We are looking for an Operations Manager who is prayerful, strategic and passionate about practically supporting the mission of the local church. The Operations Manager plays a key role as a senior member of the Inspire St James team. The Operations Manager has overall responsibility for the Operations Team and will work closely with all members of the team. They will also be part of the wider staff team in which we pray for one another and support one another to achieve our purpose and lead our ministries.

About the Role

Supported Lodgings Coordinator (Wigan) - 7 Months FTC

Help shape a new Supported Lodgings service and make a real difference to young people aged 16–21. In this fast‑paced role, you’ll assess need and risk, coordinate placements with trained community hosts, and provide practical, strengths‑based support that helps young people build stability, skills and confidence on their journey to independent living.

You’ll also recruit, train and support hosts, work closely with partners across housing, care and safeguarding, and actively promote the service in the local community. Key Deliverables

Young People

• To be the first point of contact for young people and referral partners wanting to access the Supported Lodgings service.
• You will lead on the assessment of needs and risk, predominantly focused on suitable risk management plans for the safeguarding, matching and placement of young people in the homes of hosts
• Arrange all aspects of a young person’s stay with a host, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported, taking into account the support needs of individuals.
• You will have responsibility for ensuring the health and safety of the environment for young people and hosts through regular checks and reporting.
• You will provide regular support and planning sessions for young people

The Role

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced partnerships professional to take the next step in their career and join this award-winning, fast-paced Corporate Partnerships team. Working within Royal Museums Greenwich’s highly successful Development department, you will be an active part of the continued growth of this this important national museum. 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Partnerships, the Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser is responsible for securing high level sponsorships and partnerships, and maintaining and growing the corporate membership programme. Key elements of the role include playing an active part in developing and delivering the Corporate Fundraising plan, identifying and initiating approaches to potential new corporate supporters for the Museum, and delivering compelling pitches and proposals to the highest standard.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of securing support of 5-6 figures from corporate supporters, or equivalent relevant agency business development and account management. An excellent account management track record is essential for this role, as is the ability to juggle competing priorities effectively with strong time management skills. The role holder will also have excellent communication skills, including written, presentation, and negotiation skills, and a proven ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt to changing circumstances. You will be joining a team that works very hard, but with greatly rewarding results!

This is a full-time, fixed-term role until 30 June 2028, in Band 5 - Management and Proficient Specialists. Core hours of work will be 36, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with an additional hour to be worked as agreed upon with management. You will work with individuals experiencing common mental health difficulties, including anxiety and depression, offering structured, practical support that can make a meaningful difference to their everyday lives.

About you

You will have experience supporting people with their mental health, ideally using structured approaches such as Guided Self Help or similar interventions.

The project:

We provide one-to-one advocacy and specialist work including workshops and group activities delivered by Advance in partnership with voluntary organisations. This role plays a critical part in coordinating the group offering for women accessing our services, as well as providing administration support across the region.

In short you will:

• Be the first point of contact for clients coming to the Women’s Centre; offering a warm welcome and trauma informed approach

• Ensure the client waiting area is kept tidy with up-to-date information/leaflets and supplies of refreshments

• Facilitate direct group delivery and events at the Women’s Centre and regional venues

• Hold responsibility for the Minerva telephone number and email account in your region

• Assist in researching additional resources and events for service users; both within the Centre and across the region

• Contribute to creating and lead on updating the local Services Directory with details of local organisations, key contacts and details of services on offer, including eligibility criteria

• Assist the Service Manager in managing the smooth running of the Women’s Centre in your region, including managing the group workshops timetable, arranging meetings and booking external venues for client groups or training events

• Manage administration for the Hampshire Minerva team

• Assist the Service Manager with the quality assurance and collation of data and information as required, including for funder reports.

Job purpose
Toynbee Hall’s community centre delivers a variety of community projects for people of all ages who live in Tower Hamlets. The Community Participation Officers work as part of the community team at Toynbee Hall, flexibly and collaboratively using their skills and experience to work with and support community members to create a welcoming and inclusive space.

Scope of role
