About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, efficient and experienced fundraiser who can adapt, react to and maximise income opportunities in a challenging fundraising landscape; someone who is genuinely excited about our vision and mission, can work independently as well as within a team structure and can translate our work into credible, effective and powerful fundraising messaging. Your primary focus will be driving our medium- to long-term income streams i.e. regular giving and legacies.

Child Bereavement UK is a digital first organisation leading the way in Digital Transformation across the Bereavement sector. This role will play a vital part in helping Child Bereavement UK turn up the dial across our Regional Fundraising team.

The Head of Regional Fundraising is responsible for overseeing our team of Regional Fundraising Managers and Challenge Events team to maximise income from community groups and associations, businesses and individuals as well as leading the growth and diversity of the challenge events portfolio.

Alongside leading the regional team, you will also be the main point of contact for our team of Community Ambassador Volunteers. You will work with them to keep them engaged, inspired and active with great training, communication, and by providing them with the tools, materials and resources they need to fulfil their roles across the country. 

You will develop outstanding supporter relationships and delivering long-term sustainable income through innovative, audience led fundraising. 

Main Responsibilities

Leadership 

· To lead and inspire the Regional Fundraising team fostering a collaborative and high performing culture that delivers against income and objectives

Regional Fundraising

We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager to grow support for our work in the UK and internationally. 

You will lead the implementation of our 2026–2028 fundraising strategy, develop compelling supporter journeys and creating inspiring propositions that connect donors with the difference their generosity makes. About the role
We are recruiting for a Regional Fundraising In Memoriam Officer to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week on a permanent contract. This is a home-based role, with occasional travel required for in-person team meetings and events.

This is an exciting new opportunity to join our team, as Regional Fundraising In Memoriam Officer you will lead the promotion and strategic development of our in-memory offering, Forget Me Not (FMN) Funds, to maximise sustainable income growth. By applying specialist knowledge and insight, you will expand reach and improve performance, embedding FMN Funds into everyday conversations with supporters.

You will also enable and empower colleagues across the wider team to effectively utilise this resource, supporting more families and friends as they experience grief as part of their dementia journey, while driving increased income. You will be developing and strengthening relationships with funeral directors to enhance stewardship of supporters who establish FMN Funds through this channel, as well as maximising the significant opportunities presented by offline funeral collections (FC).

In this role, you will be seen as the organisational expert in FMN Funds and Funeral Collections, driving income growth from this key stream by championing the offer across the organisation, ensuring it is widely understood, effectively delivered, and consistently optimised. You will develop compelling stewardship journeys to deepen supporter engagement, maximise retention, and ensure that all activity and messaging is culturally appropriate and relevant across all three nations.

About you
Joining us, you’ll have demonstrable experience working within the In Memory sector, including audience engagement. You’ll combine this with your experience of marketing and communications, including working cross collaboratively to achieve desired outcomes and your experience managing day-to-day relationships with external agencies.

Crucially, you’ll be able to think strategically and monitor, collect and analyse data to make clear decisions and recommendations. You’ll be proactive with the ability to use your initiative to drive an activity forward or solve problems.

- Acting as the point of contact and Trusted Expert for all FMN Fund and Funeral Collection activity for Regional Fundraising, and wider teams.
- Ensuring all internal and external relationships are developed and maintained to deliver the best possible result, including agencies, suppliers, and our internal marketing and press teams; implementing improvements where required.
- Championing the use of FMN Funds across the directorate, including Regional Fundraising.

Child Bereavement UK is a digital first organisation leading the way in Digital Transformation across the Bereavement sector. This role will play a vital part in helping Child Bereavement UK turn up the dial across our corporate partnerships fundraising.

As our Corporate Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Corporate & Commercial team to grow income from new and existing corporate partners, commercial collaborations and wider business development opportunities.

The Southmead Project is seeking an experienced and motivated Fundraiser to support the charity’s long-term financial sustainability.

The postholder will identify, research and secure funding from trusts, foundations, charitable bodies, statutory funders and other appropriate sources. They will lead on developing high-quality, persuasive funding applications and reports that clearly communicate the impact of the Southmead Project’s work and the needs of the people it supports.
