Main purposes of the post
To deliver Salford CVS’s research and insight work, which includes the collection and analysis of data and producing timely written reports of the findings. Days: To be confirmed (core hours are worked between 8am – 6pm, Monday to Friday).

Job Profile
This role will lead CAFOD’s policy and advocacy work aimed at building a fairer global financial system. The post holder will have a solid understanding of contemporary global economic issues, including the global debt crisis, development finance and the workings of international multilateral organisations. Working closely with CAFOD’s overseas partners and within UK and global networks, this role will hold policy expertise on behalf of the organisation. This will involve developing policy positions and representing the organisation externally. Would you like to make a positive difference to the lives of survivors of torture? Do you have experience of coordinating clinical services delivery to marginalised groups in a community setting?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to work with an innovative and friendly multidisciplinary team at our London Centre, which is a purpose-built centre specifically designed for the treatment of torture survivors, with extensive indoor space and gardens.
About the Role
Our team of experienced clinicians offer a range of specialist therapy interventions, to survivors of torture and organised violence, on an individual and group therapy basis. The interventions equip survivors with the resolve to deal with the physical and psychological impacts of their experiences. Throughout the rehabilitative journey, we closely monitor the impact of the interventions as it relates to each survivor using specifically designed Outcome Tools, which in turn assist in ensuring that the survivors receive the best treatment possible.
About You
To be successful in this role you must be qualified in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, (you will be trained to doctorate level or an equivalent vocational level 7). If you are nearing the completion of your training in either discipline, we would still love to hear from you. You must have knowledge of at least one evidence-based approach to trauma therapy including trauma focused CBT, NET and EMDR, sufficient to be able to deploy this model clinically and determine appropriate intervention pathways. It is also essential that you are registered to practice as a psychologist with HCPC. Due to the psychological trauma experienced by our clients you must have up to date knowledge of relevant mental health and safeguarding legislation. Your role will include offering supervision to trainees.

About the Role
We are seeking a day support worker for our high-quality, self-contained accommodation for women who have experienced homelessness and multiple disadvantage. The aim of the service is to provide a therapeutic, trauma and psychologically-informed environment in which women feel safe and can flourish, enabling them to move on into independent, permanent accommodation. The role is located at an 18-bed, 24-hour supported housing service in Clapham.
In this role, you will provide support to all the women, including co-designing and running activities (such as art groups, self-care sessions, nature walks, cooking activities etc.) and accompanying women to appointments. You will work closely with Specialist Support Workers who manage individual resident support and safety plans.
The service and the wider organisation recognise the high levels of trauma that precede and perpetuate homelessness, and the complex, interconnecting needs that develop against this backdrop (including mental and physical health difficulties, substance misuse, brain injury, emotion dysregulation, interpersonal problems, and stigma and exclusion). The service operates as a best-practice, Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE), working in close partnership with homeless mental health experts and includes an in-house psychologist, offering therapeutic input to residents, and support and training to staff. In this role, you will model person-led, psychological, gender, and culturally informed support, will be skilled at building trust and you will be a great team player.
The post holder will undertake 8-hour shifts on a 7-day rota, covering the hours 07:45 am to 20:15 pm. Please be aware that the building has several floors and no lifts.
Due to the nature of this women’s supported housing service and the needs of the residents, this role is open to women only. This is considered to be an occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and inquisitive Data Analyst to join our Translational Research team.
This role will support the generation, interpretation, and communication of research insights derived from a range of healthcare, clinical, patient-reported, and real-world datasets. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to help transform data into meaningful evidence that informs research, healthcare decision-making, policy development, and patient outcomes.
The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful research programmes and innovative initiatives that advance understanding of prostate cancer and improve patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis, Feasibility and Insight Generation
· Analyse healthcare, clinical, patient-reported, registry, and other research datasets to identify statistically significant trends, patterns, and meaningful insights.
· Support the development of evidence and analytical outputs that inform research programmes, strategic priorities, healthcare decision-making, and external collaborations.
· Apply appropriate analytical and statistical methods to answer research and business questions.
· Interpret findings and identify their implications, opportunities, limitations, and areas requiring further investigation.
· Contribute to the evaluation of interventions, programmes, treatments, services, and healthcare innovations.
· Support feasibility assessments for proposed projects, including data availability, cohort size, eligibility criteria, survey feasibility and analytical complexity.
· Support cohort identification, eligibility checking, segmentation and participant/sample selection for studies.
· Support data cleaning, transformation, validation and documentation across datasets.
Reporting and Communication
· Prepare clear, accurate, and engaging reports, summaries, dashboards, and presentations for a range of internal and external audiences.
· Present complex analytical findings in formats that are accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Support the development of evidence-based communications, publications, grant applications, and research outputs.
· Work closely with colleagues to ensure insights are translated into actionable recommendations.
· Contribute to client-ready reports, dashboards, slide decks and summaries, ensuring findings are accurate, clear and appropriately caveated.
Collaborative Working
· Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues and external partners.
· Contribute analytical expertise to research planning, study design, grant applications, and collaborative projects.
Quality and Governance
· Ensure analytical outputs meet high standards of accuracy, transparency, and scientific rigour.

Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Health Informatics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Life Sciences, Economics, or a related discipline.
· Relevant analytical experience may be considered in lieu of specific degree subject.
Experience
· Experience analysing and interpreting data to generate insights and support decision-making.
· Experience working with structured datasets and producing reports, dashboards, or analytical outputs.
· Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
· Healthcare, research, charity, public sector, or life sciences experience desirable but not essential.
Knowledge
· Understanding of data analysis principles and basic statistical methodologies.
· Awareness of research methods and evidence generation approaches.
· Appreciation of the role of data and evidence in healthcare improvement and decision-making.
· Understanding of data quality, governance, and confidentiality requirements.
Skills
