Are you experienced in leading a team within Service Charges?
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Service Charges team as Regional Service Charge Manager. Based from our office in Basingstoke, you'll combine office and home working in line with our hybrid approach, with occasional travel to our Wembley office for team meetings.
The Role
Reporting into the Head of Service Charge Setting and Administration, you'll be responsible for managing and coordinating the Regional Service Charges team in the South West region in the delivery of the service charge calculations (all tenure types) and annual service charge statements to customers in line with legal and regulatory requirements. The portfolio consists of approximately 20,000 units with a total annual service charge income budget of c.£20 million. Responsibilities include:
Managing the Regional Service Charge team with a focus on articulating a clear vision, providing direction, and promoting a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement
Setting the annual service charge expenditure and income budget across all tenures within the region
Accountability for the annual service charge estimate and final account process, ensuring the risk associated with rechargeable service charges is effectively managed and regulatory time scales are met
Working collaboratively across the business to support continuous service improvement and deliver excellent customer service to customers across different tenure types, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
Reviewing and approving the certification of annual service charges, documenting the calculation and apportionment process, including the reports and supporting documentation to facilitate the certification
Producing and analysing regular reports on recoverable repairs and maintenance expenditure, estimated service charge income and ad-hoc reports dependant on business requirements
What we're looking for
You should have previous experience in a similar management role within service charges. You'll need to demonstrate strong technical knowledge, being adept in managing fixed and variable charges in a large and complex setting, preferably in a housing context. You'll also need:
To be an experienced leader, skilled in developing high-performing teams and consistently maintaining high operational standards
Thorough understanding of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 (as amended) and other guidance and best practice for service charges
To be qualified by experience or a qualified accountant with a solid understanding of accounting practices and concepts including account reconciliations

About the role
As Legacy & In Memory Fundraiser, you’ll play a vital part in supporting the Legacy & In Memory Manager to deliver our legacy and in memory fundraising strategy. Your focus will be on day-to day stewardship, engaging with supporters and handling administration. You’ll act as a first point of contact for more complex enquiries, providing excellent service and helping to build meaningful relationships.
Working closely with colleagues across Fundraising, Admin and Communications, you’ll help maximise opportunities for legacy and in memory giving, maintain accurate records and ensure supporter journeys are well managed. The nuts and bolts of the job:
• Support the Legacy & In Memory Manager in implementing legacy and in memory activities and campaigns.

• Work with the Admin team to respond promptly and appropriately to supporter enquiries, including acting as a first point of contact for more complex enquiries.

What you’ll need to bring to the role
• Experience of managing supporter or customer relationships, ideally within a fundraising environment.

About this role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Individual Giving and Legacy Assistant to join the Charity team here at Alder Hey, the UK’s busiest Children’s Hospital.
This role sits within the Individual Giving and Legacy team which includes an Individual Giving Fundraiser and a Legacy and In Memory Fundraiser. The role also works closely with colleagues across the community, marketing and finance teams to deliver supporter journeys, website content, and the smooth running of fundraising campaigns.
The post-holder supports the generation of income and delivers an excellent supporter experience. They ensure supporters and enquirers receive a prompt, warm, and appropriate response at every stage of their journey with the Alder Hey Children's Charity.
The role is responsible for maintaining accurate supporter records on the Charity's CRM system (Salesforce), helping supporter administration (including Gift Aid, tribute pages, and regular giving processes), and assisting with the coordination of legacy enquiries, pledgers, and the free Will Writing service.

The Case Manager will strive to make contact and work on a one to one basis with perpetrators whose victims have been identified as high risk at MARAC to pro- actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioural change and link to complementary services. To do this, the Case Manager will work with existing agencies in each pilot site to design a co-ordinated, strategic individual intervention plan to address identified needs and risks and promote understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours. Throughout the intervention the Case Manager will work closely with the IDVA service to review risk, develop safety plans and improve outcomes for all parties involved.
The Case Manager will be responsible over the long term for delivering outcomes, to achieve behaviour change with each service user.
Responsibilities Interagency work
· Work to embed the Case Manager role into multi-agency responses to domestic abuse in the area.
· Effective understanding and implementation of institutional advocacy by pro- socially challenging partner agencies, acknowledging best practice and striving for change to benefit the individual, the service and the sector.
· Support other professionals in responding to service users in a way that is coterminous with the aims and ethos of the Drive Project.
· Working closing with other professionals to ensure that risk management and safeguarding duties are effectively met.

The role will suit an experienced fundraiser with a proven track record in growing grant income, successfully managing and delivering grant fundraising programmes and securing five and six figure gifts. The Country Land and Business Association (CLA) is the membership organisation for owners of land, property and businesses in rural England and Wales. We champion the interests of our members and provide expert advice, services and support to help them succeed.
We're now looking for a Membership Relations Manager to join our South East team. This is a varied and rewarding role, combining account management, member engagement, data analysis and stakeholder relationship management. You'll play a key part in ensuring our members receive an exceptional experience throughout their membership journey, helping us strengthen engagement, increase retention and demonstrate the value of CLA membership.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing member relationships and supporting members throughout their CLA journey.
- Delivering key elements of our member retention strategy, including onboarding, engagement and renewal activities.
- Building strong relationships with members and identifying opportunities to increase engagement with CLA services.
- Producing and analysing membership and retention reports to identify trends and opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate membership records and supporting the ongoing development of our CRM system.
- Gathering member feedback and insights to help shape CLA services and priorities.
- Working closely with colleagues across regional, sales and policy teams.
- Representing the CLA at member-facing events, shows and meetings across the South East region.

What you’ll bring to the role
- Experience in account management, membership, customer service or a similar relationship-focused role.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of people.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using CRM or database systems.
You should be willing and able to learn, keep up to date with current issues affecting CLA members, and develop an understanding of the CLA’s purpose, ambitions, membership products and services.
Working arrangements
This is a full-time, permanent role based at our South East office in Andover, with requirement to work in the office at least 3 days per week.
The role involves regular travel across the South East region, with occasional travel elsewhere in England and Wales. Some evening work and occasional overnight stays may be required. A full UK driving licence is essential as the role requires travel to locations

Later Living Community Manager
We're looking for a dedicated Later Living Community Manager to join our West London team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting residents aged 55+ to live independently in a safe, welcoming and thriving community.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a Later Living community, acting as the main point of contact for residents, resolving housing and maintenance issues, promoting wellbeing and community engagement, and ensuring high standards of health, safety and compliance.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver excellent housing management and customer service to residents.
- Support residents to maintain their independence and access appropriate services when needed.
- Manage tenancy sign-ups, resident enquiries and community communications.
- Monitor repairs, maintenance and estate services, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
- Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding and wellbeing concerns.
- Build strong relationships with residents, contractors, local agencies and colleagues.
- Organise community activities that promote health, wellbeing and resident engagement.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and fire safety requirements.
- Provide cover across other West London communities when required.
What you’ll need
