The role will support activity linked to Somerset’s Research Engagement Network (REN), Somerset Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) and wider research, partnership and engagement activity across Spark Somerset.
The postholder will play an important role in helping strengthen connections between communities, VCFSE organisations and research partners, ensuring community voices and experiences help shape future research and engagement activity.
You don’t need to come from a traditional academic research background – if you have an interest in research, participation and community engagement, and understand how community insights and lived experience can help shape better services, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role
We are looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver to make daily collections from our food partners in the Midlands region and deliver to warehouses across the West and East Midlands. This role is most suited to individuals with an aptitude for driving, who have excellent customer service skills combined with a professional attitude, as you will be dealing directly with our customers as a representative of FareShare Midlands.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work with the Supply Chain Team to collect surplus food from partners and deliver to the right regional centre.
This position will involve handballing and lifting with the provision of lifting equipment. You may be required to complete other duties as requested to suit the needs of the charity. Some work on Saturdays with notice will be required.

Role Purpose
The Camden Food Mission is a new service designed to deliver advice in food settings across Camden. This service is a direct response to local food insecurity across the council. It will deliver a floating advice service embedded primarily within food support locations, aiming to reach people who would not otherwise access advice services. The service will focus on stabilising income, managing debt, and reducing reliance on crisis provision.
The project will be delivered through a mix of face-to-face, telephone, and digital channels. Face-to-face appointments will be held in community food locations, with an emphasis on a flexible, visible presence to maximise reach.
We are recruiting a full-time debt adviser to join this project, to work alongside an established and experienced generalist adviser.
Ideally, you will be an experienced money adviser, and able to deliver high quality debt advice and on-going casework to clients. You will be an approved DRO intermediary or be willing to work towards becoming a DRO Intermediary by completing the relevant training. You should also hold the IMA Certificate of Money Advice Practice (CertMAP) or be willing to work towards obtaining this. The CertMAP and DRO Intermediary status are prerequisites to be considered at Senior Level.

The Resettlement Team operate as a core team within The Passage Resource Centre, conducting initial triage assessments with new service users, supporting with the day to day running of the centre and reception area, and carrying a caseload of service users working towards agreed housing goals and objectives. The Irish Resettlement Worker will work predominantly with Irish service users to explore solutions and opportunities to resolve their housing situation. They will ensure delivery of a holistic services to Irish service users who present in crisis to The Passage Resource Centre, identifying housing opportunities where appropriate and offering a reconnection service back to Ireland where this has been identified as an appropriate option. They will also ensure that the cultural needs of Irish clients are explored and catered for.

About the role

The Advocacy Director holds primary responsibility for delivering ECC’s advocacy strategy internationally and within the UK. This strategy aims to ensure states’ legal obligations on casualty recording are recognised and upheld globally, and that casualty data is used effectively to shape policy responses to conflict.
ECC’s advocacy work is focused primarily within the human rights and humanitarian multilateral fora in Geneva, but also incorporates work with New York-based UN targets within the security field. In parallel, as a UK-based organisation, we seek to influence domestic decision-makers including those within the FCDO, MoD, and parliament.
The Advocacy Director will be ECC's most senior external face after the Executive Director. As a key figure within a small organisation, the Advocacy Director will lead advocacy activity directly, building and stewarding relationships with state delegations, UK parliamentarians, UN officials, and civil society partners. The role requires exceptional political judgment, fluency across both multilateral and Westminster environments, and the credibility to represent ECC at the most senior national and international levels.

This is a joint venture between Citizens Advice Woking (CAW) and i-access, the drug and alcohol community service which offers specialist assessment, support, and treatment to people in Surrey who want help with their drug and/or alcohol use. The role is fixed term to the end of March 2027, but it is hoped that it will continue, subject to funding.
We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our specialist team. It is essential that the applicant has recent experience of advising clients, at Citizens Advice or another comparable organisation.
You will need to demonstrate that you can cope with a demanding caseload and that you are able to monitor and manage your own caseload to meet deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to work with i-access service users, either remotely or in person, the role is to provide information, advice, and casework in all areas of generalist advice, but particularly in the areas of welfare benefits, debt, and housing. Patience and empathy are essential.
The i-access adviser will need to travel to the three i-access locations in Guildford, Redhill, and Chertsey as well as to CAW’s office in Woking. It's likely the role will also entail working remotely from home, which will require a confidential work space and reliable Wi-Fi.
We will require the successful candidate to be screened by the DBS. However, a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to your being able to take up the job.
