As a specialist charity supporting survivors of sexual violence across twelve South London boroughs, we provide counselling, group therapy, advocacy, prevention education, and professional training. What You'll Do
You will play a vital role in expanding Rape Crisis South London’s prevention, awareness-raising, and income-generating activities within the Fundraising & Communications team. You will deliver trauma-informed training, workshops, and briefings – rooted in our decade’s long specialist experience — to challenge myths, break the silence around sexual violence, and embed supportive cultures across partner organisations. You will build sustainable partnerships, especially with corporate businesses, not-for-profit agencies, schools, universities and youth settings, that both deepen our impact and help grow our income through funded training and prevention programmes. In doing so, you’ll ensure prevention and awareness remains central to our mission, while enabling our organisation to scale services and income in a way that upholds the highest training standards.

Are you passionate about helping people experiencing domestic abuse to feel safer, regain control and move forward with their lives? Join Calan DVS as an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate and make a meaningful difference to individuals and families at the point they need it most.
As part of the Dal I Godi service, you will provide specialist, trauma-informed support and advocacy to victims of domestic abuse who have been assessed as being at high risk of serious harm. Working alongside each individual from the point of crisis, you will assess risk, develop personalised safety plans and help them understand and access the options available to protect themselves and their children.
You will manage a varied caseload and work closely with partner agencies, including the police, housing providers, social services, health professionals and the criminal and civil justice systems. You will also represent and advocate for victims through processes such as MARAC, ensuring their voice, choices and safety remain central throughout.
We are looking for someone with at least two years’ experience of providing high-level domestic abuse support, strong risk assessment and crisis-management skills, and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach. You should hold a recognised IDVA qualification or be willing to work towards one. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

You will work closely with victims of domestic abuse from the point of crisis and other gender-based abuse to provide high quality independent support to survivors all risk levels and their children..
In this role you will be part of a busy team. You will be the first point of contact for survivors who have been referred to the Gaia Centre. The duty IGVA will be responding to daily enquiries (specify from whom- public, agencies, individuals? over the phone and email as well as contacting survivors, assessing their risks and needs.
The duty IGVA will be responsible for carrying out and implementing safety plans and needs and will ensure an effective handover to the over to the relevant GAIA team for ongoing support. The post holder will also empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support. You will ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment, enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options. The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors.
As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

Occupational Requirement

Overview of the role
The Senior Caseworker – MD Lead plays a dual role in delivering high-quality casework services while providing specialist support and guidance to colleagues working with guests experiencing multiple disadvantages. The role provides advice, advocacy and casework support to a caseload of guests across our homelessness and vulnerable housing services, with a particular focus on those presenting with long-term, complex and multiple needs. 1. Advice and advocacy
· Providing an advice and advocacy service to a caseload of guests from across all our services for the homeless and vulnerably housed who present with long-term and complex needs, caseworking a smaller and more consistent caseload than other members of the team but working with them more intensively.
· Employing creative thinking and practices to ensure that guests are supported and motivated to achieve their goals, primarily to access and maintain accommodation and develop durable support networks
· Attending appointments with guests as needed and carrying out home visits
· Working with Caseworker colleagues to strengthen their understanding of complex needs, developing their confidence and ability to work effectively with guests
· Creating best practice guidelines to ensure consistency and accessible support.

4. Women’s Night Shelter lead
· Responsible for the day-to-day leadership and coordination of the casework provided to the women’s night shelter over the winter months.
· Ensuring that women accessing the service receive high-quality, person-centred support, advice and advocacy, both by taking on a caseload of clients and supporting the other caseworkers involved in the women’s night shelter. Helping guests to address immediate needs, while supporting them to access appropriate housing, health, welfare, legal and other specialist services.
· Participating in a weekly casework drop-in for guests of the women’s night shelter over winter; providing a safe, welcoming and trauma-informed environment to deliver casework to women experiencing homelessness, insecure housing and multiple disadvantages.
· Maintaining all safeguarding and risk management protocols.
5. Monitoring impact and administration
· Collating statistics and outcome measurements of the casework service for both internal and external use
· Maintaining a well-organised and easily accessible administration system for the casework programme in line with relevant legislation (e.g., GDPR), including accurate and up-to-date case notes using our internal In-Form system
· Adherence to all Glass Door policies and procedures, including compliance with safeguarding procedures

· Proactively identifying areas for improvement and development of service provision

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Support Worker to join our Stopover Supported Housing team in Worthing.
Stopover provides the only female-specific supported housing for young women in Brighton & Hove and West Sussex. The service offers a pathway from high to low levels of support, giving young women aged 16–25 a safe and stable environment in which to rebuild their lives and move toward independence.
You will work primarily within our low to medium-level support projects, supporting young women who have often experienced trauma, abuse, mental health challenges, and housing instability.
