-
Curious & Improvement-Driven: You don't just collect data to check a box for funders; you are passionate about building a "learning culture" where findings are actively used to iterate and improve our programmes.
As we work with children and young people, an offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory references and DBS clearance, in line with our safeguarding policy.
Key responsibilities:
-
Leading on developing and implementing Chefs in Schools’ evaluation and learning strategy, in line with our Theory of Change.
-
Owning and overseeing the impact dashboard

Ownership for embedding a learning culture, ensuring that timely and actionable insights are generated and fed back into design and delivery to support continuous improvement.
-
Using internal data and external research to identify what works, ensuring these insights are shared internally and across the sector in line with our strategic objectives.
-
Support delivery teams to collect quantitative and qualitative data using the evaluation toolkit. Ensuring data collection is proportionate and meaningful with high completion rates.
-
Support delivery teams to understand how impact data can help to improve and develop programme effectiveness, whilst maintaining quality.
-
Lead on the dissemination of findings across the organisation, including presenting at internal meetings and events
-
Translating data into clear, evidence-based recommendations to guide decision-making
-
Work across the organisation to ensure our impact is effectively communicated with external audiences.
-
Identify future research, evaluation and learning priorities that could strengthen Chefs in Schools’ programmes and contribute to wider sector understanding of effective approaches to improving school food.
-
Work with external academics and researchers to commission external evaluations to develop our evidence base and contribute to national and international studies .

- Is committed to equity, inclusion and social justice.
Why this role?

Recruitment timetable
Application deadline: 11:59 PM on Sunday 23rd August
First-round interviews: 7-8 September 2026
Salary: £38-40k
The role can be full-time or part-time, depending on the successful candidate’s availability. Ideally, you’ll work from our London office at least two days a week, although we can be flexible for the right person.
The Hepatitis C Trust is committed to equity and inclusion, and particularly welcomes applications from people with lived experience of hepatitis C, drug use, homelessness, the criminal justice system, or other experiences of social exclusion.
The Hepatitis C Trust is a charity dedicated to eliminating hepatitis C in the UK by 2030.

Help young people with an affinity for mathematics thrive.
We're looking for a Data + Insights Manager to build shared data systems, analyse national data and help a network of schools make better decisions.
This is an opportunity to join a small, ambitious charity at an exciting stage of its development. You'll help schools collect and use data more effectively, develop shared systems that save time and improve practice, and build the insight that helps schools, funders and U-Maths make better decisions.
If you enjoy turning real-world data into practical insight and want your work to have a national impact, we'd love to hear from you.
Why U-Maths?
U-Maths is the national charity for University Maths Schools.
Our vision is that every young person with an affinity for mathematics can thrive and succeed.
Our mission is to advance excellence and equity in mathematics education by strengthening and growing the national network of University Maths Schools.
There are currently nine state-funded University Maths Schools, each established in partnership with a leading university and specialising in mathematics and the mathematical sciences for students aged 16–19. The network continues to grow, with two further schools in Nottingham and Durham due to open.
Together, these schools are helping more young people – particularly those from backgrounds currently under-represented in the mathematical sciences – to access an outstanding mathematics education and progress to ambitious futures.
Why this role?
Schools are stronger when they work together.
By developing shared data systems, high-quality analysis and robust evidence at national level, U-Maths helps every University Maths School understand its work, strengthen its impact and reduce unnecessary duplication.
As our Data + Insights Manager, you'll play a central role in making that happen.
About the role
You'll lead U-Maths' work on data and insight across the network.
You'll help schools collect, manage and use data more effectively, develop and support a shared outreach CRM, produce high-quality reporting for schools and funders, and strengthen the evidence that helps U-Maths understand and improve its impact.
You'll also work with partners such as the Observatory for Mathematical Education to support robust national analysis and benchmarking where specialist expertise is needed.
What you'll be doing
You'll:
- develop and support a shared outreach CRM used across the University Maths School network;
- analyse data from schools and U-Maths programmes, producing clear insight for different audiences;

About R-Cities
The Resilient Cities Network (R-Cities) supports over 100 cities across more than 40 countries, helping them withstand, adapt, and thrive amid 21st-century challenges. Building on over a decade of work begun with The Rockefeller Foundation, R-Cities partners with governments, communities, and funders to address acute shocks and chronic stresses, delivering programs that strengthen climate resilience, equity, public health, and sustainability. It operates through a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a Netherlands-based Stichting.
About the Place-Based Resilience Team
The Place-Based Resilience team delivers R-Cities' Resilience for Communities (R4C) program at neighborhood scale, working with communities, cities, and funders across North America, Greater Manchester, and Malaysia. The team combines structured resilience assessment with community-led design, and translates what works in one place into practice elsewhere.
The role
You run day-to-day delivery of the R4C Greater Manchester program. You own the program's operational spine: plans, trackers, records, and the monitoring and evaluation data that evidences impact to funders. You also lead discrete workstreams including workshop facilitation, events, corporate volunteering with Zurich, and support to local implementation partners.
R4C Greater Manchester is currently delivered with local implementation partners at two demonstrator sites, Edgeley in Stockport with An Actions Common CIC and Higher Folds in Wigan with HF Works, alongside institutional partners including the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Stockport and Wigan Councils. The program is expanding to two new communities this year. It is funded by the Z Zurich Foundation and is supported by Zurich UK. The challenge is holding delivery, partner capability, and funder evidence together across four sites as the program moves into its second phase.
How the role is set up today
The program is entering Phase 2 following the close of Phase 1. The Lead - Place-Based Resilience currently carries direct delivery responsibility for Greater Manchester alongside portfolio leadership. You take on day-to-day delivery, with scope to broaden as that transition progresses.
