, pipelines and automated journeys to improve retention and engagement.
• Produce regular insight reports, dashboards and monthly financial tracking.
• Work with the Digital Officer to drive system improvements and train colleagues in CRM use.

Donor Stewardship & Fundraising Support

• Deliver excellent donor care, ensuring timely acknowledgements, updates and impact reporting.
• Steward donors giving up to £5,000, nurturing long‑term relationships.
• Support the delivery of digital, regular giving and peer‑to‑peer fundraising campaigns.
• Develop donor journeys that build loyalty to the St John mission.
• Collaborate with Communications to share compelling stories of impact.

Prospect Research & Reporting

• Research and profile new donors, trusts and partners across the global St John network.
• Provide monthly income and pledge tracking reports.
• Manage the fundraising pipeline, forecasting income and identifying growth opportunities.
• Prepare briefings and reports to support high‑value donor engagement.

Donor Growth & Global Engagement

• Develop strategies to grow the donor base, with a focus on gifts under £5,000.
• Use global awareness moments (e.g. St John Day, World First Aid Day) to acquire and retain supporters.
• Evaluate campaign performance and recommend improvements.

Support for High‑Value Fundraising

• Provide data insights, research and CRM support for major donor cultivation.

Person Specification

Essential

• At least 3 years’ experience in fundraising, CRM management or donor development.
• Proven experience managing a fundraising CRM (Salesforce, Beacon or similar).
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to translate data into insight.
• Understanding of donor care and stewardship principles.
• Experience cultivating and securing gifts from individual donors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a donor‑centred approach.

You will also contribute to gap analysis activities and work closely with Process Owners and their teams to support knowledge transfer and process handovers through coaching, awareness, and clear documentation, ensuring operational system changes are effectively embedded.

The role involves producing high quality operational system process and procedure documentation in collaboration with CRM Leads, using their guidance to shape clear and practical process definitions. You will apply your knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, including entity creation, workflows, business rules and business process flows, to enhance procedures while continuously referencing project scope and objectives to ensure process change analysis remains relevant and aligned with programme goals.

You will coordinate, communicate and organise project and organisational resources to support deliverables, while championing positive organisational change through the Central Platform programme. The role also includes participating in solution testing where required and collaborating effectively with third-party partners, the CRM steering group, CRM Project Manager, CRM Leads and the CRM Business Analyst to ensure successful delivery.

About you

You will be experienced in process or business change with a proven track record in CRM implementations and an interest in emerging Microsoft technologies, specifically MS Dynamics 365. 

Possessing in-depth functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, your effective verbal, written, and presentation skills enable you to work with both technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels of an organisation. You will be adept at negotiating, influencing, and engaging with stakeholders, quickly building credibility with colleagues and external parties.

Job Purpose:

The CRM Officer plays a pivotal role, providing the day-to-day support needed to ensure there is a functioning CRM system for the Fundraising team. About Access

Access - The Foundation for Social Investment works to ensure that charities and social enterprises can access the finance they need to sustain or grow their impact. Access is currently implementing a new CRM and Grant Management System (Salesforce-based, delivered by implementation partner Vera) to support its programmes, partner relationships, and reporting needs. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the system is delivered well and that Access is ready to operate it confidently at go-live.

Position Overview

Access is seeking a Salesforce Implementation & Delivery Manager on a fixed-term basis to support the delivery of its Salesforce-based CRM and Grant Management System.

Reporting to the Project Manager, this role will combine:

• strong project coordination and delivery management,
• hands-on Salesforce CRM expertise, and
• practical change management capability to help staff adapt to new systems and ways of working.

As Access does not have Salesforce expertise in-house, this role will act as a key internal point of reference, helping to review and sense-check design decisions, manage delivery risks, and ensure that the system being built is usable, well understood, and ready for go-live.

This is not a developer or Salesforce Administrator role, but it does require strong Salesforce CRM experience, alongside proven ability to support users through change, structure complex projects, and keep delivery on track. The role will continue through early post–go live to support transition into business-as-usual and handover to the incoming System Administrator.

About Us

At Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS) we champion animal welfare around the world. We send vets where they are needed most, provide expert veterinary training in hard-to-reach places, and ship urgent aid supplies worldwide, every day of the year.

We deploy teams of vets and vet nurses, send equipment and supplies to help struggling organisations on the front line of animal welfare, and train vets at our international training centres in India, Thailand, Malawi and the Galápagos Islands.  We also work on strategic one health projects such as rabies elimination campaigns with Governments and NGOs all over the world. Our Mission Rabies project runs mass canine vaccination and community education in the world’s worst hotspots for the disease. Last year, WVS helped an animal every 14 seconds. We trained over 4,800 vets, deployed teams of vets all over the world, and sent over 1,700 parcels of veterinary supplies to 261 charities in 71 countries.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage our CRM system, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR).
• Support in the review of the effectiveness of our current CRM and the potential search for an alternative platform if required.

About this job

The MS Society has made a huge investment in technology to implement a new CRM system to enable us to improve in use of our data and to streamline contact with the MS Community, including Services, Fundraising and directed communications. This is the Organisation’s key, central system.

90% of all funding for the charity is processed through the CRM system including Gift Aid, regular giving and special events, Direct Debits. This role is critical and responsible for the end-to-end processes working and, therefore, the income being processed and collected in a timely fashion.

Operations & People Support Officer

Reporting to: Operations & People Team Leader

Job Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the Charity’s operations. You will be the first point of contact for supporters and will deliver outstanding customer care and donor stewardship.

You will build strong working relationships with Charity colleagues, donors (existing and potential), volunteers and Trust staff. The role supports the fundraising teams, assists with the hospital and online shop, and plays a key part in coordinating and administering the Charity’s volunteering function. You will also provide vital People (HR) administration and process support.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Fundraising & Office

• Undertake day-to-day administrative tasks as directed by the Operations & People Manager and Team Leader, including preparing letters, reports and memos to a high professional standard.

• Handle sensitive information appropriately, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

• Deal with all incoming telephone enquiries in a professional and helpful manner, directing calls correctly and taking accurate messages.

• Support the efficient running of the public Charity office by welcoming donors and visitors in a friendly and professional way.

• Provide excellent customer care and donor stewardship in every interaction.

• Manage incoming mail, ensuring it is opened, distributed and responded to promptly.

• Process donations in line with established receipting procedures.

• Adhere to audit procedures and liaise with the Charity’s auditors.

• Maintain filing systems, ensuring safe storage and regular archiving of records.

• Support the senior management team, including organising meetings and room bookings.

• Undertake banking procedures, ensuring donations are accurately recorded and banked.

Hospital & Online Shop

• Process online shop orders in a timely manner.

• Run regular online sales reports for the Operations Manager.

• Support the management of the hospital and online shop, ensuring stock levels are maintained and products are well presented.

• Provide customer service in the hospital Atrium shop and support front desk cover as required.

• Cash up the till, ensuring all sales are accurately recorded and passed for banking.

Database Support

• Process donations on the CRM database, liaising with fundraising teams to ensure accuracy, including online platforms.

• Produce analytical reports from the fundraising database for audit purposes.

People / HR Support

Provide People/HR administrative support in the following areas:

• Recruitment, including coordinating recruitment and induction of new starters.

• Volunteer coordination, ensuring a robust process from expression of interest through to induction.

• Ensuring all staff have DBS checks in line with Trust requirements.

• Administration of staff annual leave and absence reporting.

• Creating staff correspondence, including pay award, furlough and other required communications.

Other Duties

• Act as an outstanding advocate for Alder Hey Children’s Charity, in line with organisational values.

• Be an active and supportive team member, contributing to team development and collaborative working.

• Attend and support fundraising events where required.

• Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager.

• Develop overall data management structure of supporter records and processes.  Develop and maintain information management structures in the CRM system to enable accurate and timely information and reporting.
